[[Nice break out.]] Felincia was ready for battle. Like all the hunters, she was completely covered in weaponry. These weapons, like her clothing, disappeared during transformation - so she transformed into a cat, had some weapons strapped on to that form, and transformed back. Now she was armed in both bodies. It was easier being armed as a human, though, where she could access the weapons on her wrists and arms with her hands. She watched as cats began yowling and hissing, leaping toward Keepers with claws unsheathed. "Don't hurt the cats!" she screamed. "It's not their fight!" Quickly, she began firing tranquilizers at the felines, and the hunters followed her lead. The domestic cats were easily dispatched. Felincia oversaw the carrying of the cats as they were safely taken out of harm's way. She planted a kiss on top of Jerry's soundly-sleeping head, then straightened and turned toward the werewolf mansion. She heard her father yelling an order: "First rank, fire! Retreat!" A hissing sound split the forest in two - Keepers carrying fire-brands shot their first volley and retreated back under cover. Fire-brands were a weapon Felincia had helped her mentor create. They shot gas into the air at a timely speed and density so that it did not burst into flames until the liquid began descending. Which meant whoever was being fired upon wouldn't know what was coming until they were hit. Yelps erupted and flames licked the sky on the other side of the wall.

They painted up your secrets With the lies they told to youAnd the least they ever gave you Was the most you ever knew
The werewolves made use of the fire descending on them. Abby yelled for them to fire. To make it look like there were more werewolves, each wolf launched three arrows. The arrows caught fire and rained down on the retreating keepers. Abby still had to duck under a stone outcropping to keep from being barbecued.
"Fire again!" she called out as another barrage of arrows went down. She stepped out from under the stone ledge she was under. Soon enough they would have to go into a hand-to-hand combat. The gas for the fire would run out and so would the arrows.
Abby howled encouragement to all of the werewolves. The fire had taken out several of them though. She hoped their numbers did not go too low before the combat part.
[[Thanks. I was tired of her being in a hospital, particularly during the big fight scene >.<]]
And I wonder where these dreams go When the world gets in your way What's the point in all this screaming? No one's listening anyway

[[Question: some of your werewolves must be in human form, right? Because how can you shoot arrows with paws?]] Felincia slapped a hand over her mouth as a curse she wasn't supposed to know escaped her lips. These werewolves were excellent archers, and were using their weapons right back at them. Advising her father to save the fire-brands for close combat, she pointed out another weapon: the Gnat Nest. Another one her mentor had created. The Gnat Nest was strapped to the wrist, and contained tiny pieces of metal - each coated in various poisons. The only way this would work accurately, however, would be to trick the werewolves into coming into view. The monsters would have to stand in order to shoot arrows - their heads became visible. If some troops were used as a decoy, attacking with bullets, then troops hiding in the background could fire the Gnats at the werewolves as they stood up to return fire.

[[Yup, some of them are]]
Abby ordered the werewolves to begin the charge. Wolves in human form on the wall would provide cover fire while wolves in wolf form ran a charge that Abby herself would lead all the way to the Keepers. She gave the order and all the archers stood up and shot another barrage of arrows at the keepers.
Abby had already led some wolves out of the trap door in human form. There were not many of them, maybe fifteen, but they were the fastest and strongest wolves at the mansion. She led them around the bend, now all as wolves, and charged at the Keepers. Abby reached the first one and clawed open his throat. What the Keepers had not fully been aware of was just how strong a werewolf's paws were. They could tear through metal in a single swipe. The pads on them were thick and tough. It took a lot to damage the paws of a werewolf.
Abby heard the wails of wounded archers, stung by the gnats. It broke her heart not to respond, but that would leave her throat exposed. as she had just see one of her wolves killed by howling and leaving his throat exposed, she was not keen on the idea.

Felincia discovered she had learned a lot of new words from somewhere. "Do these men know how to use their weapons?" she shouted as she shot poison darts - not Gnats, but larger ones meant for direct aim - into the werewolves. "They're experts!" her Dad shouted back. "Then use the weapons! Don't Xedod until last resort! I'm going with the small ones!" The 'small ones' were domestic cat Xedods. The plan was to transform into domestic cats, sneak away from the action, get to the trapdoor, transform while inside the tunnel, then attack the remaining werewolf force from the inside. It went as planned. Small ones were left unharmed, probably because the monsters' leader had warned them about their friends the alley cats. They made it into the tunnel completely unnoticed, and transformed into humans once they were out of sight. Felincia was one of the first to crawl silently out of the tunnel. She flattened herself against the wall as a few followed her. Gnat Nests, she signaled with her hands, pointing to the device. They fired on the defensive werewolves, then dodged back into the tunnel.

Have you ever woken up in a world you didn't belong in? Or ever been treated with pity and distance for what someone else made you. Or discovered that no one you loved was still alive, and known that you are not supposed to be. Or torn from your peaceful rest. Shaishuu was a vampire slayer. But she found release - for her hidden emotions, her fears, her confusion - in watching werewolf blood drip to the ground. Roaring and screaming like a veteran Hunter, she poured her weapons at the werewolves. First one died of poison, then another of a silver vampire-fang bullet. A werewolf pounced on her, but she thrust it away with one of her condensed-air-combustion containers. She followed up with a long dagger, slicing open the back of its neck. She spun around with the bloody dagger in hand and thrust it into the chest of a wolf that was leaping on another keeper. She shot a poison dart at yet another wolf, more silver bullets at others. She sliced and hacked, shot and roared. She wasn't aware of the words spilling out of her mouth. "For the dying! The raising! The changing! You! Did! This! Take! Back!"

Abby obtained a long gash on her side. It bled terrible. It hurt so much. Before she realized it, she was in her human form again. She was not sure who she tried to grab onto to keep herself up. It was a girl with long black hair, longer than her own, who was shouting strange things. Abby only managed a small moan before she fell to the ground.
She head some wolves shouting in wolf. A voice from the wall, one of the few still living called out "The leader has fallen!" Abby was barely aware that they were talking about her.

In truth that she learned, or the times that he cried Evangeline was flying over the battle. She noticed how Shaishuu was killing viciously. She watched a large, grand looking wolf got it's side split open she watched other get it's throat slit. when she turned back there was a child on the battle field.

Shaishuu heard a whisper come floating over the slaying - "The leader is down!" - and ignored it. She slashed, diced, thrust, cut, and once even bit the paw of a wolf that held her down too long. She swiftly ran out of gas, silver, bullets, and poison, so she resorted to a second dagger. She had excelled in two-hand dagger lessons, back when she had been truly alive. She slew wolves by the score.

Felincia was one of the ones who shot the second volley of poison at the remaining guards. There were at least twenty of them dead now. Retreating back into the tunnel, she whispered to the other small ones: "I don't know if there are any in the mansion, but I don't think they'd disgrace themselves as such. As soon as we kill all the guards, we'll burn the mansion anyway with our fire-brands." More Gnats, and some larger poison barbs, were shot. More werewolves died. Felincia was very proud of the poison they used. It was a combination of mercury and silver, plus other herbs and metals. It could kill vampire, human, animal, and werewolf.

In truth that she learned, or the times that he cried Evangeline swooped down onto Shaishuu's shoulder and cawed loudly in her ear. "Stop! There's a girl next to you!" she screamed in raven. It took a few scratches on Shaishuu's shoulder to get her attention.

[[ "There's a girl next to you!"??]] Shaishuu was momentarily torn from her frustration and anger by a raven that had decided to perch on her shoulder. She was bleeding in a dozen different places and she probably didn't want to know how much flesh she was missing, so it was the raven's squalling that brought her back to this world more than the scratching. She stood in a fighting stance - one used for vampires more than werewolves, but she couldn't help it - and stared hard at the raven. Then it hit her - "Evangeline?"

In truth that she learned, or the times that he cried [[I have a feeling you missed that part...Abby was trying to grab Shaishuu]]
Evangeline nodded. She perched on the unconscious body of a girl who looked well under the age of thirteen. 'Who sends a kid into a war?' she wondered to herself ans she flew back onto Shaishuu's shoulder. Evangeline used to love being a kid and having the talent to go into battle. Looking at a girl who was nearly dead though, she thought it was barbaric.

[[Huh?]] "Um... Evangeline, ma'am, you shouldn't be here -" Shaishuu began. Then an idea dawned on her. Ravens could fly. Unnoticed. Shaishuu bolted for Mr. Cain, assuming that Evangeline would follow her. When she reached the Senior hunter, she helped him fend off three wolves before panting out her request. Mr. Cain, uneasily, passed her a small, round metal object. Shaishuu handed the object to Evangeline, letting the raven grasp its small handle in her claws. "It's an explosive," she gasped. "Fly to the werewolf mansion, please ma'am, and take the pin out. Then, if you'd be so kind, drop it down a - a chimney or something." Shaishuu whirled around and slit a werewolf's throat.
