The Divine Kitten Brenli DeadDreamerDie Brenli For Halloween I'd like to do a Playboy Bunny Totchi (The one with the black fuzzy ears) but I don't know how to go about getting the ears or the material for the ears... Hee hee, that would fun xd Hmmm, I dunno if it's just my area, but you can get bunny ears easily (and cheap!) at any random costume store or something...? Ah, but are they all-black super big fuzzy ears? It's okay. Today I have saved a pair of large bunny ears that were going to be trashed. They are white, but I will dye them black, I guess. And they could be fuzzier, but I'm pressed for time and very sick. So these will do. See, now I don't have to be all normal and goth myself out for Halloween! I get to actually BE someone! If you have a JoAnne Fabrics near you, mine has really fuzzy black fur stuff. Lucky people who get to be people. JoAnnes still hasn't gotten the fabric I need and I didn't buy enough pvc >< I can't wait to see all the costumes ^.^ The one here doesn't have the fuzzy black fur stuff. crying ; I looked for fuzzy black fur fabric to make my fuzzy coffin purse {from the Gothic and Lolita Bible XD There's a pattern for it in there XD}, and they don't have any that's good. crying ;

sweatdrop Well my TotchiUsa is basically complete! But due to some impatience issues, my meshy shirt has holes TOO BIG. I am attempting to mend it now. sweatdrop

Get them holes fixed soon xd Can't wait to see you in it, 'cause you are posting photos, right? xp I also went shopping to get more stuff for my Kyo Cage outfit... So far I think I've basically got everything but I just can't seem to find the right jacket! gonk

Aw, my Kyo CAGE cosplay outfit is kinda like that, but in the fact that I left things to the last minute so it got rushed gonk It's all gone pretty wrong crying The shirt and jacket's too long and the skirt-y thing is too short so it's hard to see >_>" I also know I've cut the skirt wrong sad And the jacket is too big for me round the shoulders and I look like friggin' Frankinstein or something @_X I also don't have the right boots or trousers... Waaaaa~!!! ;___; Maybe I shouldn't cosplay as him...>_<" I'm putting him to shame...sorry Kyo-sama... crying

biggrin HEYLO! Well, the day is done and I am done flaunting my TotchiUsa cosplay, my first Diru cosplay, and my second cosplay ever! (The first was Sadako.) Any who, I've been going off about pictures, so here they are! PICTURES! Some will probably be too dark; if they are, simply adjust your screens. I also had to resize them so some of the quality of the images are crap. ANYWAY! PICTURES! (Be prepared for long post)  (Offers an overall okay view of the cosplay, except for the necklace. You can see my cuffs and stuffs. Also, note the meshy shirt and how some parts are uniform hexagons while others are spider-web knots gone wrong. Yeah, I learned that my thread just doesn't cut it, and neither does trying to sew in strands bit by bit. I need to learn how to actually knit or crochet.)  (Another good shot of the whole cosplay, except you can't see my cuffs.)  (A closer look. Note the collar being tweaky at the back of my neck. It's because the collar's too big. It and the bow tie were having issues.)  (Another head shot. The only reason I like it is because I like my hair wrapped around my finger. Note the tail at the back of my head. I go through a LOT for a cosplay, but that doesn't mean I'm going to sacrifice my long, beautiful hair!)  (No reason for this shot. I just think it looks cool.)  (Knowing full well ahead of time that few people would know who I really am and confuse me for your generic Playboy Bunny, I made a proof picture, featuring writing clearly stating that neither I nor Totchi are Playboy Bunnies.) (...) (And while I'm at it, here's the actual proof picture.)  ... Well this by far has the to be one of the largest posts I've posted. Notice that I didn't get a full body picture. That's because I only had one reference pic to go by, so I had no idea what the waist down looked like. If you must know, I wore an ankle-length black skirt with a slit going up the left side, right to the knee. Over-the-knee black stockings with grommets along the outside of each thigh, and my infamous Totchi New Rocks, which are pictured earlier in this thread. And I am SO done with this post! Stare and enjoy!

KAWAII~!!!!!!!!!! ^^ Waii, your cosplay looks great, Brenli! ^^ *wishes she could've cosplayed* I don't have any pictures of what I wore today, but I wore a red and black Chinese-style dress with knee-high black vinyl platform boots, spiderweb tights, black eyeliner, black and red lipstick {the top lip was black and the bottom was red, with black coming down from the corners around the edges of the red to a little away from the center of my mouth {like Ruki from Gazette ^^}. My hair was just down {it's medium-dark brown and about down to my waist X.x;}. I wore my silver/grey demon wings with it. ^^

biggrin I'm glad you liked it! I went through a LOT to make it look like that, so postive feedback = yes! Of course, professional critisism is welcome, too. I like knowing what I can improve on!
And by the way, I own a black and red "Chinese dress" (I believe by the cut you'd call it a cheongsam). Did you get yours at Hot Topic?

Yeah, I did. ^^ I also got the boots there. The wings are from the Renaissance Festival, and the tights are from Meijer's and are just a little too small. XD But they fit around the legs, which is good. ^^ I feel so stupid for not knowing what the dress is called. X.x;

Haha! XD Sounds like me when I was eating ice cream at school. ^^ My red and black lipstick got all over a white plastic spoon, which prompted my friend to steal the spoon and show it off. Anyway, if you feel like getting on messenger, I'd appreciate it. ^^; Most of my other conversations died.
