Collected some different themed inspiration for the design of Kyle's "Magic Gauntlets"

NOR DID I REALLY KNOW YOU EVEN KNEW ABOUT THE WEAPON SHIFT

They all look super interesting--I have no idea which I'd pick, really. The fact that you pulled from GW2 Mesmers makes me giddy as hell, though, haha!

One of the first inspirations I drew from with them was this thing:



Though treating the blue-teal 'fire' as just a silhouette for his hand.

The Stargate Kara Kesh ones have the central-gem idea in a pretty neat way, that's a show I haven't thought about in ages.

And RE:Ultima... yeah... Esper fashion is weird xD

I've read the various threads with all of the new information several times, and I even printed out a list of characters, their weapons, and their summons! I was just waiting on full profiles so i could get more thematic inspiration for each character design.

As for the gauntlets, its not a matter of "choosing" any of the 6 (or the awesome design you provided)... I'm drawing inspiration and elements from all of them at once. They are /your/ gauntlets, and I know that (nearly) all of those designs are from something to do with kyle smile

Agreed. I've been trying to think of some manner of shift lately anyway and have been struggling xD You can definitely tweak the scale pauldrons as desired, and the design as a whole if you'd like. Total artistic license, et cetera.
