Sally shot at him, then turned and continued on her way. She did not particularly like being called names, but if Ren wasn't dead then she could handle the man. An electric maze caused more damage then a gun and a white lie could really hurt.

Zachary turned and glared, but his anger very quickly subsided as a ripple seemed to tear through the very air. The faint sound of whispering entered his mind. s**t! There's one this close? And we didn't notice it sooner? He made a mad dash, grabbed the girl and jumped into the nearest building. "Nightmare," he whispered just loud enough for her to hear, and it was getting closer, the sense pulses continued getting closer and closer, and the whispering sound got so loud it seemed to block out all thought. He peeked around the corner of the window and saw it approaching. Luckily it hadn't noticed them, but what a terrible sight to behold. It appeared as a walking corpse, draped in a tattered cloak, in it's hand was a wicked great axe. Everything about it, the axe, the cloak, the corpse, was pitch black. "Fight or hide, decide now." he said in a barely audible voice. He knew that stayng put and letting it pass them by was the wiser option, but the adrenaline was in him now, and the thought of a creature dominant to humans left a bitter taste in his mouth. He decided, however, not to put the girl in danger and to await her response. What she chose, they would do.


((Just on a small note, if we choose to fight this nightmare, it will not go down easily, nor quickly. Its a nightmare, and no matter how strong or skilled YOU are, THEY can easliy take ten shots or so to the head and not die. They have no true vitals so need to be thouroughly destroyed. (Of course we will survive the battle, maybe a little worse for the wear, but it wont be over in any instant.)))

((too late now, nightmares have no issues with indoors, only the physical bodies resting place, also... we were already indoors. "He made a mad dash, grabbed the girl and jumped into the nearest building." You must've missed that part, lol. Also, that's why I gave you the choice))

Zachary yanked the girl away from the door and a split second later it was sent flying off it's hinges, crashing into the wall on the other side of the room. He threw the girl behind him into a connected room and shouted after her, "Find an oppurtunity and BLOW THIS ******** THINGS HEAD OFF!" He fire a volley of spikes into it's chest and ejected his knuckle spikes. Nightmares are strong, but they have a weakness, they overestimate themselves, and are nothing in close quarters against somebody with training, as long as that trained individual can avoid getting hit, or at least, this was Zacharious's assumption, one that was thankfully correct. Using his right hand he pulled one of the spikes out of the nightmare's chest and weilded it like a knife. The other thankful peice is the nightmares seemed to focus thier attacks using the weapon alone. The nightmare swung and Zacharious dodged around it's side putting it between him and the girl. He then stabbed it in the side and it spun to face him, it's back to her. Perfect, as long as I keep it's focus on me we can kill it.
