AMMON




Ammon is a tricky little beast. If you tick him off, he'll give you nightmares. He was utterly fine with that, until someone trapped him in the mind of someone having a nightmare. To survive it, he had to take control of the nightmare and make it a dream. His talents have been growing to affect more of the world around him. He's still a little snark.

SHORIN



Shorin is a very active little imp during the Summer, Autumn, and Winter, but he sleeps through most of Spring. He has terrible hayfever and the Spring just makes him itch and sneeze. He works hard shortening the days of Summer, by a little, Autumn, by a lot, and Winter, by more until the solstice when he is finally finished.

NEPTUNIA

Neptunia may not be as evil as her mother, Ursula the Sea Witch, but she isn't a cupcake, either. She has made friends with Orcasong and Titanae the sirens. They are drawn together by the bond that it would be either impossible or extremely weird if they ever had husbands as sirens cannot mate and the only male octoponies in the world at the moment are related to Neptunia by blood. They're also all a little evil.

Neptunia has spent a lot of time working on a portal to take her from the sea surrounding the island of ponies to a custom-made dungeon room in the magic guild so that she can learn and teach her aquatic magic. The portal is necessary because tunnelling through the bedrock to make her a direct route would not only be very difficult and time consuming, but it might awaken strange magic or creatures. Also, Neptunia gets a little claustrophobic and would not relish swimming down a tunnel beneath fathoms of rock.

Neptunia is a lady who knows how to get things done and is not afraid to barter or use dark magic to get what she wants. Happily, what she wants is not world domination, or else we would all be in serious trouble.

ORINDOR




Orindor is a powerful dragon who can make portals between dimensions. That is a simplification of his abilities; he would say that the dimensions are not inaccessible and that he does not build paths between dimensions, but in fact he creates doors to link the dimensions and the path is blocked by the door, which can be opened to allow access. If you don't understand that, it's fine. He makes portals.

He can refine doors between dimensions into objects; solid, real doors are possible, but he also creates portable portals out of small things, jewels, for example, which you can install in or above any door and use the door to open the portal in the jewel, or teaspoon, or set of car keys.

As a kind of intense, intellectual person, he's hard to talk to. This social sparseness is exacerbated by the fact that his area of weird study is in actually being somewhere else, so even when you think you might be getting somewhere with him, you might not be.

He's not mean, he's not nice, he's just bored.

ISKAN

Iskan is a bright light, which is odd, considering she's from a family of creatures who enjoy dark dwellings in the ground or the flesh of mountains and her heritage extends back to the very highest of the dark elves, the Drow. Iskan is not nerve-bashingly cheerful, no, she leaves that to her brother Nymphicus, who most resembles their darkest ancestry. Nor is she staid and watchful in keeping with her namesake, that she leaves to her brother Harameo, the proverbial stone block. She is not the beautiful show-off of the family, that she leaves to Sar Alora. Where does a girl fit?

Iskan loves the stars, though she is sure that she has the best view of them; if she were any closer to them, she would not be able to see so many. She loves to swim and spends time with Selphie when she is available. Iskan is honest and kind and a good student; she takes lessons under the directions of anyone who will teach her, including Caster, Eerinna, Brittania, and Jin Kyoshi. When they taught her all she could learn, she began visiting the magic guild to meet the other, sometimes scary, magic users.

Perhaps her very favourite person is her Aunt Oriahull, who insists on not being called 'aunt'. Oriahull is a quiet dragon who enjoys long, thoughtful journeys, and who does not mind a tag-along.

NYMPHICUS




Nymphicus is the only one of his dragon siblings to take after their Drow heritage. It is a good thing that he is a strong and powerful dragon, or those Drow would try and kill him for how fantastically cheerful, optimistic, and loving he is. He is flighty, contrary, and changing, but he has a warm heart.

When he met Mehranthyr, he went from someone who was a bit self-absorbed, like his sister, Sar Alora, to someone who was completely committed to helping someone who could see no worth in themselves. Nymphicus never lets Mehranthyr close himself off, or take offence at how sometimes his friend just wants to sit in a dark room being miserable. Nymphicus is immune to Mehranthyr's misery, for the most part, and tries to get him to be miserable outside amongst friends.

Nymphicus's cheerful grin eventually forces Mehranthyr to accept his suggestions, including; going to a party when he wanted to be by himself, accept that his nickname was 'Merry' even thought it's terrible and he wants to be left alone, and to eat things with more vitamins and minerals than a single Pop Tart every day. In short, Nymphicus is a wonderful companion.

TRITONAE



Tritonae is a gorgeous siren with a nasty streak. If she is annoyed, she will hold a grudge for ages. She can be violent, but she is also creative. She makes ornaments and jewellery, usually from shells or bones or clay; the accessories worn by the ponies of darker element are mostly made by her- honestly, you didn't think they were all real bones, did you?
