You know, if I augmented the weapon, and it coudl give stat effects with the basic shot, bowgun would be very nice.... this 1 bowgun I have assembled has 3 slots!
Anywho, I am finding I like Sword and shield more and more... it's a shame you can't switch to ranging on the fly or something.

Man, the difficulty is crazy but I like it cause it makes you feel like tough s**t when you take down a monster! I mean, I'm not very far but taking down a Great Jaggi and then a little bit after that Qurupecco dude made me feel damn good. Qurupecco or whatever I killed with like 2 minutes left on the clock, it was insane

Yeah, it's hard, but getting just about anything done feels rewarding.
I'm at another tough part now. I have to take down like three huge monsters in three separate missions. I'm going to try to take on Rathalos first but my armor's not really meant for fire-fighting.
