The red-faced rock lies. So you do the opposite of what it says and it will lead you right to the treasure.

You are very welcome, ladies. I'm sorry, Squanda, I didn't realize that wasn't your main account. I was trying to go off the colors of your avatars sweatdrop . I'm glad you all liked the prizes, though.

Don't apologize. It's awesome. And this is my main account, I just made another one to try out the different clothes on here cause I only change this one if I find something that will make it look more like Rinoa. Plan on changing my name soon too, just not sure what I want to change it to.

Y'all guessed it: The red-faced rock is a complete liar.

Next Question:

Limit breaks and all magic aside, tell me...

What actions can you take to cause over 9,999 damage in one hit?

(I doubt I'm right but I wanna try still)
If you use a Phoenix Down on an undead enemy, they will instantly fall, thus causing unlimited damage to them.
Also, if you have Odin or Gilgamesh and they use the Zantetsuken it is a one hit kill, thus dealing unlimited damage to all enemies. ninja

Against Undead enemies, an Elixer, Megalixer, or Phoenix Down will cause 9,999 damage against an enemy.
You can also use the Abilities Recover and/or Revive against Undead enemies to deal the same amount of damage(iffy with the Recover though).
Even though it invovles magic, if you successfully cast Zombie on a living opponent, you can use the previous two methods to deal that amount of damage to them as well.

Oh, you can also boost a GF attack to 255 and if the GF is at a high enough level(with the appropriate SumMag %'s learned and compatibility maxed out), there's the potential of dealing 9,999 damage.

I hope I got it in there somewhere. sweatdrop

The ways you can cause more then 9,999 damage in one hit:
1. Kamikaze command
2. Cactuar's 10,000 needles
3. Chocobuckle (only if you have the Pocketstation or a Game shark wink )
4. Recover, Revive, or recovery items on an Undead/Zombied enemy
5. Devour
6. Death stone

I think I got most of them. I didn't put GF's on the list because of the sheer range of damage they can inflict. You all get full points. mrgreen

How would you get two Weapons Monthly 1st magazines, without ever visiting the Lunatic Pandora?

The book store in Esthar sells it if you have Tonberry and his Familiar ability.

While playing as Laguna in the past, you can find an issue on Odine's laboratory after you listen to the entire conversation between Odine and his aides then leave and return. 3nodding

Very good. mrgreen Weapons Monthly 1st magazine can be picked up in Odine's Laboratory as Laguna and can be bought from Esthar's bookshop.

I must admit, I made a mistake in the question last night. I actually meant before you enter Esthar at all. I noticed my error too late, so you all get full points. The answer to the question as I meant it, to satisfy the curious, is:
You can obtain Weapons Monthly 1st magazine with Angelo Search from Adamantoises after they have cast White Wind.

Let's continue...
