 Flavio"REOOOOO!"
Bumps and crashes sounded through the halls as a blind Gardevoir tried to make his way through the palace.
Reo's little decoy for Flavio hadn't worked at all, and the Gardevoir had known instantly that the Blaziken was gone.
He was sniffling and wailing as he searched for Reo.
"Where are you?! Please, don't be dead!"
Flavio was quite aware of the war that was being raged.

Reo was taking a leisurely stroll back to his lodgings just as the first wave of war ended when he heard a familiar voice shrieking out his name.
"Hey~! What are you doing out?"
He quickly ran over to the nearby Gardevoir and embraced him. The way he phrased things sounding like he was speaking to a mental patient.
"You shouldn't leave on your own like this. I was just out shopping is all..."
He quickly lied, reaching out a hand to grasp a lamp that was rested on a small pillar nearby and his lover had fortunately not demolished in his flailing path of destruction.
"I even picked you up something to replace that lamp you broke. I saw it and immediately thought of how well it would match our room~."
He lied....A lot. The stolen lamp hardly fitting in well with the decor of their living area, but who was going to notice. It was slightly sad how little remorse Reo had when lying to a blind Pokemon.

FlavioTears streamed from Flavio's useless eyes as he began hitting Reo's chest furiously.
However, being the wimp that he is, it really didn't do any damage.
Or cause any discomfort whatsoever, for that matter.
"How! Dare! You! Worry! Me! Like! That!" He cried as he flailed his fists, eventually tiring and burying his face in the Blaziken's feathers, crying hysterically.

Reo sighed as he was struck at. Aware that his decoy failed miserably he was stuck for a moment on how to talk his way out of this situation now. Through all the pitiful strikes, he simply pulled Flavio in closer before speaking.
"I'm sorry hun..."
He began, putting on a facade of sorrow in his voice.
"You were sleeping peacefully when I left and I didn't want to wake you..."
He admitted, finishing his argument with a light kiss to the Gardevoir's forehead.

FlavioFlavio sniffled as the crying began to stop.
"Y-You should have told me where you were going..." He said softly.
"I thought you were out fighting that dumb war..."
Flavio loved Reo, and would have hated to know of him getting hurt.
Also, he needed Reo to get around, but that was beside the point.

"Naw, I'm sure all that nonsense is over by now anyway."
Reo noted with an unseen smile. So far the only break in his alibi was the fact that Flavio's father was out there in battle also; but in the end it was likely that Jack would have to lie to his son also about this whole epoch so really all was well.
"We should get you back home..."
The Blaziken took hold of his love and began to lead him through the hall and around a few spots of miscellaneous broken glass and pottery.
"If you're going to try and be more independent like this again, maybe we should invest in a guide Poochyena or something."

FlavioThe blind Pokemon pouted as he was led on.
"I'm not a total cripple, I can do things on my own!" He exclaimed.
Being told he should get help to be independent hurt a bit.
"Besides, I'll never learn how to properly cope with this if I don't take a few risks..."

Reo winced as it became apparent he hit a touchy subject. He always babied Flavio so this didn't come across as much of a problem to him.
"Those few risks might be better suited to a padded room with less breakable objects..."
The Blaziken noted, dealing with the situation the only way he could, which was with making a joke of it. He accepted and didn't try to hide the fact that Flavio was disabled; so why should the Gardevoir himself think any different...

FlavioFlavio suddenly pushed back from the Blaziken.
"It's not funny, Reo!" He cried, fresh tears starting to form again.
"I know you like to make jokes, but this isn't something you have to deal with!"
His hands were closed into fists at his side.
"I'm trying to live as normal a life as I can! Getting pampered and cared for twenty four hours a day isn't normal!"

"I-I don't know what to say..."
Reo stammered for a moment as he struggled to comprehend the problem at hand. His partner never having complained about these problems since he had gotten over the initial shock of his new lifestyle.
"I don't mind doing the best I can to help you here..."
He noted, cautiously trying to once again close the gap that the Gardevoir suddenly made in between them.
"We've been over this before; I'm in a life debt of sorrow over what happened but there's really not much else you can do but succumb to being spoiled a little..."

FlavioFlavio sniffled and wiped his eyes of the tears.
"Yeah, we have been over this! And I told you, you don't owe me anything!" He exclaimed.
His face was going red as he yelled and cried.
"I know you want to help me, but it shouldn't be your number one priority..." The Gardevoir then said softly, looking down and biting his bottom lip.
"I was hoping... That someday, I wouldn't need any help at all..."

Despite previous anger, Reo plunged in to once again embrace his crying love. It wasn't like Flavio could hurt him even if he tried anyway.
"Fine then. If that's how you want to think of it, I don't owe you. I'm helping you by choice."
He noted in response to the first part of the Gardevoir's rantings; bringing a claw up to his face to gently wipe the tears away.
"And I guess if that's also what you want...If you say so I can let up a bit. But if I catch you in trouble like this again you're back to square one~"
Reo shifted the argument into more of an agreement. Finding a medium which he was comfortable with. It felt strange to him at first but there was actually a concern that there would come a time like Flavio said where there would be no need for him anymore.

FlavioFlavio sighed shakily as he rest his head on Reo's feathery chest.
"I really can take care of myself. I cooked breakfast for you... Although now it's undoubtedly cold..."
Admittedly, his bacon and eggs did come out quite alright.
He had only burnt the bacon a tiny bit, but that was because of his cooking skills, not his blindness.

A look of pure shock and concern etched its way slowly onto Reo's face as he thought over the situation at hand.
"I'm sure you did wonderful. And I think I can heat it up need be."
He lied in response, this time the worry seeping into his voice just a tad. For some reason the mixture of a blind Pokemon and a stove just didn't set well in his mind. This added on to the fact nor him or Jack were in the house for this immediately lead to panic.
"As said though...Just please start with some baby steps before you go waltzing about like today?"
He asked of the Gardevoir, once again getting back in to motion as he wished to get home as quickly as possible to access the damages done.

FlavioThe Gardevoir sighed and nodded.
He linked his hands with Reo's and leaned up to kiss him softly on the beak.
"Why don't we get home, hm?~" He suggested softly before kissing Reo again.
