"I will never need healing. In my life, the pain is the only thing that's real." James said he walked behind Adelaide. He was referring to all though who had lied, stolen, and harmed him. And of course the pain he caused them in return. He looked around at the roman's and put his hand on his sword. He really wanted to kill them...

James looked at Kenda. "Hello..." He said as he set his shield on the floor and then the net around his waist. That was all he really needed to stash. He could move rather fast even with his sword, axe, and daggers. "I am James." James said. He began looking around. He noticed several guards. They were not crooked. He quickly turned his head "That's why I don't talk to people..." He whispered.

James followed Kenda. It went against what he knew but he did. He was in a strange place tied between to rules in the code. Rule 1: Kill the guards you see, and Rule 2: Respect the wishes of woman. He went with rule 2 because he could tell that him against three guards in public would draw too much attention. But for some reason he felt the girl walking towards the guards would get hurt. He knew more about these guards then they did. Those were the guard that had kept him imprisoned.

James walked into the room and set his shield and net next to the bed. The he set his sword and Axe next to the hatch that would let him escape through the street. "Kenda, how did they know I would be here?" James asked. One thing she and her friend had not seen was the poster of James that the short guard was holding. "If they know I am here it is not just three of them. You should check again. You counted three. I'll tell you my count when you return, and thank you..."

James picked up his sword and walked out of the room "Ten. The first three came in the front a few minutes ago, the other seven are off duty but all willing to kill and or hunt me down." He looked back at them at one of them saw him. The guard stood up and pointed at James. The three Paulie was talking to pushed her into the wall and made a quick attempt to arrest her. They wouldn't have much but once she went into the dungeon with some of the other men she would be broken. "Told you. If you know how to fight get my axe, if not go into the room and wait..." James said as he turned to Kenda.

"Now for the fun." James walked out into the tavern and looked around. He saw eight going toward Paulie and only to going for him. He knew sooner or later they would get her so he had to make it fast. He stabbed the first guard, his sword cutting through the man like butter then he putted his sword and and swung at the second. The man guarded himself using his gantlet. Then James dropped his sword, it was two heavy to fight this man with. This man was fast. He punched James three times before James could land a single blow. Then the man threw James over the counter into the wall. James took a knife from his boot and threw it at the man. I buried itself in his eye.

The men Paulie hit fell down. Then one of the eight approached her from behind and grabbed her arms when another in front of her tried to punch her. Another tried to hit her in the stomach and another tried to hit he in the neck. One in the back just shouted "the boy's will like her."

One of the rather large guard punched Paulie in the stomach and then threw her into the wall again. "They sent a b***h to do a man's job!" The man claimed. James turned him around and snapped his neck. "Your right, they did send a b***h to do a man's job." James said referring to the now dead, but still massive guard. Then he was thrown into the counter again. This time he was surrounded by two guards who continued to punch him repeatedly. More guards filed in and some went after Paulie with the same intent as the guard now choking on his own blood from having his tongue bitten. After a few more punches James had broken his nose and his face was covered in blood. The guards beating James left him and began breaking things.
