Due to the unfortunate fact that I have a weak stomach, there are few scary movies I can actually see...especially considering that the entertainment industry now seems to think that gore = horror, which isn't true.
Anyway, a few parts in The Sixth Sense made me jump, as with a few parts of The Others. (I'm still proud to say that I was the only one in the theatre who didn't jump when the cupboard was thrown open...)
There's this one old movie that my mom told me about, and I finally got a chance to see it a few weeks ago. It's called Wait Until Dark With...Audrey Hepburn I believe...I won't spoil anything, but there was a part near the end that made me jump out of my seat, and my friend did as well. (Afterwards the part seemed kind of dumb.) It's an awesome movie. See it if you get the chance! mrgreen

I get scared by lots of movies, so I try to do things that will upset the audience to make up for it, like, uh... making out passionately with some other guy in the middle of the bible belt or, Colorado Springs (home of Focus on the Family and, quite possibly, the Devil.)
Or doing Pen & Teller's Fork-into-Own-Eyeball trick (the one that uses a package of liquid dairy creamer as described in HOW TO PLAY WITH YOUR FOOD.)
Or that one trick with hot dog weenie and the popcorn. (Make sure you offer to the nice old lady on your right! It has EXTRA BUTTER.)
I've been like this ever since I started crying at the scary part in the Rugrats Movie. Reptar was coming for me! I swear!

[x]Living Dead Girl[x] Tell Sun I was never, totally, piss-my-pants scared by any Horror movie...The Ring made me shove my fingers infront of my eyes and ask 'is it that bad?' but that was at night and I was ....12...13-ish? sweatdrop
Otherwise...movies these days don't scare me. I love gore. So many people thought that movie was the scariest thing. That movie was SO cheesy. I didn't even see any attempts at being scary xp The Ring sucked a**!!! Its just another Japenese remake!!! If you wanna see a scary movie, see The Evil Dead. (Not that it scared me, but it would scare the hell out of almost ANYONE!!!!)

Rehab Doll The Ring gave me insomnia for six months, but it's also my favourite movie. The only movie that made me lose sleep was The Shining. Those little girls asking you to come play...creepy stuff.
