.Thea. Broken in several places. Thea's hand moved to another area, the ribs on the other side, and softly applied pressure there, too. Sinopa didn't know it yet, but she was healing him. There were several ways this could be done, the first being immediate results; she could heal him while touching him. The second would involve a delay. She could put the healing in there, and it would act on its own after she broke contact. The second might seem useless, but was, in fact, her preferred method of helping. Usually, by the time the healing would take place, she'd already be gone, job done, life of the human a little better, and them none the wiser. This time, however, she went with the first. He knew she was unusual anyway. He just didn't know how. And she wasn't going to tell him. She remained stubbornly silent as the healing took place, slowly mending the broken ribs. He might figure it out, eventually, but it wasn't her way, no matter the circumstances, to reveal to humans what she was. She was a nice memory. A helper. Nothing more. She wasn't... Human. It's better to light a candle Than to curse the darkness.

The skinwalker frowned, not only cause she still wasn't answering his question, but because she was also doing something to him...something strange, yet wonderful... She was healing him. The pain was lessening, he could feel that...and he could almost swear he could feel the bones knitting together where they had been broken, but the could've been his imagination. "You know...you didn't have to do this." That's all he could say. He wasn't going to get much else out of her, anyways, it seemed... But what was she that made her able to do something like this...?

.Thea. She gave him an amused and condescending look in response. Didn't have to do this? What did the man think, that one person with the ability to heal shouldn't do it when it's needed the most? "It's my responsibility," she began, "to help when someone gets hurt. It's everyone's responsibility." A short lecture, thank God. Thea had strong views about human decency and how it's not just a privilege, it's a duty. The golden rule, etc. However, it wasn't in her nature to be preachy. She knew what she believed, and that was enough. Her actions would dictate the rest; heavens knew there were plenty of people willing to give lectures, and never actually be willing to do what they were saying. Hypocrisy was, in her experience, a trademark of the self-righteous. His injuries were, thankfully, not hard to heal. A great amount of pain would be taken away now, and the rest would heal in a short amount of time. The healing power was in there now, and she let it work its 'magic'. Standing, she looked to the defeated beast once again -there was a certain gruesome fascination about it that drew one's gaze back. "We were fortunate. It could have been a lot worse." The statement could have meant any number of things. A worse monster, or worse injuries, or just worse in general. She offered a hand to Sinopa, and then retracted it, looking away to the side, and... blushing? Was she blushing? "I don't suppose you could put your shorts on?"The 'I need to heal you' moment was gone. As far as priorities go, that came first, but now... the man was naked. Naked. It's better to light a candle Than to curse the darkness.

The skinwalker sat there, mulling over Thea's words in his head as she healed his ribs. Responsibility when someone gets hurt? No, that wasn't a human-like thought... Sinopa shook his head, editing that last thought. It wasn't an animal-like thought. You help those that are close to you, your 'pack'. Even though foxes don't normally travel in packs, family is still close, mates still protect each other, but that's as far as it goes. Beyond that, it's Fight Or Flight, Survival of the Fittest. That was engrained in him, body mind and soul. The price you pay for being a skinwalker. You can freely turn into an animal, but a lot of its traits affect your own personality. The girl was a bleeding heart, and Sino knew from his instincts as a fox that bleeding hearts do just that. They bleed. When she ended up finishing up, he moved his arm up and down, feeling hardly any pain. She was good at that healing thing, that's for sure. Of course, when she started blushing, he smirked, but stood up and put on his shorts. "Can't keep the doctor composure when there's no doctoring left to do? Shame. Guess 'Roleplay' is out, then." After fixing his bandana to his head, and straightening the feathers in his hair so they fell correctly, Sinopa silently wondered when she was going to ask what he was. It definitely was going to be a when, not if, but he wasn't going to bring up the subject any time soon. "So...now which way?" he asked. Of course, he was looking at the creature, too, and spit onto the floor again. GOD it tasted wrong...

.Thea. Thea averted her gaze as Sinopa dressed. His comment on the matter had her blushing even more, although goodness knows why. It wasn't like she had never seen a naked man before. She found she was questioning herself, yet again. First fear, and now embarrassment? If, indeed, embarrassment was the proper term for it... "I think we should keep going this direction," she offered, more from the need to say something then to actually offer a thought out opinion. She was making this up as she spoke. "Maybe if we keep going in one direction, we'll find a way out," she paused, having just thought of something as she was speaking, "and it might be good to mark where we turn. This place is built like a maze."It's better to light a candle Than to curse the darkness.

Sinopa shrugged as she suggested where to go. He didn't have any better options, himself. Although, he did smile when she mentioned marking where they turned... "I suggest you do the marking. I don't have anything to mark with...unless you want me to try pissing in whatever direction we go. Though, even if we did that, you'd be lost without me." Was he poking at the fact that he was an animal? Yep. But she knew that already. Had to. Not that it mattered. It was a poor plan, anyways. He'd need a lot of water to pull it off.

~Lisa~
Lisa continued to cry for several more moments before her tears dried up. She was shaking from her fear and loneliness. She wasn't going to get anywhere by feeling sorry for herself. Lisa slowly got out of the bed which she had been in and looked around. Was she mistaken to begin with? Was she not in a hospital?
She looked around the room, nothing seemed like a hospital-like but the walls and the bed. But she had seen any doctors or nurses to check in on her.
Lisa looked around the room confused for several minutes before she started to hear voices, from what seemed like down the hall from where she was. A part of her wanted to stay in the room, afraid to come out, but she hated to be alone.
Halfheartedly, Lisa walked through the door of her room, walking close to the walls, soon coming around to a group of people walking her way. She pressed herself against a corner in attempt to watch them from a distance and perhaps not be seen.

Ϣeather is a great metaphor for life - sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad, and there's nothing much you can do about it but carry an umbrella. ~Pepper Giardino ѴȺϒȖ Current Mood: ☀ Current Theme Song: The Butterfly { ooc: Bwuh. I should probably be going to bed...or studying some more...feh.} Ѡrowl went the stomach, groan responded the demon. "Guh...I'm surprised I haven't passed out or somethin' yet." muttered the demon as he leaned against the wall, most of his weight being put on his shoulder as the creature stared a head. The creature let his hands run through his hair momentarily, feeling his nails gently scrape against his scalp before he used his right arm (the arm leaning against the wall, mind you) to push away from the wall. The acidic smell of smoke and chemicals began to float to Vayu's sensitive nose, causing him to wrinkle it in disgust. Taking his pointed and thumb finger of his right hand, the sea green haired being pinched his nose, moving forward to find something to eat. There had to be something here...
Another growl interrupted his thoughts, the being narrowing his eyes, left hand turning into a fist so he could punch it until...he nearly gagged on the air he was breathing in. Thick smoke filled his lungs, causing him to cough and focus on what was going on in front of him. ...This was definately no barbecue. Stepping down the hall, the demon fought against the smoke before leaping back as a flicker of flame moved out to reach him. Not today, fire. "What the...?" Any hopes of getting food dashed as he once again gagged on the air around him. Unhealthy, disgusting, black air. Staring at the flickering flames that writhed and squirmed within the room, the demon soon turned on his heel and quickly went back the way he came.
Normally he would have faced the challenge but currently...
With a forlorn sigh, the demon held his hand up and snapped his fingers, watching as a small swirl of wind became visible, brushing against his finger before vanishing completely. Hunger had something to due to his lack of energy, most definately. The fact he had been bound for many years added to it, as well as his lack of movement for the years he had been crammed in a seal and then asleep. Yawning and stretching once more (and letting out a sigh as his back popped in a wonderful sensation), the demon moved forward, turning down one hallway, than another, before he finally took notice that he was moving slower than he had before. "Ugh...What's with ya, Vayu? You used to be able to handle much more than this..." He couldn't help but speak to himself as he continued onward, his bare feet dragging on the cold floor. Allowing his head to fall to his chest as he moved forward, the demon inhaled through his nose deeply, allowing the scent of laundry detergent from his shirt, smoke from the air, and the scent of humans and other creatures alike. He wasn't alone here, this he knew. He could sense it before he smelt it, really. He didn't know where they all were, but he knew they were here. He wasn't exactly concerned, either.
No, not concerned...more interested, to say the least.
"GAH, I'M SO HUNGRY."
Vayu didn't exactly like being hungry. He never had this problem back in the day. No, however, it was causing him great annoyance. Heck, he might even turn grumpy from lack of food, believe it or not!
That or just, you know...pass out.

    { S O R Y U J U }
"C'est l'amour."
"Thanks," Soryuju said immediately to Fallax as he took hold of the wheel chair and began to push for the blond. He heartily chuckled at the man's response to the 'blade throwing' threat; it was a funny enough response, but the fact that it wasn't sarcasm or a joking retort somehow made it that much more humorous.
"Well... to be honest, it's a headache, but that may just be me," he said, frowning as he massaged his temples. Now that he was forced to think about it again, the pain that he'd been ignoring seemed to flare, but only for a moment. "I'm assuming my powers are mentally controlled, which would explain the killer headache I have after that burst back there with the creeper. I mean, I still feel human, still feel entirely normal. It's like..."
He pondered for a moment, trying to think up the most appropriate analogy; it didn't take long.
"Sort of like working out a particular muscle type for the first time. You feel the anaerobic burning in places you didn't even know you could feel," he explained, relating the current experience to one of the times he'd gone working out with a friend of his- Bazran, that crazy-a** adrenaline junkie. "This is pretty similar; when I use it, it's like the part of the brain that's meant to control this has never been used before, or is jut completely new. And I know I didn't have this kind of stuff before waking up here because I've been sucker-punched a time or two... no such barrier-luck- huh?"
Soryuju's attention was immediately diverted by movement he saw down the end of the hallway. He tensed almost immediately, but upon further inspection, relaxed; it was just a young woman.
"Hey! Lost?" he called out, hoping to test the waters- friend or foe?

~Lisa~
Lisa let out a small startled gasp as someone of the group spotted her and actually addressed her. She pressed her body closer to the wall, as foolish as it may look, to try and make herself not be seen.
But they wouldn't go away. She figured if one could spot her, the rest would soon say something. Though she was scared, Lisa pushed off of the wall and took a small step towards them.
"I can't say," she said in a soft voice, "I don't even know where I am."

[... ʈheƪesis Ʌdeƪƪa ƪaurςeƪ ...] [ ƒloor 1 | ȿection Ʌ | ɧallway ]"A needle and thread is your best friend!"
Thelesis craned her neck and smiled back at Elijah, shrugging lightly. "Oh, I usually like making everyday outfits but when I get commissions from customers it ranges to a variety of things. This time, some woman wanted me to make her a Renaissance Faire outfit." The teen smiled broadly at the child as he was perched on his brother's back. It made her miss her childhood days when she and her brothers would play chicken in the pool and how she would constantly ask Hayden for a piggy-back ride. She sighed as the wave of nostalgia that hit her.
At that point, Sory called out to someone in front which made her turn to look. Another person? Thelesis frowned, just slightly; this person looked a bit scared like if she tried hard enough, she could just sink into the wall or become a piece of furniture. And so, Thel tried to smile reassuringly as she heard the girl speak, almost missed it though since she spoke so softly. "Neither do we, if that makes you feel better."

.Thea. Thea couldn't help but smile at that. The image of Sinopa running around as a fox and peeing on every corner... well, it was funny. Though she was generally a serious person, she had a very keen since of the ridiculous, and a good sense of humor regarding it. "I was thinking more along the lines of scratch marks," she said, still smiling, "I could cut a sign with ice... or," she added slyly, "you could use your claws." She faced him squarely then, letting the moment hang in the air, that moment she finally acknowledged what he had turned into, then said, "I was wondering why you reminded me of a puppy," and began walking down the hall. It's better to light a candle Than to curse the darkness.

Sinopa started to follow after the girl, smiling. "Sweetheart, no offense, but fox claws? Yeah, not that great at clawing walls. Just in case you didn't notice, I was using teeth more than claws in that fight." Of course, at the puppy comment, he frowned a bit. PUPPY?! He was vulpine, not lupine. Of course, he couldn't let something like that small 'observation/opinion' affect him too much. "So, you're just trying to explain my innate cuteness by that? Nice try, but the cuteness isn't from the fox, it's all me." Smirking, he stuck his thumbs in his pockets, willing her to make a comeback. Or blush. Blushing was a good sign, too.

.Thea. "Hmph," Thea replied, not blushing in the slightest. She stopped a moment and turned back to him, as he was still following behind her. With a snap of her fingers she said, "Heel, puppy," and pointed to the ground, fighting to keep her expression serious. They had just come to the end of the hallway. It opened up into another hall, and looking left and right would reveal more of those strange doors, and more turns and openings along the way. This place really was a labyrinth. She wondered how exactly she would mark this. On the floor? With an arrow? On the walls? It was something to think about. It's better to light a candle Than to curse the darkness.

"Fear. Fear is my ally." "I know you, I devoured you once upon a dream~"
The sound seemed to be coming from the left corridor, slowly approaching. A light would dim every few moments before brightening, followed by the next closest one dimming. However, there was no person in sight. Despite this, the voice was easy enough to recognize as a male.
"I know you, your ear-piercing scream is so delicious a scream~"
The tune he sang was eerie, disembodied and practically haunting in the light-hearted way it was sung.
"And I know it's true, that what I do~ may be~ extreme~"
The last light that flickered, which was right next to the one above their heads, seemed to flicker more than the others before finally going out; followed by all the lights within 20 feet.
"It's all taboo, but I love what I do~," the voice sang before there was a bright flash of light, followed by a powerful boom of thunder; the lights turned back on, and there in front of them, directly under the light that had originally gone black, was the white-haired hellion. Though his eyes were hidden behind a veil of white bangs, it was obvious he was staring at Thea, a devious smirk on growing on his features.
