Sunagakure/Ninjutsu/Genin/Crystal Release

Orion ended his Jade Crystal Blade, the curving blade and gauntlet on his forearm shattering into crystal shards and particles, before pulling out his scroll once again. "This'll be the last one for today I think. The Crystal Armor jutsu, a C rank technique that covers the body in see through crystal without disabling movement." Orion nodded to himself as he read the particulars of the technique, before putting the scroll back into his pouch.

Orion took a breath and closed his eyes, envisioning a thin covering of crystal solidifying onto his skin, slowly spreading over his entire body. Opening his eyes, Orion's hands went through the hand signs as he said "Kesshō no Yoroi." He centered his chakra in his chest, molding it into the desired form before leaking it from his body's pores. As his chakra hit the air, it began to crystalize the dust particles on and around his skin, spreading everywhere. Orion could feel the crystal encase him with a flash of instinctual panic that he quickly suppressed. (Kesshō no Yoroi (Crystal Armor) 1/2)

Once he was completely incased moved his limbs and hands experimentally. There was a small problem, his fingers were solid lumps and his joints couldn't move. He suppressed the much more understandable panic that rose inside of him and cleared his mind. He imagined the crystal at the joints seamlessly connecting, but not fusing together and gave his arms and legs an experimental bend. They were free to move once more and he gave a small sigh of relief. Next he pictured each of his fingers being individually covered, but not growing into one another. Closing his fingers into a fist, he smiled to himself. He'd have to be more careful when using this specific technique, if he didn't picture the armor in the right way during a fight it would leave him vulnerable to an attack rather than blocking one. Still, he had to test the durability of the armor. Looking over at his clone, he tapped his kunai pouch, which hadn't been covered with the crystal armor. His clone got the idea and took out one of its own kunai, rushing at him and aiming for his stomach. (Kesshō no Yoroi (Crystal Armor) 2/2 Learned)

As the kunai connected there was a plinking sound and it bounced off. Orion then quickly lashed out with his fist and punched his clone in the face, causing it to disintegrate into a shower of crystal particles. Nodding in satisfaction, Orion ended both his Crystal Armor and his earlier Crystal Mirror, causing both to shatter into a myriad of tiny shards that sparkled in the fading light as they fell to the ground.

"Well, I think that's enough training for the day." Orion thought to himself, breathing noticibly harder than earlier since he had used quite a bit of his chakra. "Plus I have a mission tomorrow, so it would probably be best to get a good night's rest." With this in mind, Orion picked up the take out box from his food and headed back to his house.

xxxxxxHaseo stepped upon the sands of the training grounds, uttering a single sigh as he noticed that no one was around the area. "Man...this place is dead, where is everyone I wonder? Maybe I'm just the first one here...but that would be a first," Haseo said as he folded his arms across his chest. "I wish I could do a mission or something," he stated as he simply sat down upon the sands and closed his eyes. Keeping his arms folded across his chest, Haseo began speaking to the demon inside. He knows how the Nibi is, its cunning personality always seeking to control Haseo. However, as long as Haseo accepts the Nibi and maintains a will stronger than it, it will never take over him. Acceptance is the first step to recovery, so Haseo figured that he should from time to time try and have conversations with the Nibi and attempt at befriending the demon inside.

xxxxxxHaseo was surprised to see the sand in front of him swirl up like a torrent waiting to suck him up.Grasping the hilt of his sword, Haseo took a step back, not knowing what in the world was going on. Just as quickly as it started though, the sand subsided and Haseo breathed easily. Taking another step back, Haseo bumped into the desert hag, completely taken off guard as he spun around wildly and jumped back. It wasn't until she spoke that he removed his hand off his sword and stood up straight. This woman must be crazy powerful to have snuck on him so efficiently...or maybe Haseo was just weak. "Uh...yeah..." Haseo said, the only thing he could mutter. He was in slight shock and confused, not knowing what else to respond.

xxxxxxHaseo was rather psyched about being given a mission. But then it turned out to be a rather mundane mission. It was more of a babysitter mission. Haseo sighed as he nodded in understandment. "Alright I'll get to it then," Haseo said as he headed due east and went towards the academy.
