She stopped abruptly halfway through, suddenly fully remembering the subway conversation. "Ooh!! Ooh!! It was you! And Strong! " the girl gasped, still having a horrid memory for names. She leaned forward towards Vegas, now on her knees and a hand, the other hand pointing at Vegas. She had a habit of pointing even if there was no real reason for it. Now that she remembered it, it was likely she wouldn't be easily dropping the topic. ▁ ▂ ▃ ▅ ▆ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▃ ▂ ▁

'Shoot me in the head.' she grimaced with her face still hidden.

fillerfillerfillerfiller❀ Vegas felt like getting up and climbing to the highest point of the tree they were sitting under to avoid the conversation but she was too lazy to get up and actually do it. So, she remained as still as a statue and waited for Noelani to continue on with whatever.

And of course, as anyone who had spent over 10 seconds with her would know, she had made that up. "So, so? Have you confessed your love? Ne, ne, ne????" She pushed on the topic as much as she possibly could without realizing it. You could definitely tell how curious she was by the extra "ne". But, before letting Vegas (most likely) snap at her, she continued on a slightly different train of thought. "Hmmm.. what kind of name is 'Strength' anyway? I doubt it's in baby books! Or maybe it is! I wonder if it is~ But why would it be a name at all? isn't it more of a power? It just doesn't make sense to me! How Confusing!" the idiot rambled. She probably could have gone on for longer (much, much longer) except she still hadn't mastered the whole 'breathing between words' concept. She sort of bounced again, eager for an answer to all of her various questions. ▁ ▂ ▃ ▅ ▆ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▃ ▂ ▁

Sukyo stretched and started to fall asleep, he liked the new concept of sleeping and dreaming, it didn't take long for him to pass out.

fillerfillerfillerfiller❀ Vegas sighed, "I can't confess a love that doesn't exist!" she hadn't meant to completely snap, but she hoped that Noelani wouldn't get upset because she was just beginning to learn how to tolerate the blonde. The pinkette wouldn't admit it but she had a small crush on her roommate, nothing too big and she probably wouldn't even pursue it, hell no, not happening.
fillerfillerfillerfiller❀ Vegas sighed, the name Strength was bizarre but it probably meant a lot to the person who named him whereas Vegas was an utterly odd name that held no significance. "It may be a bizarre name, but it must have some sort of significance to the person who gave him that name," she stated calmly, wondering how Noelani could talk so much.

╚══════════════════════════════════════════╝ ❥✦ Noelani blinked back at the remark. Her eyes deepened for a moment. If I keep going she actually won't like him instead of just denying it. Her normal self bubbled up to the surface again though as she finished her thoughts out loud, "And that would be bad, ne?" she giggled. ❥✦ Noelani thought for a moment after Vegas finished speaking. "Hmm... I wonder what the significance is, though! I mean is it like it was a cool sounding name or is there a big story for it? Ooooh~ I like stories! When I was little my mo-"Her voice caught a little as she stopped herself mid-word. Quickly, though, she started right back up again. "Nanny used to tell me this one story all the time! You wanna hear it? Ok, so it starts off with this one girl named Silvylocks... The blonde shot off into the story of GoldyLocks, derailing herself from the topic. ❥✦ Finally, after completely mangling the plot of the fairy tale, she ended with "Hmmmm~ you should ask him about it sometime!" The girl also turned to their sleeping company and put a finger to her lips. "Sorry~" she whispered. ▁ ▂ ▃ ▅ ▆ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▃ ▂ ▁

Vegas asked, sitting up right and leaning against the tree, she wanted to apologize to Noelani for shouting at her but didn't, instead she mustered up the courage to smile at the blonde. Even though the blonde was eccentric, bubbly and on the annoying side, she wasn't all that bad, the pinkette was sure she would grow accustomed to her with time.
fillerfillerfillerfiller❀ Vegas ran a hand through her hair, noting the fact that Noelani's voice hitched and how she stopped the word mom and changed to nanny. Deciding to shut up and listen to her blonde companion butcher Goldilocks, she reminded herself to ask Noelani's about it later. Maybe there was someone who could relate to her. "I guess, would he mind if I asked?" she wondered aloud, "Oh, and sorry, Sukyo."

╚══════════════════════════════════════════╝ ❥✦ Noelani laughed and smiled back at Vegas. She was already long over the brief harshness from before. She was glad that it seemed like she and the girl were becoming friends.
She thought for a moment about the question asked. He probably would from her - but not from the girl sitting near her. "I don't think so!" The young girl said in a voice that made her words dance. The tone in her voice bounced for each word. ❥✦ Like always, Noelani had been bobbing back and forth, at least until the last question was spoken. The girl stopped moving, almost freezing in her path. Her head was set at a tilt, looking away from Vegas. "Ng." was the only small noise that she made. She was thinking, unbelievable as it is. She let out a breath and turned the head back to Vegas, smiling with her eyes closed happily. "Because I was talking about my Nanny, not my mom! I just made a mistake talking!" Sadly, the girl hadn't been born as a good liar. She turned to the sound of the music, listening. A wisp of a smile played on her lips. Did she want to talk about this or not? She couldn't decide. ▁ ▂ ▃ ▅ ▆ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▃ ▂ ▁

Sukyo shot up fro his dream, "Cookies!" He rubbed his eyes. "Man...stupid dreams." He stood up and stretched. The sun was almost completely down, he watched it. "Beautiful...just gorgeous..." He sat back down and watched silently.

fillerfillerfillerfiller❀ "Then I guess I will ask," Vegas decided, smiling genuinely, glad that she got to bump into Noelani again, the girl was pretty easy-going and didn't get upset when the pinkette yelled, seemed like she could be around for a while. She put her hands behind her head and yawned, happy that the 'admit it, you love him' conversation had once again been dropped.
fillerfillerfillerfiller❀ Vegas' curiosity peaked, Noelani was a horrible liar, she could see right through the girl and she would bet good money that anyone could. "... My mom left me when I was eleven." she stated, her voice cracking the slightest bit but she stared off into the distance, arching her eyebrow at Sukyo while waiting for Noelani to respond. There was a part of her that couldn't believe she had said it out loud, she had never been able to say it.

Sukyo's eyes widened, he quickly moved to the side as a bullet slammed into the ground where he once was, "What the hell is this?!" His eyes started to turn red. "I'll be back girls, please continue your conversation." He moved again and another bullet hit the ground where he just was. He started to get mad, he started changing again into his warrior form. He took out his sword and sliced the incoming bullets in half. "Girls please get behind cover. I'll handle this..." He had a smirk of death on his face, his old state of mind was coming back to him.

╚══════════════════════════════════════════╝ ❥✦Noelani look to Vegas, surprised to hear what she had said. "O-oh. . . still, she was with you for 11 years... " She said quietly. With her mother being royal and all, Noelani had hardly ever seen her. Her nanny might as well have been her mother. It was also pretty obvious (even to Noelani) that when her parents conceived, they had been hoping for another boy, incase he needed to take throne for some reason. ❥✦ She was thankful for the distraction, even if it was from flying bullets. Noelani jumped to her feet, full of life once again. "Uwah! What's happening?" she loudly asked, grabbing Vegas by the arm and pulling her to her feet and around to the other side of the tree. ▁ ▂ ▃ ▅ ▆ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▃ ▂ ▁
