Guiseppi looked at Uriyu and smirked a bit. "Do you really want to know the answer to those questions?" he asked, before continuing without pause. "Twice minimum, before each class, and three of four. As for the last... I cannot say." He didn't know exactly how much, and besides: if he were to reveal any of it, he'd no longer have it. It was secret information.

The Wolves Black Bird
She sat looking over the older woman, "But there is every right to be formal with one's elders."

She had to stop her hand from playing with the bone wolf that her teacher had given her. "You walked my dream, and there are only a few that can do that. So you have my respect and my honor as one of the Garou* demands that I walk carefully."

Shadowpaw smiled, "What would you have me do, Headmistress? You found me and lead me here. And I can tell by the group outside your door, that this place is a place for killers and magic users. What need do you have of me?"

((*Garou is the word her pack used to call themselves))

Perivia just smiled at the young wolf. A sense of calming came over the room as Perivia got up from her chair and began to walk around the room casually. "What you say is true, this school is for those that are skilled in the art of killing. But it is not all that this school is for." Perivia walked over to a shelf that was up against the far wall of the room and began to look over a crystal ball that was perched on one of the shelves. She picked it up and began to contemplate it, holding it in her hand and turning it every so often. It seemed that she could see something inside that many would not be able to. To anyone else it was just a piece of glass. "And I can assure you that I didn't simply bring you here because of a whim. I've been watching you for several months now. You are a very special individual, and I think you would greatly benefit from this school."

"This school can teach you so much young wolf. And in return you would be adding an element to this school that I haven't been able to find since young Guiseppi, and even he is a bit of a stretch. I'm sure you've been talking to the other students already, and I'm also sure you've noticed that several of them have already taken a liking to you. You, my dear, are a gem. Deadly, secretive, silent, but above all you're appealing. You can get people to like you, to trust you. It's a feat to blend in with the shadows, but it's a gift to blend in with society." Perivia had made it back to the desk and was now sitting back in her chair with the crystal in her left hand. She looked up from it and focused her sight-less eyes on Shadowpaw again as she spoke. "I ask that you become a student here at Unwelcome Boulder. Let the teachers train you in ways that would be beneficial to both your clan and the school. Let me make you stronger; physically, mentally. Aid this school for as long as you wish, then go back to the Garou and be the member that your family dreams they could be."

Shadowpaw smirked, "To blend in with human society is one of the most important tasks a Garou can undertake. But I will gladly take a place in your school, but I don't see what I can give back to it."

She eyeballed the crystal ball the Headmistress contemplated. She could faintly see the swirl of magic coming up from the crystal. "I also hear the students call this place the Unwelcome Boulder, why?"

((sorry if its sort its 1:28 am where I am and I'm running on fumes so hopefully that will be enough to keep the story going))

He wandered around the halls until he found an alchemy lab with students inside, so he continued on, looking for the supply closet. What he came across instead was another class room with no one in it, so he flipped the lights on and pulled everything out, even the sixty test tubes kept in a box. Lighting a burner, he dropped a few pieces of a pale-yellow grass he found and added some tiny red berries after pitting them out, after adding a small dose of 35 percent Sulfuric acid to break things down. In a small steel box he had on him, he double-checked the Cedar sawdust was still packed in tight and placed that on a rack above a second burner after sealing it. Now all he had to do was clean out a beaker to make sure nothing bothered them when he combined the two with the Saltpeter he had in his pocket.

Perivia's smile stayed on her face as Shadowpaw accepted her offer. "Oh, don't worry about that. The school's name is just one of many secrets it holds. It's up to you to discover them for yourself. It will all take care of itself in time." Perivia finally set down the crystal on her desk and opened up one of the drawers. From inside she pulled out a small file with Shadowpaw's name on it. She set the file on the desk within easy reach of Shadowpaw. Inside the file was Shadowpaw's class schedule, the basic map of school that every student received, and a short explanation about how the dorm system worked and a key for her own dorm room. Perivia sat up straight in her chair a bit as she explained. "Everything you'll need is in there. I'm sure you'll fit in perfectly here at Unwelcome Boulder." Perivia waved a hand at the doors to her office, immediately opening them with a slow creak. Perivia nodded her head once at Shadowpaw before motioning her hand towards the hallway. "I look forward to seeing your progress in the coming weeks Ms. Shadowpaw. But I seem to have a line forming, so you'll excuse me for being short with you."

"Why are you so hung up on the new meat?" Kippy Langston, a delicate blond who could slit a man's throat without batting an eye, cut her nails with her favored blade as she sat on the windowsill in the hall, her eyes locked steadily on Torin.

The rest of their group-Lino Morales, Twitch Filbin, Temprance Carmichael, Thomisina Decanter, and Jean-Paul Dubois, nodded in agreement, and Tor merely grinned, thinking of BJ, who, the last he knew, was on the treadmill, putting in her time in the gym.

"She's a Shadow Runner. You guys know how frigging awesome that is!" He exclaimed, and Twitch, called such because of the facial twitch he developed when annoyed or angry, shook his head, smirking.

"You're stuck on her, Wheeler. We're not idiots. So why the hell haven't you brought her around to meet us yet, your best buddies in the wide, wide world?" He demanded in his always-sarcastic voice, and Torin grinned, rubbed at the bruise on his jaw.

"She's not actually a people person. You gotta bribe her with Twinkies if you want her to talk." He laughed as he spoke, and around him his friends shared a knowing look. Oh yeah, he was a goner.

Shadowpaw reached for the file and flipped through the contents quickly. "I'm sure if I need something I'll find someone to harass into telling me what I need to know. Who should I send in after me?" She asked looking up from the map after she found her room.

Shadowpaw felt a happy feeling in the root of her being for the first time since rejoining her mothers pack. Having a place to learn and better herself with new people and places to meet and explore excited her more then anything. She found herself grinning widely as she looked at her Headmistress.

Uriyu grinned, "Uh huh... Well none the less Im glad I met you none the less... glad I met such an interesting person." He chuckled.

"p***k your finger it is done
the moon has now eclipsed the sun"

After distilling, drying, grinding, he combined all the elements together and packed it into a metal tube, keeping his own special gun powder for later. After all, it wasn't like an alchemy lab would have a ball-roller. Walking out of the now cleaned up lab, he started walking around, looking for something to do.

Guiseppi smirked a bit. "Oh, yes, I am definitely someone you ought to remember. And if you don't get on my nerves, you may end up one of the ones who lives to tell the tale." Usually he killed only intentionally, but sometimes, when people really rubbed him the wrong way... accidents had happened. His powers were unpredictable like that.

Perivia simply waved Shadowpaw out politely. "Oh, don't worry about that. I can handle it myself." That was when Perivia sat up straight in her chair and seemed to speak to the air in front of her, but her voice couldn't be heard anywhere near the room. In fact, Perivia was making her voice travel all the way down to the alchemy labs a few floors down. Perivia's voice was thrown right next to Asmusei as he was wandering the halls, looking for something to kill his time. "Asmusei, I'm ready to see you in my office now." Perivia didn't say it, but her voice had a tone in it that said that if he didn't hurry, he'd be in a heap of trouble. And as that thought would cross his mind (which it undoubtedly would), Asmusei would feel an unnatural chill crawl up his spine.

Shadowpaw simply nodded and quickly and quietly padded out of the room. She quietly waved at the small group outside of the door and happily hopped away down the hall in the direction of her new room. Finding the stairs at the end of the hall she skipped up them humming quietly to herself.

he felt the magical persuasion to shiver and try forcing hurry upon his mind, but this was one of the reasons why he was so impersonal; magic provided some the route of manipulation, others the violation of one's most inner sanctum. He pursed his lips and swung his head slowly about, trying to both find the stairs and the possible direction of the female voice. Finding the stairs and only a vague sense of direction, he walked up them to eventually find himself down the hall from the other new people, unhappy to be walking past people that loved trying to manipulate others, especially the boy he felt craved the attention of others. Seeing the door open and them watching the girl with his cloak walking away, he ignored them and stepped in, giving the door a quick tug to close it quickly. A closed door was sometimes a great shield, especially from prying eyes.

As she hummed happily to herself she twirled a little on one foot as she came to the door that was her's. She quickly eyeballed the door looking for any magical traps set into the door or the door frame. She partially shifted her hand into her werewolf paw to use her long claw to feel for any hairline traps, finding none she then moved on to the doorknob. Before sliding her long claw into the keyhole, she positioned herself to the side of the door away from any possible poison clouds or anything else that someone had the mind to think of. As nothing popped out of the door at the touch of her claw she deemed it somewhat safe to enter. Pulling the key to the door out of the file the headmistress gave her, she quickly unlocked the door and swung it open not entering for a few seconds in case there was anything in the room that would be set off. Seeing how noting went off she happily skipped into the room, seeing how bare the room was she shrugged, kicked the door closed and happily leaped on the bare mattress. Feeling the weight of the year of consistent travel bare down on her, she stripped out of cloak and folded it into a pillow and closed her eyes and slipped off into a deep sleep.

Garbhan, in his wolf form, approached the Academy. 'Unwelcome Boulder', he had heard it called. A school of assassins. Perhaps he could hone his skills here. Get back at his father, the cold b*****d. Maybe he could be accepted here. Have another family, friends, perhaps a lover... No. Never again. Family never leads to anything good. What had happened last time? He was driven out, being called a Witch. A b*****d. No, he would never again have a family. Never again socialize more than absolutely needed. As he made this vow in his head, a tiny part of his heart died.

He padded, slowly, to the front of the Academy. It was large. So absolutely large. And dreary; with many, many shadows looming in places that seemed impossible. Much to his pleasure. Looking around one last time, being sure he was alone, he began to sniff. He immediately caught multiple scents. Overwhelming, somewhat. He cleared his head, and began sorting through them. There was an array of minor poisons... Some he knew of, others merely a molecule or 2 off from one another. Flesh. Rotting and living. The Academy was occupied, though by few. There was also... Human food. A couple female perfumes, and...

Garbhan growled deeply, and the hackles on his back raised. He looked around warily, keeping his senses all open now. Wolf. He had smelled another wolf. This did not bode well with him. Not in the slightest. He let out a single, warning bark. It, clearly, stated that the other creature should show itself. It did not, however, elude to the consequences.
