Koko stepped up to where the water kepting stopping when the waves broke and watched it glitter with reflected light. She could only imagine what it looked like in the sunlight.
The puppies huddled together-Buster tried to warmth by crawling into her sweater. "You are like Drake," she laughed as she tried to get his back in the towel with Angel.

Judith watched the ocean quietly. She looked at Koko and saw her puppy issues and laughed too.
"Having some trouble?" She asked.

Drake smiled and watched the sea for a while, kicking the sand about with his shoes. Something about being by the sea was immensely satisfying and he closed his eyes and tried to think of nothing but the sounds of the water and seagulls, as if it was the breath of God himself.
He smiled and ran a hand through his hair after a little while, opening his eyes again and feeling much calmer. They were safe now, he thought. They could start over, and they were safe.
"Mhmn, it's beautiful." he said, putting his arms aroudn both of the girls.
But bloody freezing. Do you want to see if we can grab a warm drink? I reckon people will start cracking out the mulled wine already in the bars."
[I'm going to introduce Aridas at the bar if they go for a drink. I just had a funny thought, since Aridas is a daywalker he's going to essentially end up their personal lackey / estate agent since most business can only be done in the day lol]
[also another thought on the topic of drinks: alas, eggnog does not exist in england XD]

"Nothing I can't handle," Koko replied holding Buster slightly tighter so he didn't try again.
"Maybe just one," she replied to the drink offer.

"Sounds good to me. We should probably drop off the dogs first though." Judith said and put her free arm around Drake.
[It doesn't? xD I didn't know that. Adrias being their lackey would be funny. I was thinking about making another vampire character but I need to think of a reason they'd be in England since I want to make a cowboy][And I'm off to school now too. D: I've got a club so I'll be back late.]

[and yup, to my knowledge anyway, it doesn't exist. I imagine some places might sell it as a novelty thing, but it's certainly not common. Heck teh whole concept of eggs in a drink mistify me 0o]
Drake smiled. "great. and they'll probably let the dogs in, though juggling five of them might be difficult."
he flipped his collar up to guard against a bit more of the wind and looked forwards to getting inside again. While vampires were not affected by the cold badly or fatally - for example no cold breath poured from his mouth - it didn't mean that he couldn't feel it.
"maybe we should have relocated to California or somewhere instead." he joked and then made a move to head back to town.

Koko glanced back at the water as they headed back into town. Then, holding the pups firmly with one arm, she held Drakes hand with her free one.

"so are we dumping the dogs or taking them with?" he asked to confirm things, and pulled her hand upto his mouth to kiss it then breath hot air on it to warm her up. Only his 'undead' breath wasn't particularly warm.

"I suppose bars and puppies aren't exactly the greatest mix," Koko replied and smiled at the sweet gesture. "It might be better to drop them off quick."

They headed back to the hotel and headed up the lift again to drop the dogs off in their room.
"It'll be good for Yoki and Bly to have some alone time with 'em anyway." he said with a smile, though he was unsure if the concept was in any way the same for dogs as humans. Bly and Yoki seemed like tender parents though, so maybe a little time as a pack would be nice for them.

Yoki assumed her position at the pups cuddled down and fed again. Bly settled down at her side and let her use his head as a pillow.
Koko smiled at the little family. "Yeah," she replied hooking her arm with his. Then they headed out to the bar-Drake leading the way.
