*"I'm with you there," Lars said, rubbing the ropes round her wrists against the sharp edge of a roof support until they finally frayed and snapped. She hurried to the main console. "But we'll have to deal with this Time Machine first... I can safely say that I have absolutely no idea how to stop it..." She looked across the monitors, trying to find some clue that would help her. "All I can say is that this... um... machine seems to think it's going home..."*
((Timelady/Sephy you are probably in the TARDIS. Would you like a spectacular death or a quiet one? We still have a rogue Master slithering around...))

(( rofl Ok so I was only wanting something along the lines of : Firestorm, Sephy, Telwin, Lars in TARDIS, Cybermen enroute to caves etc... but that works too. Do you really want your character to die? We're already losing one! Besides, he'd have to be killed 11 times...))
On board the flagship of the pirate fleet...
"Her signal's vanished captain..."
"What?" The captain checks the computer screen. They have been tracking Lars across the war-zone and are now close to orbiting Telos. "Check again... Her ship is still on the planet."
"Definitely gone sir. She either isn't on the planet or she's dead."
"Or her trackers been destroyed!"
"Yes sir..." he pauses for a long moment, "Do we land?"
The captain thinks this over. It's a risk to take the fleet down to earth, where they're at a disadvantage... "Yes. We'll pick up her ship, salvage what we can and get out. Ready the ship for entering the atmosphere... We'll go in alone."
Chief navigator Vista catches his superior's eye and smiles a grim smile. "Aye aye cap'n..."
((I'd forgotten about the other pirates... but they'd better do something...))

*Firestorm growls as she detects the Master in the TADIS but is unable to locate him. By now her rage has simmered down slightly. She doesn't want to kill Penfold now, but does want to cause him pain when she finds him.
"Hey guys, do you have any idea how we are gonna escape?"*

* Lars laughs. "I think the aim here is not so much escaping but surviving whatever's waiting for us when we get there..."
In the corner, unseen by the others, Sephy is curled up on the floor, staring into middle-distance. It hadn't taken much to escape her bonds. That wasn't what was bothering her. Nor was the fact that they were trapped in an enemy TARDIS. She had been oddly detached since they'd landed on the planet - it was something in the air perhaps. Something that had followed her...
In the shadows a snake-like creature slithers across the floor towards her. It opens it's jaws...
She feels a slight pain in her hand and then nothing. For a moment her eyes glow a brilliant green and then fade. She smiles.
Lars nervously taps a button on the console. "The monitor says were exiting the time vortex... do you think that's a good thing?" *

Roobarb rofl Ok so I was only wanting something along the lines of : Firestorm, Sephy, Telwin, Lars in TARDIS, Cybermen enroute to caves etc... but that works too. What can I say... I was bored. sweatdrop Roobarb Do you really want your character to die? We're already losing one! Besides, he'd have to be killed 11 times... Considering how bad he became, it only seemed right that Penfold be made to suffer. I'll leave it up to the Cyberleader to decide his actual fate, though. Roobarb I'd forgotten about the other pirates... but they'd better do something... Don't forget about the four Cybercruisers the Cyberleader sent. That might keep them a little busy. Since Penfold is out of commission, here's a new character I want to introduce. At the moment he's just in the TARDIS, silently watching as events unfold...
name: Wesker age: ? species: enhanced Cranium Rat home planet: alternate dimension abilities: limited telepathy weapons: none rank: Telwin's pet/companion bio: Picked up during Telwin's travels through space, Wesker appears to be a normal rat, except with its brain exposed. Although his mental capacity has been enhanced to near-human intelligence, he still occasionally exhibits rat-like urges. He cannot speak, but can communicate over short distances via telepathy. ((Note: that picture is swiped from a game setting called Planescape...))

Atop a decorative support arch in the TARDIS console room, Wesker the cranium rat cautiously surveys the activity below:
Jiggy works at reattaching her arm... Lars continues to fiddle at the console, trying to figure out how the machine operates... Firestorm, sensing the Master's essence somewhere in the room, searches...
Suddenly, Sephy springs to her feet, walking briskly to join Lars at the TARDIS console. "Oh, you're awake! How's your hand doing?" Lars asks. Sephy ignores her and begins tapping buttons, flipping switches, and pulling levers. Lars looks at her incredulously. "Are you sure you know what you're doing?"
"Oh, yes..." Sephy replies in a somewhat mischievous tone. Seconds later, the console's central column ceases it's upward/downward movement.
"We've arrived."
((... but where?))

As Jiggy finshed removing her bandages, her self-aware arm came out of hiding, slithering to her feet. She took the wayward body part and held it to her stump. With a sickening crunch, the arm fused back to her shoulder. Jiggy waved it around to make sure it was properly attached. "Before we walk out that door to whereever the hell this bloody contraption sent us, maybe we should wake up Telwin. If this is her TARDIS, she could be invaluable to us."
((By the way, I'm so happy to have another planescape player around here. That setting rocks.)) heart

Seeing that these newcomers to the TARDIS appeared to be friendly, Wesker jumped off his perch and plopped onto Jiggy's shoulder. He reached out telepathically to contact her mind: Don't be alarmed, I am the Mistress's humble servant! Let's awaken her--she's a Time Lord, and will know what to do!
Unfortunately, due to Jiggy's unique physiology as a genetically-engineered creature, Wesker's telepathic message bounced back unheard. Jiggy turned her head slightly to see a rat with an exposed brain sitting on her shoulder. Giving a shriek, she swatted him away with her newly reattached arm. He landed at the feet of Firestorm, who eyed him warily. Wesker tried to contact the her mind as well. Unsuccessful! The strong mental barriers around the Dragonman's mind were too difficult for him to breach.
Wesker looked around the room... was there any hope of escape?

Jiggy yelped for a moment in surprise and batted the rodent away. However after she gained her wits again, she noticed that the rat at Firestorm's feet had an exposed brain. "Well, that's odd. A Tardis sure get weird infestations. I want see it more closely." She got on her knees and tapped her fingers on the floor and made kissing noises, like she was calling a cat. "Come 'ere, sweetie. Mummy wants a look at you."

Wesker looked quizically at the beckoning Jiggy. Of the unknown bipedal creatures in the TARDIS, she clearly seemed to be the most intelligent - perhaps almost as intelligent as Mistress Telwin... although she did appear to be confusing Wesker for a cat. He approached Jiggy cautiously, getting to within 5 feet of her. Standing on his hind legs, the rodent pointed a forepaw at Telwin. How could he communicate with these strangers?
With a quick series of hand motions, he told them in Intergalactic Sign-Language: We mean you no harm! The Mistress can explain!
But would they understand?

*Firestorm frowns as she sences someone using telepathy andd instictively creates a barriar around her mind. When she sees the creature use sign language, she thinks that he probably doesnt mean any harm.
Reaching out to his mind she says, using telepathy :
"I am sorry if i shut myself off, but i have to be causious these days. If you want us to help or if you want to come with us, i am sure we will agree"*

Due to her strong mental powers, Firestorm's telepathic message hits Wesker's tiny rodent brain like a thunderbolt, sending him hurtling to the floor...
Ow, he responds back to the Dragonman, could you try not shouting? Picking himself up, he adds: yes, we'd be happy to be of service. But please wake up Mistress Telwin. She is most wise and understanding!
During this entire affair, Sephy-Master is puzzled that Jiggy and Firestorm seem to be having so much trouble getting rid of a simple rat. She briskly walks over to Wesker and gives him a good kick in the posterior, sending the hapless rodent soaring through the air. "If we are all done playing with the vermin, perhaps it is time to go outside and see where we are?"

*Sephy-Master is startled by a threatening growl from Firestorm as she sences something.
"Guys! Get AWAY from Sephy! Theres something wrong!"
She then scampers over to Wesker hoping he isnt hurt. Finding hes ok, she plants herself in front of him and growls at everything*
