I've been looking forever for some art for Quint.
The good artists are all either full or on hiatus...it's killing me.. gonk

Or their prices are too unreasonable. >< Balancing between price & quality can be tricky. I'm not sure if my next one will be Naito or femme Natio again- my friends seem to like her look. sweatdrop

Yea, I've seen as much as 100k for a color full body pic. The artist wasn't even that great.
First time I've literally exclaimed at an outrageous price in my life.

Yeah, I've seen them up in that range. Unless Go Nagai or Kazuhiko Shimamoto have Gaia accounts, I wouldn't even consider going to such a shop even for a black & white sketch.

I think almost every other artstore in the post is completly unreasonable, i can't stand trying to buy art. Anything that's over 15K for a fullbody Colored piece is just rediculous. Being an artist myself, i know just how much work goes into them, and i don't think it's worth 2 donation items, One maybe.
That just goes to show you how desperate some people are for good art o.o

I don't pay more than 10-15K for a full color myself & that's if I'm regularly poll-whoring.

I've not had a single piece of "good" art ever for Druki.
As for prices...well, that's why most people that have them are often the friends of artists.

Really? I think out of all the avi art I've had done, I've kept in contact with only two artists. One was a freebee for a guild celebration so I knew him well before hand & the other just asks me to bump her store every so often. *shrugs* Not sure friendship has alot to do with it.
