Name: Lisiana Smith Age: 11 House: Gryffindor Bio: She was orphaned at seven, and was adopted by a British couple who wished for an American child. They got their wish, only to find that as soon as they started showing her the magic world, Lisiana went from extremely shy to extremely angry, yelling that she wanted nothing to do with trickery, and that they should give it up. On her eleventh birthday, near the end of November, she got a letter from Hogwarts via owl post. She promptly tore it up and threw the scraps at the owl, demanding that it "get its ugly little self out of her room before she stabbed it with a knife!" Her foster parents got a letter from Hogwarts, which included the incident and some scraps of the first letter. When confronted, Lisiana accidentally set her foster mother's hair on fire, proving that yes, she was a witch. She was promptly taken to Diagon Alley, where she received her wizarding equipment and a small brown owl. Her foster parents wisely kept everything away from her until the day she was to leave for Hogwarts. Told to behave, or be punished severely, they took an angry Lisiana to Platform 9 3/4, and that is where it starts Personality: generally very shy and kind, preferring nature and books to people, but when it involves magic, quite the opposite. She becomes angry, and is liable to accidentally set things on fire.
