Alpha: See the World
Evie laughed when Carlos came back at her about the speech. It was something she could appreciate knowing that he would get into trouble for something crazy. She probably would as well. She joked back, "I'm sure I could whip something up for you by the end of the day. Of course, I won't be the one scolding you when you do something crazy. I'm not your team leader..." She winked and smiled glad that the humor was present.
The thought of a fried tarantula made her stick her tongue out in dislike. It was the most idiotic thing for her to get the heebie jeebies over but they creeped out out for some reason. She'd deal with them if she had to but having to was something she'd rather not deal with.
When he walked by her she noticed the lingering arm on her waist. Momentarily she was given chills and she watched him as he walked off to climb the tree. Oh don't even think about it. Too late, she thought about it. She knew being there was, in part, tempting fate. Her latent attraction to Carlos had never been a secret back at good ol' Academy X even if that wasn't her intention today.
Part of her felt bad sitting back and watching him work, doing nothing herself. She'd never had to play beach survival before. If she had to, she knew she could do it but this was fascinating. When he handed her the shell, she had no intention of saying no so she thanked him. New things intrigued her especially when it came to anything sensory (which most things were). She processed the taste and wasn't sure how she felt about it, "I'll get back to you on this one. It's not bad, but I'm not sure if I exactly like it yet."
Of course, she didn't stop trying it. She watched him work and leaned back on the palms of her hands, "Do you need any help? I don't want to be a rude house guest. I may show up uninvited but I'm always willing to help."

ALHA I'm not here! He did it! “Hm. Figures, my first day on the team and I almost kill a minor.” Wilbur shook his head. “Nice to meet you Leion. Too bad you’re an Omega, we could’ve been friends,” he laughed and clapped the Omega on the back. Just as he did this, he saw his racing buddy get hit in the shoulder with the girl’s fast projectile. He smiled, satisfied, and watched Eli as he came toward them.
“I’m not doing too bad, considering I just lost a race and everything.” Wilbur didn’t pay much attention to Eli as he collected the metal from the ground, wondering where it came from. “Uh…yeah, yeah. Definitely. I wonder if the academy has a really big track on grounds, or maybe we could just race across the Atlantic if that board of yours can take it.” Wilbur grinned, knowing that if the race were over water, he would easily win.
It seemed that their impromptu race had suddenly made Wilbur and Eli the topic of everyone at the beach’s conversation. Well, Eli was getting more of the attention because he’d sprayed some of the most important people there, but that was not exactly the kind of attention Wilbur sought after. A red head, the one who landed that nice shot on Eli, came stalking up to the boys. Wilbur shrunk into the background so as not to make any sort of contact. She looked like a lady on a mission and who was Wilbur to disturb her from it. He wasn’t sure how he felt about being addressed as ‘fresh meat’. Sure, Wilbur was part of the race, and he was new, but he wasn’t exactly the one to cover the two group leaders with sand. He stepped a little more behind Leion and Eli, hoping to get far enough away so as to not be noticed anymore. He might say hello later, but he was going to let Eli take this one all on his own.

Alphas: watching boys dig their own graves and humming creepy songs
Hoshi was going to go join the boys in their race-until the omega girls got sprayed with sand. 'or I could stay far away from them right now.' she thought to herself. She giggled to herself as she saw Wilbur inch away from the crime scene slowly, as if not to attraction to himself.
Hoshi flew over to the group and waited for Wilbur to come closer to her. while she waited, she began absently humming a song she'd found online last year-Alice of Human Sacrifice, mostly to avoid scaring the crap out of Wilbur. Once He was close to her, she tapped him on the shoulder."Hey again. Does now seem like a good time for me to go over what I know about the teams for you?" she asked.

Alpha - Irresponsibility, Can I make it up? Eli laughed at Wilbur's statement about over the Atlantic.
"It's too choppy, besides, with the drawbacks to my abilities, I'd rather be close to the Academy in case I went into convulsions." He said trailing off and looking away, "I have a bad tendency to push myself, weather it's with my abilities or not, and end up getting hurt somehow."
As he finished explaining this, Kerrigan walked up to the three. He turned to face her as she verbally ripped him a new one. "Damn, she found me," He thought to himself, "Was it the tattoo?" He asked himself. After all, it was a fairly large tattoo of a grim reaper that covered a large portion of his back and the wing and scythe wrapped along the shoulders to the triceps. Fairly large and noticeable.
As he continued to hear her go on, she finally got to the part where it put Bella in a tough position. Eli never thought about it. He hadn't really been apart of any team. Nor did he ever think of the repercussions of his actions now that he was apart of one.
He looked to the sand and started digging a hole in the ground with his big toe.
"I'm sorry, my actions were immature and probably anything I say from this point to you would seem an excuse, in which I have none. All I have to offer is my apologies." He said as the hole he dug slowly grew. As his apology finished, a newcomer (Jack) approached the group and commented on his actions.
"Yes, I get it, they're the top notch 10's that must be bowed to, I get it. Will I submit? Who knows." He said coldly. "It's Eli by the way, not 'fresh meat'."
He sighed silently, playing it off as a stretch. "I don't know about you guys and how often you've been here. But when nightfall hits, Catalina isn't that fun. You guys up for heading over to the Mainland? I used to live in Huntington Beach, I can show you guys some nice spots." He offered to all who were in ear shot. He figured, he could attempt to make amends with the Red head, and possibly make friends with Wilbur, Jack, Hoshi, and Leion. After all, Eli wasn't one for being social, he was either catching up on the latest developments in science, trying to invent things, his studies, or doing something to get his adrenaline rushing. Not a lifestyle that was very sociable.

Alpha: Master and smoothing things over... Isabella counted to ten, twice. She refused to rub her arm, or acknowledge the fact that it was beat red—Even on her tanned skin. Surprisingly she found that none of Narcissa’s threats or words really hit home… Sadly, because about half of it was true. But eighty percent of the time Cissa reaped what she sowed—Either from current sleights, or past karma, Bella didn’t dare guess. Watching the Omega leader stalk away… She felt a hint of guilt. Again, as usual.
Maybe she shouldn’t have expected her to try and fry poor Eli on the spot.
But would that really be so out of character?
There was a fine, gradually thinning line between Narcissa and… Well… People like the Brotherhood. It was like walking her walk on the edge of a blade… If a strong wind blew, she could tip one way or the other.
So was she out of line for making sure her Alpha was protected?
No.
Did she feel bad about unintentionally insulting Narcissa?
Yes.
And that was just too bad.
She migrated towards the kids coming to the shore, wanting to make sure that first and foremost no one had been injured in the collision with Leion and Wilbur—And to see Kerrigan, Eli, and Jack… Thinking of Alek made her head throb painfully. She didn’t want to believe that he’d gone back to drinking… But Narcissa had no reason to lie.
Cheating, she used her super human hearing to eavesdrop on the two conversations without thought… She could hear them anyway… It was just a matter of determining if something needed taken care of, or what was important. Like she’d told Gideon… She didn’t get a vacation.
Striding by Narcissa’s pretty red haired second, she touched the girl lightly on the shoulder as she passed, a silent apology, before tossing her arm over Eli’s shoulder with a grin—ignoring any pain in her am till later. The new boy might not have been social by nature, but Bella was a born and raised social butterfly. And even with a silly stunt he needed someone in his corner, and she also wanted to show she wasn't upset. He was new... And it took time to learn one's way around. “That was some race, wasn’t it?”
“You really out to set up another, I think Wilbur would like a chance to beat you again…”, she stated cheerfully, giving one of her usual dazzling smiles… She shook her head though, remembering talk of leaving the island. While it was possible for them… They really shouldn’t go so far from the main group. Not with all the rioting on the main land. That was why they’d come to the island in the first place. “This is my first time in Catalina… And there’s a bonfire on the other beach tonight. Lets decide if it really is a drag or not... If you really want to go to the main land, it should really wait till tomorrow… And maybe you can get a group to go with fresh and early.”
A group that she would be going with. She didn’t want to freak them out with the current situation… But mutants were not considered…Kosher, in most places at the moment. So if they wanted to go, she would go. Her ability made her excellent at handling crowds.
She put on her best innocent face and pouted at all of them.
“I want to make s’mores!”

Rawr To someone who was already on edge, catching Sophia's gaze aimed at the water she was sipping wasn't that hard. She could tell she was making the girl a little uncomfortable. It was almost ironic that she remembered thinking the people that didn't eat out when they went out with their friends were...too concerned and now she just couldn't without making herself seem like she had an eating disorder. Wait, scratch that, she had one. It just wasn't her fault. There were just some moments when she wanted to slap whoever in the universe thought it would be funny to give her this power reprocussion.
Shandra spoke quietly towards Sophia. "Why don't you order something? I mean you came here to eat right? I'm pretty sure whoever you're waiting on to order will forgive you for starting if you're hungry."
She was just happy that she had gobbled down fruit not too long before this. Otherwise the tantalizing smell from the area would have been more torture than it already was. The water and lemon was save...usually it took a lot of water for her body to register that there were chemicals that were not H20 added in there.
Shandra smiled lightly as Christian admitted to being surprised over eating a mollusk. If he had honestly wanted something more...western American, it probably would have been easy to get. It just kind of showed how much he just wanted to settle...to go with the flow. Sipping on her water, Shandra lifted her lemon wedge off of the glass. She put it into the water and stuck a straw straight through the thing till she was sipping lemon tinted water.
The waitress went by again, bringing her a fresh glass and lemon wedge. Shandra smiled and nodded, waiting for Antonio to give his customary reaction...but it hadn't come before the girl walked off. So strange...something really must have gotten his goat. It was like all the air had been let out of his balloon.
Once again, she really felt like she had to snap him back to being that upbeat person he was supposed to be. Never mind that she used to wish he'd just keep to himself more...this new version was just creepy.
As Christian finished his attempt at starting a conversation, the red head shifted inn her seat. Bringing up the past made her want to dodge the conversation, her past was not something she liked to repeat...it made her remember and think about more things than she wanted to.
"So you're used to the rain then?" Shandra questioned lightly, looking up from him over her glass, almost in a playful manner. "How is the California sun treating you?"
Never mind that it was fall...and the real brunt of the sun was over for the year.
It was still enough for her to want to get something to swim in so she could dive into the water and feel it all around her. She missed swimming...stupid stitches. So glad they were gone. Almost to the point that she'd forgotten her real reason for prolonging being seen...she wondered if the tailers had actually given up yet.

Omega: New faces
"Vell at least some have manners," Petra commented and smiled in acknowledgment to the new faces who were now popping up like little sand creatures from the earth. She didn't mind. They all seemed friendly and it was good knowing names. After all, she was going to be spending the next however long with them all.
"Hallo, Vallon," She was careful to pronounce people's names after she was introduced not only for practice with their English inflections but so she had them right. Everybody liked the sound of their name being said. That was a fact of life, "I'm Petra. I just offer to take girls to lunch. You are welcome to join." A tiny smirk lined her face when she saw the look he gave towards Madison. Pretty boy has a crush on somebody. Cute.
Jacen came over to them. She smiled thinking he was an interesting sort as well. Of course everybody was interesting at first. She shook his hand and noticed it was a bit clumsy which she found humorous. Having been on a student team for awhile, it really wasn't any wonder when folks had some drawbacks with their powers. She was lucky enough to have a power she could hide when she wanted. The only drawback she ever had was trying to take on more metal than her strength allowed.
"Jacen... Kracken, yes," She had remembered his codename she thought from the paperwork she was given on the flight, "Petra. I am Omega also. Are all new... eh, members power... what is word... show-offs?" She motioned her hand towards Wilbur and Eli.

⌠Ω+M+ε+G+α⌡- Sure hide behind the guy with cracked ribs. "Oh, drat I guess we should just get right to punching each other and using our powers to prank the other randomly then." Leion said jokingly cracking his knuckles after Wilbur clapped him on the back. It was then that the original perpetrator came slinking over as if he was avoiding someone, oh wait of course he was. And there she came, Shandra ducking through the crowd to 'attack' from behind them. "Yo Shandra, nice shot" Leion smirked with a thumbs up referencing her throwing of the glass ball as she walked up. After her little speech Leion spoke up again, "Yeah, you don't want to be on her bad side, you'll get burned; quite literally in fact." It wasn't just the fact that he was an Omega, he wouldn't want to mess with Narcissa even if he was a fully trained X-man with a heat resistant suit. And then the other Alpha apologized, and he sounded serious, that was unexpected usually the apologies are sarcastic and poorly hidden. And now he was offering to show them around the Mainland well that seemed like a good opportunity~ as he was about to agree to go Bella walked over to the group and reminded him about the bonfire. "Oh yeah, the bonfire, attendance is mandatory for Omegas. But I'm all up for heading out tomorrow! That, and s'mores sound pretty good right now." he added the last part sheepishly, his love for sugary foods would of course chose s'mores over tourism any day.

Alpha - Starting New Relationships Having stood there for much to long, at least Matthew had a good view of all that happened. First things he noticed was the group of Omega girls on the beach and took a moment to take that in, before noticing Isabella, his new team leader. Yeah, I shouldn't probably introduce myself first. he thought with a nod to himself, his internal struggle dealt with. Matthew was just about to jog over to say hello, when he saw two people jump out of the helicopter that had recently shown up. Watching as Isabella strode over to them, and slapping one of them, he figured it was best not to interrupt, and took a moment to take another glance around the beach, looking to each of the kids. As he was reaching the final of his scan, he suddenly saw two figures shooting down the beach quickly, and after a few moments, his eyes widened as he saw the wall of sand hit the girls. A bit disguised, Matthew could only think how childish it was have done such a thing, and could only hope they weren't on his team. Although he loved a good laugh now and then, he didn't think this was quite the time to be doing such. In the blink of an eye, he was a bit taken aback as suddenly Isabella was standing among the group of girls, talking with another one(Narcissa) who pulled Isabella aside. Eventually, Narcissa walking in his direction, and back inside, and he could clearly see anger on her face as she walked in. Finally, Matthew decided it might be safe to walk over, as he saw Isabella through an arm around one of the others. "Hope I'm not interrupting?" he said to Isabella "Scott told me you would be my new team leader, and I figured I should come introduce myself at least." he continued, then extended a hand in greeting, a bit of his tattoo visible on his palm and arm. Looking around at the others, he nodded to each of them, he would greet them in more detail eventually, but at the moment, he took in Isabella, trying to get a good feel for his new leader. One of the most evident things, even with the other kids, and the ocean, was her scent, which was a bit stronger than most of the others. Matthew had found that is seemed that the stronger the scent, meant stronger powers with it. Finally, he looked out to the water for a moment, then back to Isabella "I already unpacked and everything, but I didn't know if there was anything I was suppose to do, being new and all, so...is there?" he said feeling kinda sheepish from asking the question so awkwardly.

Alpha: Ordering Dinner Sophia ate easily, smiling to herself at the shock Christian had at actually enjoying something that came from under the water. She did take Shandra’s advice though and eventually ordered, hopefully prompting the others to follow—Well those who were going to order anyway. She choose some chicken based dish with an apricot glaze and steamed broccoli…Nothing on the menu looked at all simple, but at least this was something she could easily identify. While sitting with the others, she had an odd feeling nostalgia... Some things had happened over the past few months that she couldn't easily forget. Between making friends... Complicated friendships... Things that she really didn't understand... She felt a small note of confusion for. It wasn't enough to dampen her mood...But enough to make her reflect... She was quiet as Christian spoke, letting Shandra take the conversation next—Though curiously she only answered his question with more questions. “ Ah’m from the French Quarter…”, Sophia offered up for Antonio and Shandra just incase they didn’t know. “My mother owns an ex-plantation house in the bayou…It was surrounded by mostly swamp…”, she made a face, her finger curling absently in the ends of her hair, her expression changing and softening into fondness. “But it was home…”
“Ah always start thinking ah’m losing my mind when ah start calling the Academy home…”, she went on… Sophia hated any uncomfortable silence, though she really should be used to it—As shy as she could be sometimes. But they weren’t fighting, they weren’t at school—They were having fun. And that was something Sophie knew well how to do. “Would you boys terribly mind if we stopped by a few stores after this?”, Sophia questioned hopefully, her grey eyes bright, alight with happiness and the ease of feeling safe and in good company. She had no knowledge of the unsavory characters that had been following Shandra earlier. In a place this beautiful, she didn’t think there were people that would act untoward… All part of her inherent naïveté. “I do want to try and get a few things…Maybe a few nice outfits.” “Did you forget something at home?”, she asked Shandra a moment later as the waitress came back and brought her another tea, and someone else cleared away the plates from their appetizer. Apparently dinner would be out shortly.

Omega - This Will Be Fun
Carlos after stripping the long stick till it was smooth wood lit a fire using his newer hidden talent out of laziness and time save. He split the stick lengthwise in two then picked up the seashell he purposely chipped to start carving out the center of the halves formign a groove in just two strokes but making it larger with more. Hearing Evie behind him he didn't stop, but thought about it. She'd have more fun out of this, entertainment and dinner was a hard combo unless you were in some ways new to the survival experience. Evie might have gone through training same as everyone, but what he was doing was not part of the lesson plan in the slightest. " Cicadas. That loud rattling sound in the trees you hear. Juicy, nourishing. Hard to pinpoint though. I figure you can do the hunting, better then I can.Too small for me to track with my powers, too small. Plus that sound from every direction as loud as it is."
He picked up a wrapped around leafe and opened it up taking a gooey sumbstance from it and applying it to the equally grooved stick halves. Then stuck them together and carefully roasted the entire thing over the fire. " I have bullseyed more then twenty in my life time. they are really good. plump. Especially the female ones. kinda like eating shellfish, with more crunch. I'm sure you can find them faster then I can." He pulled his hollowed stick from the fire and blew on it, finding the shredded remains of his discarded shirt and making a wrap for one end. He took little pieces along with sinew from some plants and used a piece of the dry palm leaf he dragged everything on. He seemed to fiddle with everything for a moment before he turned to Evie.
Hoping to surprise her and not have her react badly he brought the stick to his mouth and with a quick puff a dart was in the door frame near Evie's hand. A blowgun, made from scratch and in ten minutes. He faked his best smirk and offered it to Evie. He was going to prepare more darts, let her do the hunting. He could get to fishing and climbing for fruits if any. " god forbid, we make the all mighty V do anything boring." was all he said waiting for her to take the blow gun. As simple and obvious a weapon it was he wouldn't need to explain it. and he was sure her aim was better then any novice. She wanted to help.

Omega - Being Observed
Christian smirked when Shandra mentioned the fact that where he grew up was known as the rain capitol of the United States. “Love the rain, but I truly enjoy the winters more,” he said as he finished up what was on his plate. “The sun isn’t horrible. Kind of refreshin’, if anythin’.” When he finished speaking, he took a drink from his glass of water to wash the remnants of whatever he had just ate down.
When the order was taken, Christian didn’t want to upset his stomach and chose to eat another seafood dish, this time something he had tried before; salmon. While sitting there, waiting for his entrée, he listened to Sophia speak up. He offered a smile of reassurance when she spoke up about quote, unquote losing her mind. He knew pretty much what she meant by that, himself having lived in one place for his whole life before it grew to be askew by the onset of his particular mutation.
“It is what it is, right?,” he asked the group, before Sofie continued speaking. “For all intents and purposes… the Academy is our home anymore.” Just saying that made him feel more at ease about being away from his hometown. He hadn’t been away for more than two years, and the more time spent away from his family, the more he realized what had happened was for the best. If he wouldn’t have been found out, he was quite assured that his family would be constantly pressured by outside influences. Influences he knew would probably be because of him and his mutation. In some way, that was the only thing he truly cared about; keeping his family safe.
He sighed softly to himself while thinking about his family, realizing he really hadn’t spoken to any of them in a long time. That was something he was going to rectify whenever it was they got back to New York. Christian’s thoughts were taken back by a random question that Sophia threw out there. “Ain’t got a problem with that,” he said, noting the change in her expression. “Still gotta look for somethin’ myself.”
The conversation continued for a few moments before Christian stood from the table and excused himself briefly. When he stood, he could feel a few sets of eyes on him. That feeling was definitely eerie, but one he was used to somewhat. There was never a time when he hunted when he was being watched by something in the wilderness. Cautiously, he wormed his way around the table before ducking inside momentarily.
A few moments passed and he was walking through the throngs of people back towards the patio towards where his friends sat. While heading back to where everyone was, he looked across the way and saw a group of rather unsavory characters looking their way…? Odd.., Christian thought to himself as he wormed his way again back around to his seat. He wouldn’t say a word though, he didn’t want anyone else to worry, besides, that wasn’t the point of being on this island. Being here was about relaxing and having a good time. That was something they had earned.
“Sorry ‘bout that,” Christian said as he took his seat again. “Did I miss anythin’ exciting?”

Town - Cat's been Seen As Christian stood up, Shandra paid attention from the side of her eye, giving him as much attention as she could without taking it away from the table itself. Element of surprise was a precarious thing...something to be taken care of till it was needed the most. This wasn't exactly the relaxing place brochures made it out to be, but for all intents and purpose they shouldn't have been able to attract negative attention this quickly.
Except for the fact that Antonio had destroyed an orange stand of course...and bought all the oranges...
It was honestly looking like a more personal thing the more she thought about it than an x-men thing, but honestly...those lines were so blurry now a day.
The waitress brought out their food, looking almost puzzled at Shandra herself but the redhead didn't make a jester or otherwise. She knew that question - the girl was probably wondering if there had been a mistake in the kitchen or a delay or something. But just as she left Christian came back, and Shandra recognized the look in his eyes and over his entire being. He knew they were being followed and watched.
"Not really," Shandra replied, the older omega leaning casually in her chair. "The food was brought here though...obviously."
She sipped on the cold water, her eyes staring up at nothing for a moment as though thinking something over. She was actually, though it probably wasn't as random as some people would assume. She was thinking back over all the places they'd past, all the different stores. How many of them were open store formats...how many of them had areas where they could use it to their advantage to not be found out as mutants.
Sophia could, possibly, be helpful...but that would involve letting the girl know in advance. Antonio could easily increase anything Sophia put into motion. She herself could more than easily do something without being scene...or moving from her spot but hers got a little blanket of destruction deal. And Christian...she didn't know if they had any fuel for him and how well he'd do with only one hand and the other one being a liability.
As everyone ate their dinner, Shandra sat quietly and only murmured polite responses when needed. The things she answered were of course not personally, she was glad that most of that conversation had been diverted by Christian getting up and returning earlier. The meal drew to a close, but she could still feel the...feeling of being watched.
These people were in for the hunt apparently, the long wait. Whatever they were going to want...it was going to suck to be them. They had definitely picked the wrong "tourist" group to stalk. But...just to pacify the need to know if they were actually just staring at them to make them uncomfortable or if they planned to do something...they needed more time out in the open.
"What do you say to walking around for a bit between shops?" Shandra questioned lightly as their dishes were taken away. "Maybe we'll see something we need or forgot we left while we see the town a bit?"
Her smile was natural as she stood up, tone earnest. She honestly did just want to see around, she wasn't good at settling right off the bat on any one thing, but having another set of motives didn't mean she didn't just want to walk.
"I mean...I know you want things for the summer Sophia, and you wanted something too right Christian? -- I know I wanted to get a swimsuit since I left mine behind, but who knows what we'll find right?" She cast her eyes over to Christian, the look more than casual. "I mean...we might find something out that we didn't know about."

Omega: Going to Descanso Beach Narcissa moved up the staircase smoothly and out of sight—Without a word to anyone around her. She didn’t expect Kerrigan to follow, or anyone else, nor did she need them to. Cissa had been trapped, for what felt like forever in darkness… Watching the herself do things, say things, feeling things that she couldn’t stop. She wasn’t about to start letting a few children start pulling her apart at the seams. She was sick of being the damaged Solaris… She wanted everything to be as it was. Starting with the simple fact that the sun goddess needed no one. She had gotten too complacent… Too trusting. She snarled at herself in the mirror as she slammed her bedroom door shut… Letting Isabella Stone get to her like this, did not happen. She was mad as hell… But not at the stupid Alpha’s. That anger had already cooled… She was furious with herself again. The bombshell blond stripped neatly and got into the shower, wanting to get all the sand off of herself and out of her hair. It took awhile, but after a time, she couldn’t feel the itchy little grains anymore on her scalp. Once out of the shower she let light roll through her body, and the heat caused the water to evaporate on her skin and hair. She dressed methodically… One thing after the next. She rather loathed that they were on a beach. Not for any particular reason, other than that she couldn’t wear high heels…They only sank in the sand. So she had to make do with things like boots, and very styled Grecian flip flops. For this particular outfit, she went with a pair of black boots that laced up her knees to knees, and a gold and black lace brocade corset over matching mini-skirt made of the same material. It seemed warm, for the weather, but Narcissa didn’t actually feel temperature as everyone else did. It either had to be extremely hot or extremely cold… Looking at herself in the mirror, her still short cropped hair settled easily about her face, some of the natural wave it had showing. She re-applied the make up she usually wore, wearing the bare minimum. Thankfully she was pretty enough on her own that she didn’t need much. Her thoughts were a swirl of things…Of problems. She simply wanted to be herself. Wanted to be the woman that she was before this mess. Her eyes closed as she sat on the edge of bed… The soft wind blowing her curtains tousled her hair… Could she repair herself? The answer came to her quickly, so easily that it surprised her. Yes. She could—And she would. She had to. Her credit card, ID, and some cash tucked into a hidden pocket on her skirt, she left her room… There was about an hour of time until the bonfire over on the other beach. She’d read about it in the travel guide. Loud music, lots of people, it sounded like her kind of party. She used to love a good party…Now the thought of people being around her made her stomach churn. That would have to change. The mansion was on South Beach… The bonfire was at Descanso, where all the shopping area’s were. Pressing her comm she signaled Kerrigan’s, speaking into her wrist, “I’m heading into town… See you at the fire.”

Omega:Catalina - At least thick skulls can protect from impact... Kerrigan jumped slightly when she heard the booming voice of the muscle-bound Jack come up behind her, though she could not help but break into a grin when she heard him take her side. It was almost a little concerning that he was supporting her on something considering their "relationship" over the last few weeks consisted of him saying or doing whatever he could to get under her skin. For what it was worth, he was very good at it, which made this moment of kindness all the more enjoyable. For a moment, she thought that having the support of someone else might actually get through to the new guy, who was looking at the sand and poking it with an exposed toe. For a brief instant, she thought that she might have been a little harsh considering the circumstances, but she was glad that he decided to own up and take responsibility for his actions. " Well, I appreciate your willingness to accept responsibility for your admittedly stupid actions," she said with a small smile, her gaze on the new students significantly softening as she tossed her drying red hair over her shoulders. However, as he continued, her gaze hardened once more, the redhead releasing a soft sigh, though it was mostly in an attempt to keep control over her temper. While most people in the Academy had never seen her bad side, she was a redhead, and it was true that they had one heck of a temper. Thing was, Kerrigan had the powers to cause severe pain if pushed too far. " Well, Eli, we don't demand anyone bow to us. We just demand respect from people that don't even know who we are or anything else about us. I know nothing about you, but I don't go around throwing sand in your face," she said with an equal coldness in her voice, her arms crossing over her chest. Something about Narcissa's mood must be starting to rub off on her - she was finding it more and more difficult not to throttle him here and now. Thankfully, before a throwdown could occur, Bella approached the group, touching her lightly on her shoulder as she passed. The redhead caught the brief glimpse of the red on her arm, knowing immediately what happened without having to see the incident. " As exciting as the mainland sounds, Cissa requested the Omegas to make an appearance at the barbecue tonight. We'll see all of you there," she said simply, her eyes inadvertently lingering on Jack before using it as an excuse to leave the conversation. She knew that going after Cissa would do little good, but she also had a feeling that if she lingered around the new guy she would do or say something that she would regret later. Right now, she should distract herself with trying to plan the best ensemble from her available wardrobe that would stop a certain someone in their tracks.
