Hyato's eye's widened with fury and sorrow at the news of the Virgo cathedral being destroyed. The furious marksman disregarded the offer of bread as he reached through the prison bars and grabbed the guard by the collar. "For your sake buddy you better say that this is some sick joke you're playing on me just to piss me off. Well, congratulations kid... MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! I suggest you start talkin' pal and tell me everything you know before I ram your face into these bars and break your nose! And make it snappy! My patience is thin already from being cooped up in here for too long!" Hyato demanded while glaring the guard down. It wasn't anything new for Hyato to let his emotions take control of his better judgment but, only a few certain things would push even him to new found boundaries of rage and vengeful intent. Virgo's destruction being at the top of the list.
Kayla still hung her head low as her peers conversed amongst themselves about what to do. In an attempt to redeem herself, the young red headed female asked, "My Lady Judge, if there is anything I can be of assistance with, do not hesitate to ask me. I know I wasn't much help during the surprise attack but there must be something I can do to redeem myself for failing the Order and you My Ladyship." At this point she was once again kneeling before Lady Fiora with her head bowed towards the ground. Her attention was grabbed by the sounds of low moaning coming from a now stirring Blue Dragon.
"Uuungh.... Oh... Ugh... Ow... What happened...?" Tsunaimei said meekly as she opened her eyes slowly. She found herself laying on her back with Lady Fiora and Kayla being the closest to her prone body. The recovering Blue Dragon of Virgo gingerly sat up after much effort. She winced in pain as the back of her head as well as her belly throbbed with a constant pounding like that of a hammer on a forge. Her left arm held her ribs while her sword arm held massaged the back of her head. Tsunaimei realized that she no longer had the pouch that Celine had given her and immediately looked around in a frantic state of concern. "Where is it? Where is the stone?!" Tsunaimei asked openly. The Holy Knight let out a hiss as she staggered to a vertical base still holding her sore spots. A vague image of Bane walking up to her flashed in Tsunaimei's mind but she couldn't remember anything past that. Tsunaimei looked at Fiora and gasped in utter disbelief. "Do my weary eyes deceive me?" She sputtered softly while scanning Lady Fiora. Everything looked so familiar to the Holy Knight and yet she couldn't fathom the idea that Lady Fiora had actually survived the fall she had suffered during the Battle of Zeirchele Falls. Haunting memories from the battle filled her mind. Especially when Tsunaimei watched as Fiora was ran over by a desperate adversary on a chocobo and the three fell over the waterfall's edge to their doom. Tsunaimei winced again, snapping back into reality. "Lady Fiora? Is it really you? But... how did you...?" Tsunaimei asked in utter disbelief and shock.

Gwynn laughed. "It's possible," he said, wanting to keep things to himself for the moment. "For now, we just concentrate on getting there." He then fell silent as he pushed the chocobo ever faster, giving little care to the limits of the bird.
Ceres stood up and walked closer to the king, flipping her blonde hair back casually. With another order member around, she felt it would be too risky to reveal why she was there entirely. "I have come to bring you good and bad news. The bad news is, is that Gemini has fallen under attack by a creature that was being kept prisoner there. I'd imagine the order is a lost cause by now. However...that task in which you have asked me to do, I have not only accepted it, but it has been done. I have it," she said, smiling smugly at him. "However, what's in it for me?"
Fiora smiled at both Dmitri and Mer'loct, thankful for both of their offers. "Thank you, all of you, and Dmitri, if it comes down to it, I would help Leo defend herself.," she said, then looking at the newcomer for a moment before glancing around at the rubble. "We...should search for any and all survivors. Heal the wounded. Once that is accomplished, we'll leave for Leo then."
"Eh..." Dominic began. "I wouldn't be the one to tell you can, but I definitely won't turn down your help either. We kinda could use it. Err...you wouldn't happen to know any white magic, would you?" he asked sheepishly, then hearing Tsunaimei wake then stand.
Minerva smiled sadly and shook her head. "I don't know white magicks but as a monk I do have a little healing capability," she answered, thinking about how awful it was that virgo had taken so much damage so easily.
Fiora placed her free hand on Kayla's shoulder. "you did what you could for virgo in her hour of need. ...For now, I want you to help me get everyone together and see who all needs healing. If there are priests left, then if they aren't working direct them to those that need help." The judge then watched as Tsunaimei stood, her blue eyes wincing a bit at the Blue Dragon's question. "I fear it has fallen into the hands of the enemy. Gwynn left with it after felling the tower..." She watched as Tsun's face filled with disbelief and asked further questions, causing the judge to smile sadly. "I was able to grab onto the chocobo as it went over the edge with me, so as it glided I was able to let the drop get smaller. The attacker did manage to strike me at the side of my neck however and...I did fall a good distance still. I'm not exactly sure how I survived beyond that. All I know is that I came to in a kind couple's home far down the river. It took me a while to recover enough to travel and regain my strength." She thought fondly on the small family that had helped her.

Bane nodded silently. He followed along at a steady pace, keeping up with Gwynn. Who in the world would want Virgo's stone? And who in the palace? Some corrupt official? A knight? Who? Bane chewed silently inwardly on his cheek, pondering and toying with the idea."Thank you Luci. That will set my mind at ease. I'm sorry for calling you all this way for something trivial. I just wanted to at least see someone of the Order to ease my fears since Virgo was attacked." He paused upon hearing Ceres's report. "What...?! Gemini...? Are you serious?!" Delita sunk back into his chair. With Luci around, he couldn't ask if the creature had the stone in hand.
"Well, depends on what you want Ceres." Delita replied with a small grin.
The poor guard flinched and fell back, trembling. "N-no! I'm n-n-not playing! Vi-virgo was attacked! All we know is that...that its bad! Th-that the chapel was destroyed in some blast!"Dmitri nodded. "I'd take you Mer'loct but I'm afraid the only spot I had open was taken." He stated somewhat apologetically. "Perhaps there is a chocobo wandering around in the area? I'm sure those mercenaries didn't come here by foot." Dmitri then looked to his old friend, Tsunaimei sadly. "I'm afraid Gwynn had some aid....and we failed to catch him." He shifted slightly. "Tsun, I'm afraid there is no easy way to say this but...." He looked at her with his only good eye, eye to eye. "Bane knocked you out and fled with the stone. Gwynn was the mercenary leader." She managed to get to the room where the stone was held. Brynhildr grinned as she took hold of it but then frowned. "Its false!" She cried. With a growl, she placed it in a pouch nonetheless and quickly exited and spotted Alundra. "My Lady! Quickly! Come with me! We must exit this place! I've already got the stone! We can't lose either one of you!" A small group of squires came to her side.Alundra had cut down a attacker, surprised to see it a member of her Order. She was shaken until she heard Brynhildr's voice. She glanced back to Brynhildr and her paranoia kicked in. "NO! NO! I'm not leaving any of my members behind! Dmitri is coming! I-I know he is!"Brynhildr rolled her eyes. "If he was coming, he'd be here already wouldn't he? Who's to say he's not behind the attacks himself? I mean...he knows how vulnerable you are..." The Ark Knight silently chuckled as she saw the doubt begin to show in Alundra's eyes. "Who's to say that when he does show up to help, that he won't stab you in the back? Let me be honest my dear...he set me up all those years ago. Dmitri let metake the fall when he was the one who caused the attack. I tried to stop him."Alundra shook her head and took off. Brynhildr's words struck her profoundly; what if she was right? What if she was telling the truth? What if Dmitri was behind the attacks? After all, he should have come back by now. Alundra shook her head again to clear her thoughts. She let out a heavy sigh and nearly lost her head as a squire clumsily flew over her head. Alundra blocked the next swing and injured the squire.
She wanted to avoid death as much as possible.

Ceres smiled, thinking for a moment. "Well then...what are you willing to give? A huge sack of gil would be good for starters...around 500,000," she answered. Though, in all honestly Ceres hadn't really even thought that far ahead. The opportunity had come up suddenly after all, not to mention she had thought the king had something in mind to start with when he even asked.

Kayla beamed with excitement at the sight of seeing Tsunaimei awake. She ran over and gave the Holy Knight a hug while saying, "Lady Tsunaimei! I'm so glad you're okay! Forgive us for not being able to catch Bane! I'm sure he's in for it now."
Hyato's grip on the guard had loosened enough for the poor man to fall on his butt out of fear. Thanks in large part to the shock going through the White Phoenix marksman's mind. The dark haired man fell to his knees and wallowed in sorrow, letting his hair fall in front of his face. "It... it can't be true... There's no way that Tsunaimei and the others could've been annihilated just like that... AAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!" Hyato yelled in anger. He immediately rose up and attempted to shake the door loose to no avail. "You're uncle is probably dead then if what you say is true..." The blue clad sniper began launching himself, shoulder first, as hard as he could into the door in vain attempts of trying to break free. "I swear... when I... get out... I'll make them... pay for this... whoever put me... in here and... whoever ruined... Virgo... Mark... my... words...!" Hyato spoke in between charges.
Tsunaimei couldn't believe what she had heard from Dmitri. "I'll kill Bane for that..." She spat with loathing towards the traitorous mercenary. Turning her attention to Lady Fiora and walked up to the Virgo Judge. After looking her up and down again, Tsunaimei, while in rare form, gave Fiora a big embrace as tears streamed down her cheek. The Vice Judge let go after a few moments. "We thought we lost you forever. Forgive me Milady. I failed everyone and was the one responsible for destroying the cathedral. I can't believe Lord Gwynn did this to us. After everything we've been through. I know you two weren't on the best of terms when he decided to leave but still... Why would your brother turn his back on the same principles he swore to defend? It doesn't make any sense. What could he possibly hope to gain with the stone? Didn't he get his revenge with Virgo's destruction? Unless achieving total victory means the inclusion of your death, Lady Fiora. He'll have to get through me first before that ever happens. I can assure you that." The sapphire clad female said with a renewed sense of determination. She looked around as survivors of the Virgo Order started to crowd around the heroes. They numbered roughly around 300 but perhaps maybe a 100 of them were still combat ready while the rest were injured. Majority of the Virgo soldiers were what remained of the White Phoenix battalion.

With nothing more than a bow, Mer'loct turned and quickly began digging and searching for survivors from within the tower. Finding one quickly, he lifted the slab of ivory stone off the young squire and began to concentrate. Searching through the boy's chakra he could feel it still, it was faint, but the boy was still alive. Bring out his own chakra he forced it into the wounded squire's body. "Revive!" He cried as he healed the more serious wounds in the boy. The squire's eyes opened and he began to stir, from here he would be alright. Taking the child into his arms he began to carry him away from the field of rubble towards a crowd of what looked to be mages of Virgo.
Maluc continued through the secret tunnels along the inside of the walls finding his way secretly passed the conflict. Emerging from the ground, he saw a small force of soldiers readying an attack from outside the walls. Staying in hiding for the moment, he would wait for the more precise way to attack.

Luci figured what they were discussing would not be welcome to his ears, and turned to leave. "If you have need of me, I need not yet return to Capricorn, there isn't anything for me to do there, and I will wait outside if I am needed." He then moved out of he hall, standing with some of the guards.

"Is that all? I'm surprised. Are you sure? You must have something else in mind besides gil. A woman like you doesn't offer her services for cheap." Delita stated with a grin.
"Your not gonna get out so easily." The guard offered with a sigh. "I'll see what I can do but there is no guarantee." He shrugged and arose. "When I learn more I will let you know." The guard then left.
Dmitri decided before leaving for Leo, he'll help find survivors. He managed to find a young woman barely hanging on and managed to bring her to the healers. He kept his eyes open for more. Dmitri couldn't help but also silently pray that things at Leo were fine.
A squad of squires managed to lead a mercenary band to the Leo Order. Once they arrived they began to set up their siege weapons.
"Tear down those walls!" One cried, pointing the walls that surrounded Leo.
There were screams of horror and of victory. Cries of agony and of happiness. There too many allies who ended up becoming an enemy. The seeds of chaos had been well planted by the time the war broke out and Bryhildr took the time to enjoy the scene of chaos.
Alundra was surrounded by her own squires. She was heart broken as she did not have the heart to hurt them much less kill them. It was broken even further by the fact they had no problem doing so to her. Bearing many wounds, Alundra began to retreat back to the Tower.

Hyato shot the guard a look and paused in his vain assault on the cell door. "Tell me something I don't know." He smarted off in response to the guard's comment. Watching the guard run off, the blue clad marksman yelled to him, "Hey kid! Be careful.... and thanks." The pain surging through his right shoulder finally hit him like a punch to the face. Wincing and holding the aching limb, Hyato thought aloud with a hiss, "Damn that hurt. Should've known better than to try and break through steel bars. Heh... If Raipheale was here then he'd blast the thing into bits. I wonder what how he's holding up? Where you are old friend..."
Meanwhile in a hidden chamber within Igros Castle...
Loud screams of agony rang throughout the room. The man crying in pain was strapped down to a table by his wrists and ankles and was surrounded by a group of hooded mages and the like who pursued science as a career. Various chemicals in bottles and other instruments were scattered all over the room on tables of their own. "Again." Commanded a hooded figure who seemed to be in charge of the strange experiments taking place. A fellow mage nodded and flipped a switch with shot electricity into the demon-angel of a man laying helpless and convulsing with the current passing through his entire body. More screams echoed through the chamber while a group of mages constantly chanted some ancient tongue during the process. Raipheale struggled in vain to break free but the restraints on him were too great. Not only did he struggle physically through the torture but mentally as well due to the demon within his body sought freedom as well and unlike Raipheale, it was willing to use any means necessary in order to take complete control over the black mage's body and wreak havoc upon the world. After a few moments the mage flipped the switch and the electricity stopped. Breathing heavily, Raipheale warned, "You fools don't know what you're doing. If you release this demon from within me then many innocent people will die as well as yourselves. Stop this foolishness and let me go!" The mage in charge laughed and retorted, "Not if we can control the beast and use him for our own means. Besides that is what our Lord wishes and to fail him means our deaths. So I'll take my chances. I admire your strength and determination but in the end you will succumb to us. Again!" The caster in charge of the switch flipped it once more and the demonic-angel known as Raipheale Plateaigo howled in torment once again.
Kayla had made it a point to help round up the survivors and lead them to the rest of the group. She also searched through all the rubble and ruins of the once fabled Order of Virgo to see if she could find any stragglers as well. She was horrified at the sights of death from her fellow members of the Order but somehow managed to keep her resolve. While letting herself be used as a crutch for an injured archer, Kayla came back and reported, "These were all the survivors that I could manage to find, Milady. Most are injured but they insist on fighting anyway. It appears they share the same determination you do Lady Tsunaimei. I'll continue to help them as best I can." Kayla gave a bow and helped the remaining White Mages in their undaunting task of healing the wounded.
Tsunaimei watched as the survivors had mixed expressions on their faces. From hatred to sorrow, the Vice Judge studied them carefully. Thinking of a way to boost their spirits in their time of need. Virgo was utterly defeated and even the famed Blue Dragon herself nearly fell in battle but Tsunaimei wasn't about to give up without a fight. She glanced over at Fiora and began to pace back and forth to pass the time. After a few minutes of pondering, Tsunaimei stopped pacing around and walked up to Fiora's side. "Milady, what do you suppose we should do? We have no home anymore and I'm not sure if taking refuge in one of the nearby towns would do us any good either. Not to mention the possibility of getting innocent civilians involved should we come under attack again." Tsunaimei asked, unaware of the decision made to head to the Order of Leo in order to seek refuge.

Ra'Zir had been flying for what felt like forever. His sturdy wings managed to carry him well, despite the lack of use they've had. Below him, he watched the country side change many times, from farms to plains, to forests, and with each passing he just thought one thing: "How smug the king must be." Stopping for his first break, he landed on a hill that over looked his destination, Igros Castle. "Well I'm hardly dressed for the king..." he chuckled to himself staring at his tattered robes. "I'm sure that rich guy in there is more than.... willing... to part with a few articles of clothes!" he said to himself as he flexed and wiggled his fingers.

Ceres sighed softly. "Well...you know I am fond of stuffed animals," she laughed, obviously joking. Her laughter quickly died. "If I'm right, then my home has been lost. I'd much rather like to have another. A nice one, not some dingy shack down the road, giving you Gemini is worth so much more than that," she said, inspecting the nails on her free hand. Her violet eyes did nothing to betray her confidence. Delita didn't scare her.
Fiora watched Tsunaimei and sadly shook her head. "I'd rather have another 10 cathedrals destroyed than lose the rest of our members. I know nothing of my brother's motivations," she answered, then saw the Blue Dragon come up to her and Gloria. "We're going to travel to the order of Leo and see what we can do to rebuild ourselves. Dmitri also has fears for his order, so going will also help calm him."
Gloria finally walked away, and could see more and more of the wounded being gathered. She gingerly pulled out her harp and began to sing. Bards were known for their ability to bestow various benefits to all allies, including the ability to slowly heal them through song. As the child's voice filled the air, all of those around her would find that over time their wounds were slowly healing little by little.
Both Celine and Minerva went to help the healing process, Celine casting Aegis on anyone she could find, and Minerva using her chakra to heal groups surrounding her as well.
Dominic looked around, feeling pretty useless. He wasn't a healer by any means.
Fiora watched Gloria sing for a moment, before nodding and looking to Tsunaimei. "We leave in two hours, if not sooner. Whenever we can go, we need to." She then turned to Dominic. "Dominic, go and gather any chocobos we have left." With that, the judge walked towards the other priests to lend her own healing magicks to help the members of the order.
Dominic nodded and saluted. "Yes, Judge Fiora," he said, looking at Dmitri. "Hey, Dmitri, I could use some help in getting the birds together."

Valthis, seeing everyone trying to help, and rally everyone, stood in place as if he were uncaring. But before long, he approached the virgo judge Fiora. Valthis pulled out four hi potions from his robe, and two pheonix downs, then tapped her shoulder, and presented them. ".....Virgo.....Virgos need help......Take these........" Valthis then said slightly less creepily then usual.

Mer'loct continued to dig through the rubble of the tower, rage was beginning to grip him as all he kept finding were bodies. He'd begun bringing each one to lay in a line. He'd have covered their faces if he'd had the cloth to do so. He pushed onward though, digging through the rubble with his bare hands even after they'd begun to bleed. In the end it seemed worth it, he had found a young girl that had been buried.
Maluc was at a loss, he couldn't fight the entire battle like he'd want to. He searched his mind for the catalyst to the battle. He found too many possible causes. "I can't just stand by and do nothing, I'll think while I fight." Maluc headed back into his secret passage, leading underground to the entrance of the Order. Rising from the ground he stepped onto the brick laden path that lead to Leo's doorstep. He headed for the mercenary force attacking with catapults. Having been gone for so long gave him some advantage, no one would know who he was. At first at the very least he'd pose as a mercenary, and work some sabotage.

"How about a mansion then? Might that satisfy you? With all the gil you'll be getting, you'll be able to buy all the stuffed animals you want. I'll let you pick the place for your mansion in fact." Delita said with a grin.
As the men around Raipheale flipped the switch again, another man in a different colored robe appeared. "How does it go?" He asked, his eyes scanning over Raipheale. "Has he broken yet?"
A few hours later, the young guard slipped back in, his face ashen with an apple and offered it to Hyato. "I-I found out more about Virgo. The place is in ruins. There are survivors but the death toll is still rising." He shrugged helplessly. "It'll be days before they know who and how many died." He looked down. "I...I'm sorry ser."
Dmitri felt a little better as Gloria played her harp and sang and that at least he could help ease Virgo's wounds, however little it might be. He was in a trance like state, staring out into the ruins before Dominic's voice brought him back. "Hmm? Oh uh, sure. I don't mind." He then tagged behind Dominic to help round up the chocobos.
Alundra reached the Tower before her group of attackers reached her and locked it. She winced slightly as her wound gushed more blood. At the moment, she couldn't heal it; there wasn't enough time. She began to move furniture and anything else she could to barricade the doors. Once Alundra felt safe and that she had bought some time, she began to dig in her pockets for a Hi-Potion.
"You there!" Shouted a Commander, spotting Maluc. "Why aren't you with your Batallion?!" He eyed Maluc up and down. "Where's your insignia?! What company might you belong to!? What were your orders solider?!"
The Catapults shook as they heaved another boulder at the walls. The walls slowly began to crumble under its blow but still stood defiant and proud.
By now, many were wounded or dead. As Brynhildr walked the ruins of the once beautiful garden, a smirk on her face, she took the moment to revel in her chaos. Now there was only the matter of finding the real stone. She had taken the time to ensure the one she found was fake and indeed it was. Was Alundra then guarding a false one all this time without knowing? Where was the real one? Where would it be hidden? She took a turn and began to head to the library.
