I did not. I did not want a repeat of yesterday of standing in the cold with a fever. There IS a lot of snow here.

It is nothing glamorous but it pays. I am one of Walmart's lackeys in their Garden Center. Means for plenty of fresh air, dirt, and plants, but in the winter months I have been hauling around Christmas since a week before Halloween.
If it was not for all the human interaction, sudden long hours, the bitter cold and exposing me to their germs, things would not be so bad

Rrr, I know how horrid that can be. Second hand, of course. (I'm more of an office job person than an outdoors person.) My boyfriend worked at various landscaping jobs for about a year as a general grunt. He'd leave at 6 in the morning and return at 10 at night, with all the travelling and needing to get jobs done. =< It paid really well, but in the end he stopped turning up for work it was so taxing...

How many character hate Harata at the moment? Lucky she's thick skinned.

I hope I have not already reached the end of my rope. I have car payments to make and food that needs buying first to be eaten
Thankfully I work with a bunch of great people, and oftentimes they're more than happy to let me stand around and deal with customers for them. Although if that isn't a stressful thing to help customers ... -grits teeth and makes murderous throttling motions-

O Righteous Overseer Hate is too strong of a word for the Pseudoverseer Fine. Correction: Who thinks Harata is a nasty brat at the moment? The captain does.

She and Bakar are the only ones. "Shame on you Coline. I thought you were level headed, and didn't judge by face value." Lulz. I know it's nothing personal.
