((I don't know if it is I who is causing the posting shortage, but I would like to warn that Daras is gonna be out for awhile. His people run on a "day" that is pretty much equivilent to a week. He is out for the rest of the day, (A good night sleep for him) unless someone wants to try and wake him up that is. Also for giggles I will post a little something now anyway))

Daras rolled oved onto his back, arms and legs splayed out, his long muscular tail slowly shifting side to side like a snake slithering. His snoring becoming even more noisome, it stops every once and awhile and he can be heard talking to himself in his sleep. "Mustn't forget ... 'snnrrk' .. stove, top shelf .... dancing .. 'snaa' ...... lobaris ... cake." About the time you hear him mention cake there is a slow cascade of drool, puddling on the floor.

Upon hearing Krisa's praise, she happily giggled and then gave another toss, this time hitting her target head on. Smiling, she said to her. "Did you see that? I'll definitely become the best fighter if I keep making progress! The spears are a bit heavy though, and my arms are hurting from throwing so much so I think I'll take a break." Looking over to Daras, she giggled and then flew over to him, landing on the ground noiselessly before she laid her head against his stomach and decided to take a quick nap. The up and down movements of him breathing only caused her to fall asleep even faster.

Krisa chuckled at Daras' apparent dream, then turned back to Rena. The fairy was getting better with each throw. When Rena made a comment about the spears being too heavy, Krisa started trying to think if there was possibly a way to make them lighter.

She jumped a little bit when Joe shouted the last word of his statement. She shook her head. "Well, if you've got so much energy, you could use some of your brain power to work on coming up with a way to make some lighter spears for Rena so they don't tire her out so fast." With a bit of a smile, she laid her head down and half closed her eyes.

After enough time had passed for each member to settle in, for those who did opt for sleep, Joe's vigialnt watch of the entry way was greeted with the sight of a large battering ram appearing a few yards outside. The trouble with this battering ram is that not only did it appear seemingly out of thin air, but was set in motion for a direct course to collide with what WOULD have been a door, had it not been shattered by Daras. And thus Joe witnessed a large, solid hunk of wood pelting at him with alarming speed.

This was not all that was occuring, for the battering ram was not alone. Shortly after it's appearace seven spears from slightly different trajectories appaeared also in the air mid-arc, raining down an assault upon the entrance. Three did not make the entrance and instead clattered uselessly along the stone archway. Four, however, trailed after the ram.

Finally, after this obstacle, fourteen men jumped out of various hiding places and started running towards the entrance with the intent of storming it. The first five had swords. Two more had axes. Three after that had polearms, and the four remaining wielded bows. They were all lightly armoured with just chainmail tunics, greaves, and breastplates - except for the two axe wielders who trudged in with full plate. They called out in unison a battle cry.

Joe rolled out of the way of the battering ram, clumsily dodging the spears along the way. He shouted as loud as he could to wake the others before getting back to his feet and charging the door.

Since all the enemies were coming in from one entrance, the best tactic (since Joe had no access to his magic and couldn't just immolate the lot of them) was to hold the doorway until he could get some backup. So, he charged as fast as he could to head them off, and luckily Rena rained spears down into the door as they tried to enter, which bought Joe the several seconds needed to get into the chokepoint before they could break through.

With a cry, Joe whipped the Saber out and began to slash with lightning quickness, mainly focusing on keeping the enemies at bay and not as intent on killing them outright. All he had to do was keep them back, which would be easy if he simply stayed in the door and kept them from skewering him. If the archers were given a clear shot, then Joe would have to dodge behind the door, but that shouldn't matter long enough for backup to arrive.

Hearing the noise and yelling, Daras groaned, "You people better have woken me up because we're under attack." He said stifling a yawn, "Unless perhaps, perchance, someone has prepared a delicious breakfast?" he added hopefully. Hearing the sounds of combat, his hopes deflated, "I'll take breakfast is a no then."
Rolling back onto his stomach, Daras growls. "I do not appreciate having my sleep disrupted!!" Curling up, he begins to roll, pulling the floor up in a jagged line, shaping it until he becomes a moving boulder hurtling towards the would be attackers, spikes jutting out and retracting at random.

Joe parried a spear and glanced back to see a giant spiny boulder bearing down on him. "Shitshitshitshits**t!" Joe said as he jumped back and then to the side of the door, just in time to avoid getting killed.

"Thanks," he said to Krisa, panting, "How can that guy use magic? Aren't we in a Reality Enforcement Field? Err, I mean, isn't it being blocked?"
