Fuyu walked right up to Oasis, but with his sences still a little out of proportion, he didn't notice the punch and felt it hit his shoulder. He quickly gritted his teeth together but did nothing. "Gah... that hurt...." He stated after a very short moment as he now started to rub his now sore shoulder. As he walked, he could hear Oasis just fine. He however didn't know how much, or even at all for that matter, she was making her steps exadurated as so he wouldn't get lost. She asked another question and he sighed. "Um, first we should report back to the Kage. I bet he'll wanna know what happened. But after that, maybe rest? then do more missions that are accually ment for our level?" He laughed for a moment knowing how much higher ranked of a mission they just completed and survived. Is should have been a B ranked mission, maybe and A. He wasn't 100% positive, but knew a B for sure. Fuyu continued to follow Oasis, but in the back of his mind, still was hoping for Hatsuma to say something or appear out of thin air.

Oasis giggled lightly at his complaint when she punched him, she hadn't punched him very hard at all, so it was funny to her even if it was because he was sore it was still amusing. "Yea thats a good idea." she states as she turned around to face him while walking backwards "Lets go back and tell the kage guy what happened an how awesome it all was and I'm sure he will be so surprised." she muses brightly as she propped her arms behind her head. She was glad to be going home, the hot sun, the warm sky, and the hot sand on the earth. She really preferred that environment over the wet mushy ground and drippy sky which she had seen going to the island, and what she had experienced there was no better. "Hey, where do you prefer living... in the sand, or in that grass stuff?" she questions as she looked down from her sky gazing and back to Fuyu.

Fuyu lightly sighed as he heard Oasis giggle. It wasn't that funny that he was a little more sensitive at this moment since his chakra sorce was almost gone but now replenishing slowly. He pondered for a bit and tried to imagan what the Kage would say. Impressed or not? If not Impressed, then what? angry? upset? who knows. "Let's try not to over-stat things ok? we kinda did get lucky that there were some very strong nin's there... even if not from our village" He stated as they continued to walk. "As for where I prefer living? I call the sand my home as I've been raised there, but really... I think I could live just about anywhere...."

Oasis blinked, over state it? "huh?" was her simple response to his statement. "Well... not me, I really like the warm sand under my feet. Everywhere else feels kind of cold and squishy." she states as she wiggled her toes some "I really wanna get back to the sand soon." she adds as she looked at the ground it sure was a long walk home. "Oh hey, should we tell him about the purple haired guy and how powerful he was, cause... like wasn't he the guy who was causing troubles back home too?" she questions as she tipped her head to the side "He didn't seem like a bad guy though... so... what was he doing there, and there." she states mentally mapping the locations but she didn't say them outloud making her statement a little confusing. "I bet Hatsuma found her dad or something, and that's why she isn't out here right now, cause she is having a good time talking with her dad, I know I would be doing that too I really like my poppy." she muses as she rocked from side to side now.

"Well we all have our preferences right?" Fuyu stated to Oasis as they continued to walk. He was still feeling sore, but not as much no more. As he walked he heard Oasis talking about the purple haired guy. He was indeed very powerful yet, cocky, daft some times, but didn't seem too bad. He nodded in approvel and continued to follow Oasis's footsteps while woundering where Hatsuma was still. They were loud but without warning, his ears picked up another set of footsteps infront of them. Just as he heard them the wind picked up and blew right past them. About 100 yards away, was a very old and decrepid male, wearing a cloak that covered almost his whole body. This guy looked like a skeleton with skin just drapped over the bones, no muscle or fat. He stood in the middle of the path both Fuyu and Oasis were on, his eye clouded, but not like the Hyuuga clans eyes. It was just like normal eyes clouded over with a light layer of white. The man staired at them but didn't move nor speak.

The chuunin/genin duo walked down the street looking for a nice place to eat in. The evening air was cool and the street lamps began to turn on. Soba stopped in front of a building with the words 'The Mirage' in green and yellow flashing neon. "I haven't been here in a while!" said Soba excitedly as a memory emerged in his mind. "What's this place, sensei?" asked Notwen who was staring at the flashing neon sign. "This is the restaurant your mother took me and my team to when we graduated the academy." replied Soba nostalgically as images of a distant past began flooding his head. "Lets eat here, you're gonna love it." He walked up to the door and pulled it open. The air was instantly filled with the tantalizing aroma of cooked meat, vegetables, and other unidentifiable scents. Notwen followed his sensei into the restaurant. He was amazed by how big it was inside. There were many grilling pits set in large polished wood tables, some of which could seat eight customers. Soba found a table that accommodated two people and called over an attendant. "Four bowls of rice and the best selects of meat for two hungry shinobi ma'am?" said Soba in a voice Notwen had never heard him use. The lady attendant giggled. "Sure thing, sir." she replied in a friendly manner and disappeared into the kitchens.

Oasis nodded lightly "Yea... thats true I s'pose." she muses as she walked along they must have been getting closer to home cause it was starting to feel warmer, however as she was thinking about the weather there was a sudden gust of wind. She felt the presence of a person nearby and spun around bringing her attention to the front seeing a strange old man standing in the path. Her head cocked to the side and a wide smile crept over her face. "Oi! ojiisan! Do you need some help?" she questions enthusiastically as she continued to approach the old man, the white of his eyes, he must have been blind, she remembered some people like that from her home so it wasn't something she had not seen before.

"Hey Soba-sensei, do you know her?" asked Notwen who noticed the way he watched the girl as she went to the kitchen. "Her? Oh we're just old friends. Oh! That was quick." Soba replied as servers carrying trays walked up to their table. "Four orders of rice, and 'The Mirage's renowned prime cuts! Enjoy your meal gentlemen!" they announced as they set down four bowls of rice and two plates with well-cut pieces of meat on their table. Then one of them proceeded to light the grill at the center of the table. Once they had finished the preparations they bowed and went to attend to other costumers. Notwen was unable to resist the hunger any longer. "Itadakimasu!!!" He split his chopsticks, twirled them expertly in his fingers, and with two flicks of his wrist had two slices of pork on the grill.

Fuyu had already stopped, trying to get his eyes to work, but nothing. He heard Oasis speaking to him but there was no answer right away. He moved closer to Oasis to ask her something but was interupted as the male started to walk towards them.
"I am not the one who needs help young lady. Oasis is it? Of the Village hidden in the Sand. No, I do not need help. I'm here to give out help though." He pointed past Oasis and to Fuyu. "And by the way... I'm not blind, I've just no need for my eyes." He continued to move closer and closer intil he was just a few paces. "Your eyes Fuyu... they still hurt?" All Fuyu could do was nod. "I sence thatyou feel lost as well... After witnessing Oasis's little... 'Burst'... you've woundered, and dreamed about it. Now feeling useless since you over-strained yourself. Well, if you wish I can help..." The Male paused, and looked at Oasis. "Do I startle you yet? or just peak your curiosity?"

Oasis head crooked to the side, so... he wasn't blind? then was he a seer there was one of those in her old home but she was a little crazy and kinda scary... yet fun too. "yea, that's me Oasis. Sounds neat put like that though. I'm jus a genin though, so how come you know my name?" she states as her head crooked the other direction, yes that was really the primary thing that stuck for her the rest of the statement just sort of rushed past, she didn't even question why he knew about the battle or that time when she really didn't fully remember all of it. "...ara.. burst?" she questions tipping her head to the side it hitting her now that he mentioned something off putting. "Nope not really, there was a neat lady at my home who could read the future and stuff." she states with a wide grin as she laced her fingers behind her head. "So... hows you gonna help Fuyu neh?" she questions as she rocked from side to side "Cause, he is just gonna keep hurting himself, and... that's something I really don't want to see happen." she adds in a more thoughtful sounding tone.

The old man grinned a toothless grin from ear to ear as Oasis asked him how he knew her. There was only one answer that she needed to know from him. "I get around.... been everywhere more then several times..." He then pointed to her blue markings. "When you figure it out, those markings will make more sence..." he stated, keeping his answer very broad. He continued to grin until her last statement. He looked over at Fuyu who was still looking blank. But inside, he was crushed. The statement that Fuyu would just continue hurting himself was a true shot that almost literally took the wind out of him. He didn't want to be useless and a fire that was inside him grew slightly once he regained himself. The man looked at Fuyu once more with his blank stare. Fuyu didn't know what to do, but knew that being useless wasn't it. "In time, you'll find out everything you wish to know and more that you don't want to know..." The wind started to pick up until a was like everyone was in a medium sized sand storm but not in the dessert. "The wind travels everywhere, never passing assumptions, but it's own judgement. The winds are with you Fuyu.... all of them. North to South, East to West, The wandering wind gives it's gifts for you." With that, the wind picked up even more. The weird part was that the old man was disipating into the wind. A trail of white powered flowed in the wind randomly which was once the old man. After a few seconds all the powered and wind suddenly changed direction and was forced into Fuyu's body. It felt like the wind was grabbed from his lungs. Un-able to make any sounds, he dropped and the winds instantly faded. This all took mear seconds, but when done Fuyu was left on the ground, breathing but not getting up.

Oasis didn't understand his answer, but figured it was because there were alot of rumors circulating around and they carried of course her blue birthmarks. So that would be why he knew her name of course. She nodded as she made up her own mind about it. However what did he mean that the markings would make more sense? She shook her head and closed her eyes for a moment as the wind picked up the only thing she didn't like about home were the sand storms. Sand storms?! Why was there a sandstorm happening in an area like this? This was a real conundrum and as she thought about it the winds got worse and she noticed the old man faded into the wind, did that mean he was a wind ninja? or maybe... Her head cocked to the side as she considered something her father had told her about quite a long time ago. He had told her a story about earth bound kami who roam about doing strange things here and there, was that old man perhaps a kami of wind? She blinked a few more times that could make sense especially with the strange wind pickup and such. It was after this pondering that she took note of where the powder had headed and she spun around to face Fuyu in time to notice him on the ground. "definitely not a kami. They don't attack like that." she states as she ran the tales around in her head and couldn't remember a tale of a kami attacking a person like that. She went wide eyed after a few moments Fuyu was hurt! She jumped from where she was and landed beside Fuyu "FUYU!" She shouted as if being knocked unconscious had made him deaf as well. Maybe he was just knocked out right? She reached her hands out and planted them hard on the ground at her sides and with an odd gurgling and rushing sound water raced up from the earth and formed a fairly sizable ball of water over Fuyu, a fairly Cheshire cat-like smile spread over her features, she had figured he wasn't really injured at this time it just sounded like a good idea and fun at the same time, so she dropped the water on him with a satisfying splash.

Soba watched his student's antics and remembered the first time he had come to the same restaurant. The chuunin was about to take a stroll down memory lane, but thought better of it. There are more important things to be discussed, he reminded himself. "So now that we're here, let's talk about your training." said Soba, causing Notwen to look up from his grilling pork. "I noticed that you did get stronger during our time at Markry, but you still lack discipline, Notwen." "Discipline?" asked Notwen, a bit confused. "Yes, discipline. You use up chakra way too fast. For example, your battle against the 'Puppet Notwen'. You charged in recklessly without gauging your opponent's strength." Notwen thought back to his first battle. He'd used the Calormen repeatedly, and none of them actually landed on the puppet. Then Notwen remembered his recent sparring bout with Vyrin. The only technique that landed was the last Futtou Calormen, and that was only because what he had said surprised Vyrin with his statement. "I see what you mean sensei." replied. Soba continued. "It is actually my fault. I should have taught you how to manage your chakra better. So starting tomorrow, we will begin that training." announced Soba who split his chopsticks and selected three pieces of chicken. He lay them on the grill and watched them sizzle. "I guess i'll have to put my search for Dokuro on hold for now." said Notwen, flipping his pork over. "He's way out of your league!" said Soba, who had picked up rice with his chopsticks and dipped it in soy sauce. "I'm not going to tell you to forget him. Just worry about training for now."

Fuyu quickly sat up as the water splashed on his face and took a deep gasp of air in. It was a complete shock to his system. Suprisingly, his ears didn't hurt from Oasis having just shouted in them. Turning his head over to her, he started to notice something. The outlines of images were starting to appear inside the blackness of his eyes. As he turned his head again, the images moved accordingly and the start of new outlines began. He waved his hand infront of his face a few times and watched the outlines of his hand pass back and forth infront of him. this was AMAZING! he couldn't believe it... litterally. He pondered for a moment. "Oasis... Has anything changed?" He stood up and looked around. He couldn't tell how light or dark it was, but knew where everything was. Those with the darker/thicker outlines were closer to him. He moved over to Oasis and poked her in the shoulder. "Wow... I have depth perseption..."

Oasis grinned as he sat up sputtering from the watery surprise. "hehe, got you good that time." she mused with a grin. She cocked her head to the side as he started to speak, and asked her a question. She whipped her head one direction, then the other and spun herself around a few times as she looked around, then down to herself and over to Fuyu. "Uhm, other than that strange ojiisan is gone, and whatever it was he did to you yea." she states giving a nod of her head. He then looked about some waving his hand infront of his face and the like. Looked about?! Somehow was Fuyu able to see now when he poked her shoulder that pretty much summed it up for her. "OH MY!" she squeals out hopping up and down "YOU CAN SEE CANT YOU!?" she adds equally loudly. she didn't know the extent of his vision but with what he said it had to mean he could see.
