::the look on Myou's face was very serious now as she looked each student in the face. Her smile had slipped and she made no effort at all to remove it. It disturbed her that the young ones were thinking already of death and killing. Though it sometimes became required in a mission, when defending oneself, she did not want them jaded to the subject. Those who became jaded became trouble, and a country with unfeeling shinobi was not a good country at all::

Is there anything that you would like to work on first?

"I need to work on chakra control... And I need some opinions on some custom jutsus I've made." He looked at Myou, observing her mannerisms. Myou was down to the point and has a happy view on life as a shinobi. She was, in essence, the perfect type of person for guiding the future Kusakage into becoming a superior ninja.. And it made the Gennin slightly depressed. He was simply along for the ride and most probably just there to protect the future kage from harm. And, to avoid a spoiled genius ninja fiasco, he may have been placed with Kaeda to be her friend.

Oh well. It didn't matter becase he knew he was already Kaeda's friend before the intervention of the higher ranked idiots.

(ooc: its Kaida.. spell it now.... Kaida... XD )

Kaida sat there a moment in thought then spoke softly. "One should not take a life because they want to... only because they have to, to do what is right. Having not killed someone is not a weakness, but a blessing. I would kill for this village, to protect it. I would kill for another village if that is what my duty called for. I will never, though, kill for pleasure. Only those with a sick mind could ever kill for pleasure." Kaida shook her head and sighed. " Looking around at the group she really couldn't see anybody that would kill for pleasure like that.

"Yes... chakra control would be a great group exercise." Kaida smiled alittle and got to her feet brushing the dust off her pants.

((Which reminds me, you gonna respond to my PM K-a-i-d-a? cool ))

"I... will be fine on my own, thanks..." Kuro slid his hand through his hair to place a strand behind his ear. His chakra control was fine. Flowers being so delicate, his control had to be just as delicate. There wasn't anything he couldn't learn on his own, he thought. And most likely, he could learn it faster. He'd already read all the scrolls on chakra and training. He was definitely enthusiastic about training, but he prefered his own terms.

(ooc: give me some time.. school is almost out...i got finals then I can focus on everything else)

Kaida glanced over to Kuro and muttered. "We function as a team, as a unit. If you can't be part of the team... perhaps focusing where your skills are best then maybe you shouldn't be here. Regardless of your skill abilities or style of training we need to work together to better the entire team. This training exercise isn't all about you, you know. So while we work on this training exercise come up with something you need to focus on that we can work on next."

Kuro closed his eyes for a moment, then he slowly opened them, focusing on the ground. He finally lifted his head and looked directl into Kaida's eyes. He stared that way at her for several seconds, his face frozen.

"My will is yours." He suddenly announced, crossing his arms over his chest.

"What do you want us to do?" He continued, implying that he and Humbra would work together.

Humbra

PostPosted: Tue Jun 13, 2006 7:17 pm

Humbra was wise enough to be quiet as the couple quarreled amongst themselves. One was a flowery baboon, and the other was becoming a spoiled prodigy. Oh well. Both their wishes to dominate the command structure of the group would most likely be quelled by Myou very soon. He sighed, fully knowing that if he voiced opinions he would be smashed into the ground by both the nature ninjutsu-ist and the future kage.

So he simply stood there, awaiting the actual teacher's verdict.

Kaida stood strong knowing that she had her own points and at this point all she wanted was what was best for the team. She wanted to make the entire team better not just one single person. "Kuro, your will is always your own, but you must understand that Myou-sensei has put together a team... as a team we work together. If you think that you can do so well on your own then maybe apply what you are good at to help someone who isn't as good. Humbra wishes to work with chakra control and it seems to me that you may have better control than I do. So I would like to request that you help us refine our control."

Kaida glanced over to Humbra whom had this entire time been very quiet and gesturedto him. "What is your opinion Humbra... I would like to hear it. Your voice counts just as much as the rest of ours."

Kuro sighed, finally turning his eyes away from Kaida. Kaida and Humbra had already met, had already fought, they were both genin. Kuro just happened to stumble into a convenient situation. Being lectured on how to work as a team just made him feel less part of a team. And what was really getting on his nerves was how quiet Humbra was being. He'd gotten used to the boy talking, it illiminated the need for him to talk.

It was a trap, and Humbra knew it. Whatever he would say in response to Kaida's question would most likely to either end up boosting of Kaida's ego, therefore causing Kuro to be hurt, or hurting Kaida by siding with Kuro. Then a thought clicked in his mind. An idiot chooses to babble nonchalantly, and a orator speaks only when it benefits him. So he choose neither- probably avoiding something very horrible.

"We shouldn't focus on purely the group. Nor should we focus on only one person." He paused, then quickly continued," Since Myou is the higher ranking shinobi in this group she should decide. Technically, in comparison with Jounin level ninja, all three of us are deficient in all three areas of Genjutsu, Ninjutsu, and Taijutsu." Humbra sighed. "Frankly, to me, it doesn't matter where we start- just as long as we start. We need to work ourselves quickly to the level where Kaida can run Kusakagure no Sato as the Kusakage, and to the level that Kuro and I can defend this village..."

The Gennin looked at Myou, aiming to look into her sharp eyes,".. I need to master knowledge, and I need to master nature itself... Kaida needs to master leadership and everything to do with being a Kage... Kuro needs to master his medical jutsu, his plant jutsus, and graduate to Gennin... Can we start now?"

That was about what Kuro expected. Humbra seemed to have a knack for saying what he couldn't, although it occasionally went to far, in Kuro's opinion.

"We can remain individuals and still be a team. We just need to be organized." Kuro nodded, not really talking to anybody. It was then he turned back to Kaida with a light smile.

"I would... most likely slow you guys down. If there is anything I can help with, I would immediately volunteer."

::Myou almost seemed to be not paying attention. She was now lying on her back, her eyes half closed, staring at the sky, watching the few clouds pass through the leaves. She had been letting them talk and now seemed as if she weren't even interested in the conversation. After a few moments of silence, when it became apparent that the conversation had turned back to her, she yawned and then thought a moment before speaking::

You're all right, and you're all wrong.

::she didn't even bother to sit up as she continued::

Kaida naturally falls into the leadership role, and probably would regardless of her future as Kage. Kuro is still a bit meek about his abilities, though he excels above other academy students even now, and Humbra has a sort of resentment and possibly a need to fill something, though I haven't decided what.

You're all still learning, and thats the point of why I picked you. I need you to be strong on your own, as all shinobi should be, but I need you to be able to work as a unit that no one else will be able to break, regardless of how hard they try.

You all have potential. Its why you are here. If one of you is good at something, be proud of it, and teach it to the others so that they can have the same basic grasp. If you're not so great at something, bring it up now so it can be addressed

::she waved her hand in a slightly lazy motion::

Kuro, you're better than you think, and thats why you are going to lead the exercise.

(ooc: omg.. my internet was shut off finally for this computer and I couldn't remember my password on this account cause i have mine auto logged in so I couldn't get on at all and I was freaking out 0.0 I'm sorry guys that it took so long for me to get back here)

Kaida stood there in silence expecting the answer she had been given by Humbra. Her eyes moved to Kuro as he smiled at her.

"Keep smiling... it makes you look more pleasant." She gave him a slight smile then listened to Myou. After Myou was through talking Kaida glanced over to Kuro again. "So you want to be a medical nin too? I think we can help eachother with that.. But that can wait... shall we get started?"
PostPosted: Sat Jun 17, 2006 2:31 am

Kuro's smile immediately faded with Kaida's comment. He grunted as he couldn't keep from blushing and looked off to the side. More pleasant? What is that suppose to mean? What's wrong with my normal face? He grunted again as his eyes changed position. It took a few seconds, but the words repeated in his head. A medical nin too? Kuro's previous train of thought vanished without a trace. This seemed to concern him more. Of course he was going to become a medical nin, he'd almost forgotten how little the group knew about each other. Then a thought shot through his head. The process was incredibly slow, but it finally occured to him. She said 'too'. The new kusakage was going to be a medical nin? All these things started to collide at once, making him unsure which to address first, but his immediate concern became Myou's words.

"Um... what kind of exercise?"

((This is what I love about this character. He thinks for about 5 minutes just to come up with 4-5 words.))

::she yawned a rolled her eyes before shutting them fully, lying on her back in the cool grass::

Chakra control. I thought that we had made that clear, maybe not, in all the confusion of talking.

I want you to teach these two chakra control. Its important to have, as you may well know already. So, I want you three to scuttle off into the woods and I want Kuro to teach you.
