But got away with it Bonnie and Clyde did.

The girl watched, her facial expression stoic, as her Pidgeot flew off with the Absol in his clutches. So they had done it! All of their battling and their hard work for the day had finally paid off. Hands slipping into the pockets of her pants, Bonnie turned and followed along behind Clyde and off in the direction of Seth. It was hard to hide her satisfaction now - in fact, she couldn't do it.

The two of them had succeeded. They had managed to steal not one, but two pokemon. Seth would surely be pleased with the spoils of their labor, too, and that was the best part of this whole ordeal. So what if Bonnie got a pokemon? The fact that the Elite trainer would be satisfied with their captures was all that the girl cared about.

Clyde didn't even look back at the two trainers trapped inside the ring of fire as he ran ahead, the now fainted Pandora flopping around on his shoulder. He was well ahead of the rest of the group, breathing a little heavily after running with a heavy pokemon on his shoulder. Clyde calmed himself and walked forward, trying to look strong and awake, which he failed at, since his hair was frazzled-looking and if Pandora's tail got any closer to his shirt, it would catch on fire. Regardless, he approached Seth, "We've- that is Bonnie and I, have captured two pokemon, a Misdreavus and a shiny Absol. Bonnie and the pokemon are bringing them now." He stated. The Grunt stood there for a moment before realizing that Pandora had probably fainted by now and could be returned to her pokeball. He casually flipped open her pokeball and returned her without a word.

A Misdreavus and shiny Absol he said? "Oh really..." Seto replied with a lifted brow. He would have to see it to believe this.

Also, he wondered why Clyde hadn't bothered his obviously incapacitated Charmeleon until now. Well whatever.

"Really."

Bonnie had finally caught up with her friend, it had seemed. The girl's arms were crossed over her chest as she gazed at the Elite Rocket. Just as expected: Seth didn't believe a word Clyde had said, nor would he until he had some definite proof. Well, the girl had brought him that proof. A shadow could be seen flying over their heads, and then it got bigger as the pokemon the shadow belonged to swooped down and landed gracefully on the ground.

Cyclone had made it with the fainted Absol in tow.

With the Absol right smack in front of him, Bonnie also pulled out the string of beads belonging to the ghostly pokemon. This would also prove as evidence of their second steal of the day. Two pokemon instead of one -- Bonnie and Clyde hadn't done that bad, to be perfectly honest. A whole lot better than some of the other Grunts, that was for sure. The two of them worked well together, and if anything showed that, it would have been this entire mission.

Her smile softened as she leaned over to get a view of the screen, to see the equations that the boy had. As she did so, she attempted to brush her fingers near his leg, and where the ball was sitting. It was a test run to see how he would react before she actually attempted to steal the pokeball, if she could.

Than, she leaned back and let out a laugh at his comment.

"Well, I'm not too keen on numbers, but I'm always willing to learn new things, and I'm sure it has to be fun for a guy like you to be so interested in it!" She moved her head back with her laugh, keeping an eye on his movements and calculating her next ones.

When her fingers brushed his leg, Matt jumped a little, his face turning beet red, and began sweating even more.

"Meep! I mean.... ahahaha... ah... Really?"

At that moment, she decided that she would just have to go for it. If all else failed, she could call Senka or Dima to arrange a more direct approach. Hopefully he would be too distracted by her to even notice.

"Of course, I love to learn new things and I'm sure you are a great teacher...so tell me..." she leaned over again, setting her hand on his waist before sliding her fingers quickly to grip the pokeball at his belt, all the while leaning close and looking between him and the computer, "What exactly are you looking over right now?"

She spoke softly and lidded her eyes, her face inches from his own and hopefully bringing enough of a distraction for her to steal it. Once her fingers were where the pokeball was, she quickly leaned some more and conveniently pushed into him toward the edge of the bench. If she did it just right, they would hopefully fall and give her a chance to snatch the ball.

Clyde scoffed, folding his arms over his chest as well. "Of course we caught them! No way were letting a shiny go, and a misdreavus isn't bad either." He grinned at Bonnie, "We make an awesome team."

Paydirt! "Really now?" She glanced toward the table with a smile, an idea occurring to her. She let out a low whistle as if impressed. "My, that is a nice selection. I may have to think seriously about this. It'll be a hard choice to make!"

Overhead, the bird Pokemon heard the low whistle carrying easily on the wind. It was a signal worked out between her and her human, and she banked quickly to turn back towards the pair and the stand. With a loud, shrill trill, she folded her wings and dove earthward, claws outstretched.

At the noise, Sierra glanced upward, feigning shock and surprise. "Lookout!" She dove for the little girl, seeming to be trying to shield her from harm...but taking the opportunity of chaos to try and stealthily snag the Pokeball from her belt and stow it within her own jacket. Hopefully, with all the noise and jostling, she wouldn't notice Sierra's light thief's touch.

Meanwhile, Celeste had landed near the table, helping herself to a couple cookies with a happy trill. "No! Bad bird! Those are not your cookies!" Sierra frowned, putting on her scolding act for Celeste, who dipped her head in appropriate shame. "I'm sorry...she loves Sugar Eevees. She can't seem to remember not to eat them if they're not hers, however," she added with a pointed glare back at the pouting Pokemon, her attention back on the girl now.

Had she managed her sneaky theft? If so, she needed to make a quick exit before the child noticed anything amiss...

"I know!" the girl giggled happily. "They're all so good its hard to choose sometimes!" The girl was so enthralled with a potential sale that she didn't even see the Pidgeot coming down from behind.

When Sierra shouted, the girl just blinked, "Huh?" And then was pushed to the ground, her pokeball getting snagged without notice.

Instead the girl was just stunned for several moments, before seeing the big bird eating some of her cookies. The girl's eyes got big.

"Oh wow... uh thanks ma'am!" She was sure glad to have not been hit by that big bird!

Hayes had a plan, and it went something like this: scout out a likely target, present himself in a benign, friendly manner to lull them into a false sense of security, strike.

..Or he could step onto the street and get catcalled. That worked too.

"Hm?" He paused, half-turned and.. well, hello. An easy grin spread across the blond's features and he faced the woman fully with a relaxed stance, hands in his pockets, while Switch stared. Handsome? What?

"Could be both. Loser treats the winner?"

User Image

"You're on," the blonde replied, giving Hayes a flirtatious grin.

"Ladies first, right?"

With that, she tossed her Pokeball into the air to release the Pokemon inside.

"Cute," Hayes commented on the Pokemon, but his eyes were on his human opponent. Switch twitched his nose at the jingly.. thing, and was dislodged by a shoulder shrug. "You ready, buddy?"

Switch had never been impressed by the little bell Pokemon. They looked like Skitty toys and though he'd never admit it, he'd had an urge to bat them around since he'd first seen one. Here was a perfect opportunity.

The Pikachu leapt off Hayes' shoulder and landed foursquare on the pavement, cheeks crackling with anticipation. "Pika!"

The geek swallowed hard.

"Oh... you know... just the... Quantum physics law of attraction.... erm..."

He gulped again as she leaned into him, causing him to lean back until finally he teetered on the edge of the bench... the weight of his labtop and Nadali helping to push him over the edge with a thud and a clatter. "Ow!"

She fell with him and landed on top, the laptop clattering to the side of both of them. Quickly, with her hand still on the pokeball, she attempted to pull it back as she got up, sputtering apologies like the act she had. Hopefully, he wouldn't have caught on.

"Really, I'm so sorry about that...I guess I just got carried away..."

"No problem, sweetie," she answered the little girl with a smile. "My silly girl just has a horrible sweet tooth. She probably eats more cookies than I get most times. Probably why she's so big, huh?" She winked, laughing a bit.

Honestly, she was practically bubbling over inside with the success of her sneaky grab! Why do things by force if you could remain quiet and in control? Work smart, not hard.

That was sort of the point of things anyway, right, since they were here in disguise?

Now, to get away with her prize without making a fuss. She stood, walking over and waggling her finger at Celeste, who ducked her head lower as if shamed. "Tsk tsk, stealing cookies and scaring little girls. What am I do to with you?" Celeste cooed softly, looking up with sad eyes and attempting to nudge her trainer with her head. Seeming to fight a smile, Sierra shook her head. "You're hopeless."

She turned back to the little girl, hands on her hips. "Well, I need to make this right. We're staying nearby at the Pokemon Center while traveling. How about I go get some money from the rest of our things, then come back to pay you for the lost cookies as well as a couple extra boxes for the spoiled bird here? You just keep up the good work of being adorable, and we'll be right back, 'k, hon?" She lightly touched the child's nose with her finger, pouring on the sugary sap with a grin.

That said, she scratched Celeste's head, received a happy trill, then began walking off down the street, as if to make good on her offer.

As Bonnie came in with the captured Absol and Misdreavus, Seth blinked once, a little bit surprised. Seems that Clyde hadn't been exaggerating after all.

"So I see..." he told the scoffing Clyde, and made a little note next to their names on his clipboard as well as which Pokemon they had come back with.

"I would think its safe to assume that you are keeping these Pokemon?"

Despite the Absol being a shiny, neither Seth or the Boss had any real use for it. Fodder was left for the grunts.

The female Rocket grunt nodded, the scarf on her head slipping down a bit as she did so. Pushing it back up, Bonnie peered over at Seth with a serious expression. With their mission completed, and considering how hard the both of them had worked, there was no way they'd be giving up the pokemon. If they did, then everything would have been a waste of time as far as she was concerned.

"We are," she stated, matter-of-fact. "Clyde gets the Absol, and I'm taking the Misdreavus. Oh, and we want to be partners," Bonnie added after she made claims for the pokemon. "As you can tell, the two of us work well together."

"Why thank you. Your Pikachu is rather adorable itself." The blonde chuckled lightly, watching as the little electric mouse took its place for battle.

"All right my little darling. Why don't we start off by giving the Pikachu a big hug?"

"Ching ching!" the Chingling cheered, floating over to Switch to Wrap its red and white appendages around him.

The nerd was so embarassed, his face flushing even further if that was possible, that he didn't even notice the slight difference in weight on his belt when the Pokeball was taken.

"Oh geez... oh geez... um its okay really!" Matt was just short of having a mental overload from the whole ordeal. His mental processes trying to comprehend what had just happened and only barely able to get himself and his laptop off the ground.

The little girl laughed at Sierra's jokes, having been totally fooled and even believing it when she said she'd come back to buy some of her cookies.

"Okay!" The girl grinning from ear to ear. She waved happily, eagerly anticipating Sierra's return that would never come. "Thanks again ma'am!"
