Silencer juggled the snowglobe a little and hugged it close to her - it looked so darn fragile and beautiful, she was sure her heart would break if the thing slipped, fell and broke into pieces. Busy with the snowglobe, the girl missed Gullien's reaction.
Finally she looked up, and grinned at Gullien. "Oh, okay. Merry Christmas, Gullien, Thylassa." She shook her at at the word 'staff', and waved her hand in the direction of the tallest figure among a group of other mishaps and people.
"Guardian." Came the simple reply. "That's my boy there, the one sticking out from the group. Easy to spot. With that she chuckled, and shifted the snowglobe around in her arms again.
King munched happily on the food stuffed into his mouth by his twin earlier, his rumbling one of a content rather than anger and irritation. Mm...
It was just then that he noticed Lenore looking up at him, and the tyrannosaur blinked down back at her.
"Rrrrr?
""Nice to meet you, Len." Rex nodded, and smiled at Lenore. "Come on, to the lake!" The boy exclaimed, excitement clear in his voice, his action, everything.

"Thanks, Shammi," Ike said and skittered over to Mummy and the group, taking a seat a table or so away to watch. His expression was still deeply angry.

Heedless of Crow, Lenore followed Rex and Dei obligingly, looking up at the beautiful dinosaur adoringly.

Deimos felt something near jelousy flare up, ok, it wsa a lot like jelousy, but he pushed it down. "That's King." He said, absentmindedly taking Lenore's hand as he led her fowards out of the ballroom. "Watcha got that you're so exited, Rex?"
"Well, please, I'd ask you not to feed me any more, or this whole place may become a banquent for me." He stated, a bit stronger now, regaining his cool demeanor. "I don't make a habit of drinking anything but animal blood. Mahlah got me into the habit.. Not the best tasting, but she gives me some of hers on occasion as well." His breathing calmed, though his fangs and eyes were still bared and ready.
His face turned slowly to Julian. "Jean Claude LaRoche. Pleasure." His head nodded softly, though his eyes lingered on Julian's neck. He couldn;t help it. He could see the blood jumping in his veins. It was what he was.

Clemmie moved from her spot to join Ike, saying nothing and doing less. It meant something to her to be there for him, even if she was silent.
"Of course," Liam said, attempting to influence Jean Claude's brain otherwise, "Not here, anyway." He really didn't want to have to revive everyone in the room and explain the massive blood stains.
Julian? Don't do anything stupid.
Rabid looked on, her brow furrowed with worry. She didn't notice her son and daughter. She seemed capable of focusing on only one person, now.

Gullien whistled, staring over the at the tall two-headed kid standing near a wing-headed boy and a girl with... bladed arms. Huh. Looks like she didn't have the only humaniod kid after all. "Wow. He's got some height to him. How old is he?" She glanced over again at Silencer, grinning slightly at the care the other woman was taking with the snowglobe. Wrong person to take it, but right person to give it to then. "How long have you been here?" She'd never actually thought about how long she'd been here.
Thylassa nodded at the words "Merry Christmas", still confused by the face-touched. Sensing more face-touches probably weren't forthcoming, she tuned out the bigpeople, sticking a bobble-eye in her mouth as she glanced around the room. Big, big, big, pointyarms, flying eyebrows, white fluffy... probably not a totoro. She sighed, remembering Sabriel. Avoid the fluffy ones.

Perfectly aware of the look Jean Claude was giving his throat, Julian let his claws lengthen very long and thin out to needle-points, showing them off in a subtle manner as he brushed his hair back carelessly. His red eyes fixed on the Vampire's face in subtle warning as he smiled pleasantly.
I'm not going to kill him, if that's what you mean by "stupid". He's lookin' at me like I'm the blue-plate special - I'm just...protecting myself.
"So. How long have you and Jizzy known each other?" he said smoothly, letting the echoing tones grow a little more obvious.
Lenore held Dei's hand obligingly, her attentions never wavering as they left the party.
A real, live dinosaur...too freakin' cool.

Jean Claude tore his eyes away from Julian, still breathing a bit heavily. He straghtened up, his posture back to his calm cool state, his nails back to thier normal lengths. He knew quite well that Julian was trying to intimidate him, but Jean Claude was in no mood, nor state to fight. He;d got for the kill at the moment, and that was never to good.
"Oh.. Me and Mahlah.. I don't know.. Maybe.. 600 years, give or take a few decades." He said, trying to focus on the conversation instead of his hunger.
Jizzy's eyes widened. 'JEAN CLAUDE!" She exclaimed. She was passing off as a teen here in Gaia.

"Oh, stow it," Liam rolled his eyes, "Everyone here knew." He then glanced quickly to Julian and Crow.
"Okay...so Rabid and I did..." he thought for a moment, "If it's any consolation, I'm technically more than 6 times your age." Sure, he was undershooting a little...
Rabid gave a deep sigh and stepped over behind Julian, slinging her arms around his neck and resting her head on his shoulder.
"Don't maul him," she whispered.

Crow, who'd been attempting to wrangle her suddenly stupidity-stricken brain into working properly again, gave Jizzy a slightly surprised look.
"Huh. Imagine that."
Evidently, her brain was still a little on the slow side.
Letting his claws recede back to normal slowly, Julian quirked a brow at Jizzy's reaction in curiosity.
"What? Not a big deal, really. Me and Crow don't care. Right, Crow?"
Crow blinked in response.
"Huh? Oh, yeah. No caring involved. Minimal caring."
Holy crap, cute guy. Must gawk.
As Rabid noticed him again, Julian gave a choked-off Rijani exclamation, turning wide, surprise-stricken eyes to her.
"Okay," he said, his voice cracking with sudden shy nervousness.

Jizzy's cheeks went crimson, almost as red as the candy cane striped on her gloves. "Well, yes, but he doens't have to go blabbing about it like that. It makes me feel terribly old, you know."
"Oh, forget it Mahlah. I mean, you're at your prime. 841 is nothing to be ashamed of."
Jizzy groaned. "Yes.. thank you Jean CLaude." She said softly, rubbing her temple.
Jean Claude's eyes were shifting back to normal now, as were his fangs. "Oh come now, Mahlah. Does your Mortal-boy know? Yes. Then it can;t be that terrible a thing now can it."
"He has a name." She grunted. Oh she loved Jean Claude, but he was a such a pain sometimes! She breathed out. "I'm going to go get a drink." She said. Maybe there was some eggnog or something around here she could get drunk off. Yes, that would make her feel better.

Rabid snerked and shook her head, refusing to let go of Julian.
"I suddenly feel very, very young...I think." It only then hit her that she hadn't the slightest idea how old either Crow or Julian was. She sighed and let go of Julian, grabbing him by the hand, "Come. Lessgo talk." She gave a smile and a wave to Jean Claude, feeling quite conflicted about leaving him.
"Good luck with that," Liam gave a short laugh and leaned against a table. At least she'd gotten Jean Claude to not want to attack everyone in the ballroom.

Still shell-shocked to the roots of his soul that Rabid had touched him like that, Julian followed obediently.
"Talk." He managed to choke out, gasping for air.
Holy SHIIIIIIT she hugged me.
Crow gave the pair a curious look before excusing herself as well.
"I gotta go for a second - ladies room," she said quickly, scooting away before she did anything stupid.
