Been keeping up with my studies... doing a bit of dream walking... coaching Ari and Mari mostly... not succeeding too much myself, but they aren't doing too bad. And keeping Bez from going stark raving mad form time to time. How about you. Am I seeing right... that youngling of yours is glowing like a bonfire.... a nice cool blue bonfire... but nice and bright all the same." says Emnast walking over to where Tam is sleeping. He gently brushes some of the fur from the lion's eyes and sighs. "She's getting a little shabby again... Bez hates it when I do it, but I think she needs a bit of a trim."

Emnast shrugs. "I've been trying to talk to her personally, but she only speaks through the girls. And when I ask them what it is like... where she's at... all they say is it is bright and pretty... and Mommy glows. Truth is... I think she's gone home.... been called or something like that... sometimes Ari says she cries when they talk to her... I just don't know...."

Emnast shrugs. "Twenty years or so.... give or take one or two. We haven't been keeping track of anything but the flow of the seasons. The girl's are losing their baby teeth, if that says anything. I think my voice has finally settled in and I've gained a few more pounds here and there."

Emnast chuckles. "No... no Santa... Bez totally nixed that one. He said that night was too important to belittle it with commercialism... never took him to be so serious about stuff like that. No Easter bunny either.... He did let me dye eggs though."

Methinks Bezernia needs to learn what Santa represents...though I won't knock his reasons...and the bunny...well...can't really comment there...given that we went hunting for him once...remember that?

Emnast chuckles. "Me thinks it is because he was never a child. He's not adverse to giving gifts... says that is fine... as long as I don't over do it... and he let me put up an enchanted tree on Christmas. The girls loved that one... he also put out two tiny dishes last year for St. Nicolas' Day with a treat in it for them. So I think he means well... as for that dang rabbit... we never did find the right one... but our tummies were full, weren't they? And we got so sick... Mom was truly worried we'd had eaten a bad stone. You stopped eating meat right after that and stuck to bugs for ages...." he teases with a wink.
