{I totally agree with you on both counts, Penance. You need pants, and Lost is one of the best shows period.}
"I suppose I'll see you all later. Later being when my uniform's not clinging to me," Morgan says, bowing, then backing up into the shadows of a corner and "disappearing". He reappears in his darkened room. He prefered to keep the light out when he wasn't there, as it allowed for easier access by him.
"Man, these things are clingy," he said as he peeled off his uniform. He rummaged through his dresser, and pulled out his favourite t-shirt (which read "You say psycho like it's a bad thing" on the front) and jeans, and laid them out on his bed. He then grabbed a towel, and shadow-hopped (teleported through shadows) down to the boy's locker room.
"That feels sooooo much better," Morgan muttered as he stepped under the showers and turned them up as hot as he could stand. Which was pretty high.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After making sure that he'd gotten all the metal fragments out of his hair, he turned off the shower, and stepped out, wrapping his towel around his waist. He quickly 'ported himself back to his room, dried himself off, and change into the clothing he'd laid out before. He opened the door to his room, a bit of light flooding in from the hallway, stepped out, and closed it behind him.

OOC: Look, I have pants. I have to find something that matches teh Gung Xi top... the pants that go with it are ugly. Did you watch Lost tonight Moren? It was really good.
IC:
"Can I speak with Dawn?" Penny said into the receiver as the maid picked up the phone, "Ms. Romero, you odn't have to tell my father. Dawn would want to talk to me. I am not the spawn of el diablo. I've been nothing but nice to you!"
"Dammit," Penny slammed the phone down. She just needed to maek sure her sisters were okay with her jerk of a father. What if they were mutants and nobody was there to look out for them?
Penny brushed her hair down and it flipped under in long and straight layers. The water glistened silver off of the overhead light. She put on lavender shimmery eye shadow and lined her eyes with a dark blue liner. The shirt she pulled on was nothing fancy, just a grey tank with a blue japanese dragon imprinted on it. Jeans came down below her navel and had random rips in the legs. After lacing up her boots, she took a half glance in the mirror and left.
She climbed onto the railing of the landing above the main foyer and balance beamed acrossed it.
"Thrill seeking again?" Logan said looking up from the bottom floor.
"I have unlimited adreneline that needs burned," Penny wanted to jump from the rail but couldn't calculate a safe landing.
"Come do something constructive. Start a fire," He walked out the door.
She walked to the railing of the stairs and curled her toes around it to slide down. Penny was out the door to start the grill.

Maybe I will fit in here after all. Nodding his head slightly he continued to look around, overwhelmed by the size of the place he just continued to stare. Or then again, the way I keep watching everything they may just think me a spy..yeah right.
He stepped out into the garden, not wanting to go wandering around and into rooms he probably shouldn't and took a quick look around. He probably could get rid of the coat, just like Jamie had said. Shrugging he wriggled out of the coat and stood their just looking around with the coat in his arms.
"So much sunshine..I knew I shouldn't of been born in England."

"It's not always this sunny," Penny replied to the offhand comment Matt made while standing in the garden, "Otherwise I'd be toast."
She walked around to the side of the house where there was a large patio. Some of the teachers and other folk had started to move around picnic tables and start getting together food for the cook out. Penny grabbed a bag of charcoal and a lighter and headed towards the grills.
"So how'd you do it?" Scott Summers came up to her as she was starting to make the fires.
Penny knew what he was talking about. He knew her well enough to know that she was the first suspect when things went awry lately, "No idea what you're talking about, Summers."
Scott stiffled a laugh but she knew he was pissed that there was a joke played on him, "Yea, I bet. Just watch it."
"Summers, you keep talkin' like that and people are going to think you're paranoid," Penny smiled not giving away any of her cards. He was a pretty boy and she didn't respect any of his authority.

OOC: I guess it would be bad if we starting going on about lost in OOCs... but did you notice Hurley on the TV that the girl was watching? I love how characters cross each other's paths.

{No, I hadn't noticed. But I figured that they all had something in common before the plane crash. And I think that bald guy, y'know with the scar on his face, (you know which one I'm talking about) knows a lot more about this whole thing than he lets on.}

{By the way, are you watching CSI tonight?}
"Did someone say paranoid?" Morgan said, materializing right in front of Scott as he turned around (we'll say he was in the shade, okay?). "Yah! Don't do that!" he said in surprise (Hey, having someone appear right in front of you like that would startle anyone). "But it's sooo much fun!" Morgan replied, smirking. "I don't care if it's fun. Stop it!" Scott retorted, obviously irritatated.

Matt laughed as he walked around the garden, listening to what was being said but only paying attention enough to know that something had happened to this Scott guy and it seemed to be Penny's fault.
"Like a big family they are, getting on each others nerves."

OOC: Yes, I'm a CSI whore too. smile Oh yea, Locke knows alot more than he leads on... I heart Lost.
IC:
"Scott, why don't you go get a cold one. You look like you need it," Penny shooed him away before something blew way out of control. Scott was fun to torement, but it would do no good to make a real enemy.
She nodded towards Matt, "Yea, a big disfunctional family."
He looked confused for a second and then she pointed to her ears to signal that she could hear more than the average human, "Can I ask you both about your powers or do you not like talking about them? I just like to know those I'm around."

Jamie stepped out of the shower. He'd gone off to get that out of the way when Matt had gone outside. He went outside to hear Penny asking Matt about his power. "Yeah, I'd kinda like to know a bit too." He said, shaking some water out of his hair.

OOC: What is this? MORE x-men posts than brotherhood? *gets whip* Get those slackers!!! twisted
IC: Wanda growled at the blood on her outfit. It was going to be hard to get it off. She glared at Jacen a bit but since he apologized, she decided she wouldn't throw him into the fire. She started to look for Pietro but didn't saw him anywhere.
The cloaked figure touched Wanda's arm. Wanda turned around and glared at her. "So those are the people you wanted me to meet? Those puppets of my father? And my brother!? What the hell were you thinking?!"
"Here might not be the best place to talk about such things. The police is coming and if we don't want to get caught, we better go home."
Wanda clunched her fists. She knew she was right. But she wanted answers. "You better give me the answers I want once we're home."
And before any brotherhood member could say anything, Wanda and the mysterious figure left.

He blinked a few times, unused to the question but more used to hiding what he really was. Shrugging slightly he nodded and pointed over his back to his wings.
"Those are self explanetory really, I was born with them and as I grew they did too. As far as I can tell they are linked to my skeleton but without x-rays I can't be sure and asking a doctor to x-ray my wings seemed like stepping into a fire."
Nodding once again he turned his hand around, his palm facing upwards, and frowned slightly as he concentrated. A golden ball appeared in his hand then shrunk and twisted, finally changing into a big-headed scott with a small body, its mouth opening and closing.
"This has something to do with the sunlight..its like my body is a battery or something, it absorbs natural light and changes it into some form of a more solid energy to be used however I can imagine but it has its draw backs..once tried making a gun with it after seeing a film and it failed miserably. Snowboards, swords, anything not tehcnical that I can imagine I'm ok with."
Feeling as if he had spoke enough to last a life time he let the caricature of Scott dissappear, crossing his arms and watching both Penny and Jamie for a reaction.

"That's pretty cool actually," Penny smiled, "Although, I don't have to live with it so I shouldn't speak. You and Jamie seem to have something in common in dealing with light."
She looked back at the grill she was attempting to start, "I apologize if I am asking too much. I just like to know people."
"What about you, Penny? You don't say much," Rogue came up and tossed her lightered fluid.
[OOC: I feel bad making you guys speak when I get long winded, so don't mind me throwing in an NPC there to make them speak]
"I say what I need to say," Penny grinned, "Well, I guess it's only fair. Honestly, I'm a little of a lot of things. All of my sensory skills are heightened, more agile, more durable, a little stronger and a little faster than a normal person. I've learned that I can adapt well to other's fighting skills and can learn them easily. A lot of what I can do is from training here on and off for four years. I kick a** with a sword and since my mother was a telepath, I've learned to block my head."
"Anything else, Wonder Woman?" Rogue jested.
"Don't make fun, Rogue. I let you leach off me."
"Fair enough."
Penny stopped for a moment. This whole thing was odd. How in one week did she actually start caring about people? Last week she wouldn't have been in this group engaging a conversation. She wouldn't have cared. Was this Xavier's master plan for her?
"Anybody play basketball or something like that?" Penny asked when Logan shooed her away from the now started grills.
OOC: Yea, hell must be freezing over. The X-Men are on a posting frenzy smile j/k

Jacen was already a good few hundred feet away from the group when they finally decided to disperse. He was tired, hungry, and in need of some gauze due to the wound on his hand. It didn't hurt him much at all. He had dealt with harsher pains than this. This was but a scratch. While looking at his wound, he kept walking down the road.
As he was walking, he heard a copious amount of sirens headed his way. In quick succession, police car after police car, followed by a fire truck zoomed past Jacen as he kept on his way. Maybe one or two of the officers glanced at him, but they paid no mind. That was for the better, or so Jacen thought. He didn't want to get taken down today. Not while he felt like hell, and not while he couldn't put up a fight.
Before he realized it, Jacen was back at the Brotherhood hovel and entering it blindly. This is where Magneto wanted him to be at, if anything to try and help stablize this group. Granted, Pietro had solid leadership over the group, but sometimes he just seemed to stray from the path set in front of him. That's why Pyro and himself were there. To keep everyone focused on the goal: to one day rule over the flatscans and attain their rightful place at the top of the foodchain. As he walked in, he got his first really good look at the house, or maybe he just plain ignored it last time he entered, but the place was a wreck. "How anyone can live like this...," Jacen trailed off as he trudged upstairs for a minute.
When he got to his room, he closed the door behind him and took a seat on his musty, prison-like bed. Not that it was a problem. It beat sleeping on the floor like a dog. It was almost as if Jacen wasn't allowed to rest because as soon as he lay his head down, he heard a loud chirp. He knew what it was, it was someone trying to contact him via his earpiece. With a grumble, Jacen sat up, took the reciever/microphone from his uniform, and put it up to his ear.
"Scion. Tell me, have they arrived?" It was Magneto, contacting Jacen alot earlier than he anticipated.
"Who? Pyro and your daughter? Yes, they have."
"Good. I trust that everything is under control?"
"Of course it is, my lord." There was a hesitation in Jacen's voice for a second before he continued, "Aside from Wanda trying to kill Pietro." Jacen couldn't see Magneto, but he could imagine the glare he had on his face as he said that.
"Keep her from killing him. And keep your eyes and ears peeled. As I told Pyro, Mystique is making a move soon, although I do not know what it is." The line fell silent for a second. "One more thing, did you manage to run into any of Xavier's brats?"
"I wouldn't know," Jacen replied, "Although I ran into someone today that took umbrage with me. She, from what I could tell, is a mutant."
"I do have files on them, Scion," Magneto said sternly, "Tomorrow when you are in your computer class, I will have one of my minions wire you the files."
"Yes, my lord," Jacen replied. Then the line went dead. For a moment, Jacen sat there just wondering who would show up on the files. Would that short blonde be there? Was she one of Xavier's sheep? He didn't know why, but she perplexed him. Someone of her stature challenging him, and he stepped away from it.
The next time we meet, he thought, will be very different
