Nero nodded slowly and looked out the window. He didn't know whether or not he wanted any part of it. "Yeah... It's two weeks from tomorrow." He said softly.

She tipped her head to the side. "You don't have to fight, it is optional. It wouldn't be a good idea since you want to go to college."

He looked at her for a moment. "True, but at least it would be a chance to prove myself. Let's just say that nobody you've gone after so far has matured any."

He laughed with her for a moment and nodded. "Maybe I'll give it a shot, just for the hell of it."

Alina stopped laughing. "You should never do anything just for the hell of it Nero. You have all your life to prove yourself." Their waiter came then with their desserts. Alina picked up her fork and took a bit of her cake. "Mmm, this is sooo good. I missed chocolate. I went through withdrawal when I realized I wouldn't be able to have chocolate."

Nero studied her for a moment and sighed. "You're probably right, but I'm stubborn." He shrugged and started to eat his cake. "This is good." He chuckled softly. "You must have gone through quite a few withdrawal's."

She thought for a moment. "Not as many as you would think. Chocolate and pizza were the big ones." Alina finished her dessert rather fast and sat back looking around at the people. "There seem to be more people now."

Nero cocked his head to the side after taking a bite. "What do you mean?" He asked, not sure whether she meant at the club or in the town.

"Oh, I meant in the town. It was much smaller before...is there a reason for the increase?" Getting some information on the town would help her in the long run.

"Yeah. A few months after you left there was another lycan town that had been caught in a huge forest fire. Some how they heard about our town and were seeking refuge. The elders weren't very keen on the idea for some time but everything seems to have worked out now." He explained to her.

Aline frowned. That was an odd thing for the elders to do, they weren't very trusting of other packs. "Are they allowing the other pack to take part in the test?"

Nero shook his head. "No. The other pack is only staying for another two months or so. They've been sending out scouts to try and find a new area where they can start over. Elders want them out of here as soon as possible." He said softly. "But the other pack understands that this test is for our pack only."

"That's good. I'm not sure if mixing packs would be a good thing, to many Alpha male wannabes running around." One less thing she had to worry about.
