Rath pouted a little, his wings drooping. He didn't know Kaelin was hurt, or had been. But he guess the father of Kaelin's kids was gone, and so she was worried Rath might go too.
He purred when she petted his cheek and when she kissed him again. All Rath could do then was wrap his arms and wings and tail around her, hugging her tightly. He smiled and kissed Kaelin back.
" Never hurt Kaelin, Rath protect Kaelin. And Rath tough like big ... green rock.. so Kaelin not hurt Rath"

Laying her head on his chest she nods smiling alittle before she looks up at him "Alright, as long as you know what you are getting yourself into. Cause those two in there, they are an handful when they want to be." laying her head back on his chest she closes her eyes just liking the comfort.

Rath grinned and petted Kaelin's hair and nuzzled his cheek against it. Rath liked the two little ones, they amused him and he got to look after them.
" Rath think little ones should watch out for Rath, Rath be king naughty"

Shaking her head Kaelin laughs as she lifts her hand to poke his nose lightly "Rath you haven't seen naughty, trust me on that." with a wink she lays her head back down on his shoulder for a moment before she sadly pulled away from him again.
Placing her hands behind her back she glances back towards the house "Mmm food is sounding good right about now." looking back at Rath she holds her hand out to him.

Rath pokes Kaelin's nose back and grins evily.
" Kaelin not seen Rath in a while, never know what Rath got up to"
With that he takes her hand and leads her inside.

Making a face Kaelin smirks as she lead back inside the home. It was true she hadn't seen him in awhile, so she didn't know what he was like now. Giving his hand a squeeze she turns looking at her sons.
They were laying on the fur again facing eachother, they didn't say anything. But somehow they were understanding eachother. Mel glance up giving a small wave before looking back at his brother. Dil giggle then curl close to Mel yawning again his eyes falling close.
Smiling Kaelin steps close to Rath laying her head on his shoulder for a moment. Blushing she shook her head stepping away "Sorry..." pushing her hair from her face she looks down at her hand in his.

Rath smiled looking at the two little ones, he was amazed that Kaelin had made them and he thought they were the most intriguing things he'd ever seen. He chuckled at their antics and watched them get comfy on the fur.
" Rath get that one when he was this high"
Rath showed KAelin about the height of his teen size, it was at best a guess though.
" Bear got Rath back though"
And Rath showed the big bite marks made by the bear's teeth on his thigh, and how it'd thrown him across the forest.
He smiled as Kaelin rested her head on his shoulder, and blinked as she pulled away. He smiled a little at what she said.
" Rath think if Kaelin keep saying sorry, Rath think Kaelin do something wrong"
It his way of pointing out to her she had nothing to be sorry for, and petted her cheek.

Looking at the bite mark on Rath's thight Kaelin runs her finger lightly over it. Closing her eyes she nods understanding him "Alright I'll stop pulling away." with a small smile she pokes him lightly before taking a seta back down on the fur.
Running her fingers through her hair she barids it slowly before tiying it with a ribbon at the end. Looking up at him she smiles "Care to join me Rath?"

" Mmmmhmmm"
Rath smiled and nodded and made his way over towards Kaelin and dropped down on the fur bside her. Smiling for a moment, he shuffled around in a circle on the spot and layed back, resting his head in her lap.
He grinned innocently up at her and got himself comfortable, swishing his tail back and forth.
" Kaelin always the comfiest"

Kaelin smiles as she runs her fingers through his hair "I think you are just saying that to make me blush." leaning down she brushes a single kiss over his cheek. Pulling back up she smiles "I'm glad you find me comfortable. I seem comfortable when your around." blushing she runs her finger along his cheek.
She couldn't, she didn't dare just flat out kiss him. If she scared him away she would hate herself. But she just wanted to toss the fear out the door and kiss him. He did afterall kiss her, so what was stopping her?

Rath purred at the attention he was getting and smiled, closing his eyes and realxing. He was very comfortable, but although not tired, Kaelin made him feel so relaxed as to almost be sleepy.
" Well Rath big enough now to be comfortable for Kaelin"
He looked up, gave a grin and nipped playfully at her finger before giving her hand a kiss.

Kaelin smirks then shakes her head. Moving carefully she lays down a few inches from him "That you are Rath." closing her eyes she relaxes laying on her side.
She knew if Rath wanted to be close to her he move towards her. She jusy didn't want to do the wrong thing, so she was alloowing him to choose what would happen.

Rath had been trying to figure out what the stick was the Kaelin gave him. He sniffed at it some more while sitting under the shade of a tree, turning it over in his fingers. He loved it all the same, because it came from Kaelin, but he wondered what it did. Taking a bite of his apple, he tried to see it it had a lid and see if there was something inside.
