I've got all eight badges and would've probably beat the Pokemon league by now if school wasn't in the way. I have all three starters at their final evolutions through the power of GTS and a lot of my favorite pokemon including a Dragonite I bought as a Dratini from the casino in Goldenrod city.

Update: Caught Groudon, Suicune, Latios, Mewtwo beaten all 16 gyms, traded over Arceus, and caught m lvl1 Giratina. Awesome Arceus event BTW.

That reminds me EVERYONE that does the Arceus event should get giratina. You can get Palkia's and Dialga's hold items easy, but if you don't get giratina through this method there's almost no way to get a Grisideous orb in this game.

True that, Klotera. Anyone with a Platinum version can easily nab Dialga and Palkia W/ their respective items and trade them over, but since even entering the Union Room removes the Griseous Orb from Giratina, there's no way to Get Origin Form on HG/SS without nabbing him through the Arceus event.
Updates: Beaten Red (Slasher now has the Legend Ribbon, bringing the total to 28 biggrin ), caught Ho-oh, and will likely go after Mewtwo next. I've gotten all 3 starters on my Platinum version thanks to HG (By the way, did anyone else notice that pokemon that come from Johto to Sinnoh aren't noted as such, but instead come from "Faraway place"? That may be their answer to the 5th gen stuff, too....), and I'm letting my sister play it until she can get her own on her birthday. I've also nabbed a Shiny leaf for my Darkrai, and have gotten top score on Relay Run (Over 17 laps), among others that I've broken the first record for.

Tektek voting will end Friday because it is a close contest! Great job to everyone else that didn't quite qualify this round. I was sad to see many not make the 5 vote mark. :/

Yeah, I was kinda hoping for a little more than 3 final entries. Make it a little more exciting.
I have captured Mewtwo (I used about 25+ Ultra balls, but after 1 Shadow claw from Darkrai , that's all I had to do. Aside from Psycho Cut (which didn't even affect him), mewtwo's moves were easy to defend against (Read: do nothing. they are practically useless on a wild Mewtwo). I have also nabbed the Shiny Leaf Crown for Darkrai! He is so shiny!

Update for me-Caught Lugia and I'm up to the Elite Four now. Haven't beat it yet though. I tried once and failed at Lance's lvl 50 Dragonite. It continued to pwn my team with Outrage never once being affected by its confusion status=bogus!

Yay thank you for voting me into the top three guys ^_^.
Also I have caught Raikou and Lugia, each with ONE BALL. A level ball. They are my new favourite ball, I almost had Entei but he used roar. I hate roar, but he's down to one health so I just gotta hunt him down again.
I beat the first eight gyms and I am doing some exploring before taking on the elite four, fleshing out my dex and stuff like that. I am really enjoying the game but I have decided I dislike the dowsing machine, I like the one in platinum better.
