Rosie looked at him, folding her arms behind her and gently rubbing the tip of her shoe into the floor. The wheels were turning in her head as she looked at him, but she seemed reluctant to say what was on her mind. "Well...I usually just have to play by myself. There's no one else my age to play with." she admitted.
Well...aside from duplicating herself that is.

Lucas smiled sympathetically. "Aww, well it's okay, Rosie, I'll play with you!" he said happily, and Sandra smiled approvingly at this.

Rosie smiled at him, but didn't answer him right away. She just stared at him, then gave him a full look over again. A mischievous little twinkle glimmering in her red eyes. The hands she had folded behind her back were brought back in front of her and up under her mouth as she looked at him again. "Will you....can I....um....can I have a piggy back ride?" she asked shyly.

Lucas' face broke out in an enormous grin. "Sure!" he said happily, gently picking the girl up and placing her on his back. "Okay... Now, do you want me to go fast, or slow?" he asked her.
Sandra's smile widened even further. She could remember clearly when Lucas had been a little boy, not any older than Rosie; he had loved doing piggy back rides with his father, Harry. It was so touching to see him do the same thing for another child.

Rosie beamed, wrapping her little arms around him. "Fast!" she exclaimed. She was very honestly and clearly excited. Other than herself, she didn't really have anyone to play with.

"Okay... Now, uh... Let's see if there's enough room... Or can we go outside?" he asked, looking to Henry.

Henry looked at them with a grin. "You go right on ahead outside if ya want. I'd say you could use the halls, there's plenty of space in there, but I'm not sure who all you'd run into." he replied.

Lucas nodded. "I think we'll play it safe and go into the halls," he said. "Okay, get ready... Aaaand... GO!" he said, running down the nearest halls, moving rather quickly.

Rosie squealed as Lucas shot off down the hall. She held onto him tighter and giggled the entire way.

Lucas cheered along with Rosie, moving a little faster with each step, and making sure he didn't run into anyone in the halls.
"So, you havin' fun?" he called to her.

"Mmhmm!" she replied happily.
Alex smiled a bit and sighed as the two disappeared out of the room. She glanced around a bit more, then looked around for a place to sit down. Might as well be comfortable as they waited.

Lucas decided to up the game a little-- literally, as he satrted jumping into the air as he ran.

Rosie squealed with the first jump, then went into an all out giggle fit the rest of the ride.
Meanwhile, Alcina was just finishing the meal Edel had fixed for her. She was honestly quite surprised. She had not expected the woman to be able to provide her with food from her home planet. Considering it was non-existant. The aroma and stones set about the room were supposed to help her recover, as well as the tea Edel had left for her.
The ruckus in the hallway caught her attention, and she stared at the doorway curiously for a few moments. Against her better judgment, she decided to wander over to the door and see just what was going on.

Lucas reached the end of the hallway, and stopped, then turned. "OKay, so what's say we go even faster for the return trip?" he asked, grinning widely.

Rosie mirrored his grin, a thrilled gleam in her eyes and she adjusted her grip so that she couldn't fall off of him. "Let's go for it!" she exclaimed.
Alcina opened the door, and poked her head out, looking around the hall. She didn't see anything, other than the woman of the house walking down the hallway towards the main hall that led to the other half of the house.
