" Not really...I just came out here to enjoy the scenery," she simply replied. " There seems to be many peaceful places around here...but I'm used to being in a forest...as long as there aren't any other creatures lurking around in an attempt to have me for dinner."  Akyo appear out in the middle of the area when a gust of wind happen...she was standing there a looking around a bit and the made her way over to the nearest tree...she sat down under it and look up at the sky..."Ah, at lest today is a nice day."She lightly said as she put her hands behind her head at that moment..

While she relaxed, Sam took an envelope out of her pocket and opened it to pull out the piece of paper inside, reading the letter given to her three weeks ago... Dear Miss Graystone: I believe you'll be attending school soon; therefore I am inviting you to attend Fuyu Academy for the Magically Inclined. Although this is a high school for those deemed to have special abilities, all humans and non humans are welcomed here. As for registration, it will take about two weeks for the school to reply to your request due to the heavy number of applications being sent to the school, yet it will be worth the wait. I suppose you are wondering who is writing this letter to you. I apologize if this is very hard for you to believe; however, I confess that I am the one who saved you eleven years ago from the burning house, and from the vampire that killed your parents and attempted to take your life as well. Furthermore, I apologize for not being able to contact you during those eleven years after the incident. Unfortunately, I was unable to locate you until I tracked down the location of my mother's necklace. I assume you have many questions you wish to ask, yet the only way for me to answer them is for you to attend the Academy. Speaking of the Academy, I am currently one of the teachers within the Arts and Music Department. I hope that you will attend my class this coming year, and I wish to finally meet you once again. Sincerely, Mr. Kain Hughes After folding the paper once more and shoving it back inside the envelope, Sam leaned back against the tree with a sigh. " Is this for real? After all these years, do I finally get the chance to meet him?" she whispered to herself, even though it was slightly loud enough for Feranes to hear her. "Don't fall away and leave me to myself

After waiting so long, I can meet her again...
Kain walked into the forest calmly. He looked as if he was coming home; carrying a slightly tattered book, and a very relaxed mood. He was just about to sit down when he heard a voice ring in his ear. He had gone into the forest just in time to hear the last few sentences of the letter Samantha was reading. Immediately he followed the echo to where he thought he had heard the voice from. He rose his eyes to see her as he came out of the brush. His eyes followed her hair as it lightly blew in the wind. "That brown hair... could it really be her?" he thought to himself as he watched her.
...but will her feelings be the same as mine?

After shoving the letter back in her pocket, Sam puled out a necklace, holding it up to the moonlight to get a better look at the gem. " He'd better be at this school," she muttered to herself before glancing back at Feranes. He's been awfully quiet for a while, Sam thought, deciding to finally stand up and walk over to the blonde-haired elf. " Hey, Feranes... are you still awake or do you need me to carry you back to your dorm?" she asked while she poked Feranes' head a couple of times. "Don't fall away and leave me to myself

The first few pokes, Feranes was caught off-guard. The final one, he reacted quickly by catching Sam's hand in his own. Slowly, he looked to her.
"I am awake, and I would prefer to stay outside. I do not need a dorm room," he said softly.

Kain saw her take the necklace out and his eyes immediately widened, but a smile came on his face afterward. "It is her." he thought to himself. Then he began walking toward them again, passing through some more bushes before coming upon them, "Hello young lady, young man. What might you two be doing out here in the forest at night?" he asked them curiously.
...but will her feelings be the same as mine?

The slightly surprised look on Sam's face showed that wasn't expecting it to happen. Furthermore, she expected Feranes to yell at her; however, he simply looked at her and said he didn't need a dorm room. " Wait...you don't need a dorm room at all?" she asked, having not removed her hand yet. " But what if someone tries to rob you....or kill you? Considering the current time of night, there's a strong possibility of that happening." The night sky seemed to prove Sam's statement due to the clear starlit sky and the moon shining overhead. Still facing Feranes, she added, " Furthermore, you said that you're not able to perform magic, so how will you be able to defend yourself?" However, Sam was not able to get a reply from Feranes due to a brown-haired man walking out of the bushes towards the two. She glanced at the stranger after he had asked his question, replying, " We should be asking you the same question." At the same time, Sam's freed hand began hovering near one of the silver pistols on the side of her belt, ready in case the stranger attempted to harm either her or Feranes. Feranes let go of Sam's hand and looked to Kain. " 'Young man'? Child, you do not know who you speak to. I am Feranes, Champion of the Elders, which are a race of gods. And while I may look as though I am in my twenties..." he continued, slowly standing up, "I am over 10,000 years old. Once you have lived for that long, you learn how to defend yourself in all kinds of ways."

Kain smiled and chuckled a bit, "That is quite true, I sort of seem like the creeper here. Forgive me for the sudden interruption." he said with a smile. Then he gave them a small bow, "I'm a teacher at the Fuyu Academy. I saw you two out here alone so I came over to make sure you two were safe... and..." he said as he opened the book he was carrying and flipped through it quickly. "...I believe that you're an arts and music student." he said to Samantha. "I haven't gotten any students to stop by yet, would you like to come some time? It's the Choir class."
...but will her feelings be the same as mine?

" Hold up...Champion of the Elders, I could understand...but now you tell me that these Elders...are a race of gods in your universe?!" she nearly shouted, trying to hold onto one of the trees to support herself. " And you're...over ten thousand years old?!" However, there was even more news for Sam as the stranger said that she was one of the students in his Choir class. " Choir? ...Me?" Considering the amount of information her brain was attempting to process, Sam finally lost her grip on the tree as fainted, causing her to fall to the ground. "Don't fall away and leave me to myself

Feranes smoothly caught Sam with one arm, and frowned. "Perhaps... I should have not broken the news so quickly..." he said with a slight smile on his face.

Kain quickly put his arm under Samantha, at the same time as Feranes. "Perhaps me as well... but that is quite the experience. If what you say is correct, I'm in the presence of a God. I hope you'll forgive me for being so rude as to not introduce myself, I am Kain Hughes." he said to him. Then he took his outer shirt off and laid it on the ground as a pillow while he softly laid Samantha there. "We should probably let her rest here for a bit. It is nice meeting you though, what might your name be?" he asked with a soft smile as he extended his hand for a handshake.

Feranes grasped Kain's hand firmly with his own. "As I said, I am Feranes. Champion of the Elders where I come from," he said, looking Kain in the eye. "It is a pleasure to meet one as polite as you, Kain Hughes."
