Adrian shouted, "Thank you!" to the crowd, before saying, "Got a couple here now from Shinedown, one of their older ones, and one of the newer ones."

Raoul took up his guitar again and played a few high, screechy kind of notes before settling back into a soft rhythm on the lower registers. Adrian and the others jumped in, amplifying the rhythm to a full rock sound as Adrian began singing:

"Don't use a weakness

Don't ask the questions if you fear the answer

Lets flip the switch and use the smoke and mirrors

The four of them settled back into their rock rhythm as Adrian continued:

The instruments faded to practically nothing as Adrian continued singing by himself:

They came back in full force fo finish out the song:

The song ended softly, and beneath it, a soft line played from Adrian's guitar, repeating a few times, gradually lowering the energy produced by their show. After a few repetitions, Adrian began singing softly:

"I painted your room at midnight,
So I'd know yesterday was over
I put all your books on the top shelf,
Even the one with the four leaf clover
Man, I'm getting older..."

Kira joined in a drums, and Raoul on the keyboard as he continued, putting more power into his voice:

"I took all your pictures off the wall,
And wrapped them in a newspaper blanket
I haven't slept in what seems like a century,
And now I can barely breathe..."

"Just like a crow chasing the butterfly
Dandelions lost in the summer sky
When you and I were getting high as outer space,
I never thought you'd slip away
I guess I was just a little too late..."

The instruments dropped off slowly, leaving only Adrian singing his heart out with his guitar:

I've never heard such a haunting melody.
Oh, it's killing me
You know I can barely breathe"

Adrian played out a short solo, letting all the loss, pain, and frustration the song made him feel flood out through the speakers.

The swordsman closed down the song with the same soft riff he'd opened with, fighting to keep tears from his face as he did so. But finally, it was over, and he past the audience, on to the horizon.

"Whoo hoo! This is so awesome, to be on the largest roller ever!!!" she said her hair blowing everywhere.

Reika laughed at Makota and suddenly the car stopped. They sat on the hill for awhile until it dropped down. Reika screamed as her hair blew in her face.

"Makota, I hope you like loops." she said looking at the loop that was coming up.

Reika laughed as they went through the loop. She smiled as her hair kept smacking her in the face.

Adrian finally shook himself from his daze, pressing on with the concert.

"Our final song tonight is a new one from Nickelback, and one of my favorites. I hope you all enjoy it," he said.

Adrian began playing a quivering riff as Kyou and Raoul began singing softly, a sort of harmony, and then Adrian came in with the main verse:

"This time, I wonder what it feels like

But dreams just aren't enough
So I'll be waiting for the real thing, I'll know it by the feeling
The moment when we're meeting, will play out like a scene

Kyou joined the swordsman for the chorus, both of them singing out as strongly as they could.

And everyone wants to know they're not alone
Somebody else that feels the same somewhere

Kira played out with a powerful drum solo as Raoul and Kyou returned to the harmonic singing they'd done at the beginning, then Adrian sang the last verse, as Kyou backed him up:

When it shows up, (make sure you're holding on)
Cause it could be the one, the one you're waiting on"

Each of the instruments dropped to nothingness, leaving Adrian singing by himself:

The band came back in full force as all four of them finished singing the song:

And everyone wants to know they're not alone

There's somebody else that feels the same somewhere

When they finished playing, each of them disengaged themselves from their instruments and came together in a straight line across the stage. Joining hands and holding them high, they all bowed as one before the audience.

Adrian looked left and right, locking eyes with his comrades. "Think we should give 'em one more?" he asked.
