Artemis noted the crazy in his voice and expression and frowned a bit. A suspicious look came to her face,"OK... well I think Kiyoko needs to stay here for a bit longer... hmm, OK then... be good."she said the last part mainly at Hkaru then left the room she had a strange feeling that something bad was going to happen.Kiyoko smiled though it was a bit off and there was a small tint of red in it, she could feel the necklace's influence seep in. Before it could take full effect Kiyoko got off of it and placed it far away from her, her smile was a bit nervous,"Yeah... I want to come back. I miss home."she said a bit sadly and a small tint of craziness in her eyes.((hey Ill brb later...))

Kiyoko was taken by surprise by Hikaru's hug and then his sad face to her treatment of the gift."Oh umm... hehe look Hikaru-kun I'm wearing the necklace, please don't be sad..."Kiyoko said in a pained voice as she poked her brother in the cheek and put the necklace on again. This time she shuddered a bit and her eyes became violet and her features echoed that of craziness but she soon switched back to her usual countanence, right next to the pendant was Artemis' necklace which helped balance her out."I miss you too Hika-kun... b-but Q-Qastor-san was going to teach me chakra..."Kiyoko said brightly and hesitantly, she realized now why she was sent away and she felt that, even though it pained her that she should stay here."Ummm.... I'll think about it Hiakru."Artemis said in a chiding tone as she ruffled his hair and noted the change in his expression as well as Kiyoko's, 'hm... something is going on here... its still too risky to bring Kiyoko back...'Artemis thought to herself as the puppy licked Kiyoko and stared confused at Hikaru.

"Hikaru-kun.... you don't have to do that..."Kiyoko giggled as she hugged Hikaru and looked up at Artemis,"I don't want to be seperated from Hikaru any more... I wanna stay with him."she whined and she giggled a bit crazily her smile was crazy a bit but then it switched back.Artemis face softened a bit as she saw her children's pleas and faces. She frowned,'No matter what they have to be seperate for both of their protection...'"Are you sure thats what you want? Hiakru?"she asked as she knealt down and held his shoulders and looked directly in his eyes.

Kiyoko was stunned as Hikaru took her necklace away and ran away."HIKARU!"Kiyoko screamed as she cried as she ran after her brother but crumpled to the ground as she lost him in the woods. She shook her head as she cried,"Hikaru... come back..."Kiyoko cried as she shook."Kiyoko! Hikaru! Come back!"Artemis shouted as she quickly sprang up and chased after her children,"Damn... what is going on..."Artemis shook as she found her daughter and brought her in her arms and comforted her crying daugher. She looked out at the forest and noticed the dog with her, she motioned him to follow Hikaru as she walked back to the house. It was best for Hikaru to cool off, she saw the look in his eyes and heard his voice, he had lost and she failed... she shook her head and felt awful but hid it as she comforted her daughter.

Artemis looked at Sei with a bit of annoyance and a fake sincerity on her face,"I got it taken care of Sei-san... its fine."she said in a strained calm tone as she packed up her stuff,"We have to go now..."Artemis whispered, she just wanted to go home to sort things out. She sent a clone to find Hikaru.Kiyoko was still crying as she was carried into the house and ignored Sei, she was still hung up on her brother's disappearance.

"Why are you running Hikaru? he he he... go back there now! You are not done... he he he Kiyoko is still good. he he he.... your weak."Evil Artemis whispered in Hikaru's head, she was angry that he left, looked like she would have to increase her influence.Sei's words stopped Artemis. She clenched her fists and angry tears ran down her face, she knew that it was her fault for giving up and letting Evil Artemis go this far, she knew that it was her fault for even allowing Evil Artemis to gain control... it was all her fault."You don't think I realize that Sei-san... I realize that I have failed... Hikaru is like this because I gave up!"Artemis turned and shouted, she was furious, upset, scared all those emotions."Ever since I was a little girl that that thing ruled over me.... she was always there. Every bad decision I would make, every time my temper flared she would be there.... yes she probably did. I have been compromised in my mind since the day they told me my parents were killed in battle and their bodies were not found... it was a set up."Artemis growled as she hung her head, Kiyoko stopped crying to see her mother who was having a mental break down. Artemis glared at Sei, she knew she was not angry at Sei though her words triggered this onslaught of emotions and made her wake up,"Thank you Sei for your wisdom into the obvious but right now I have to go search for my son... alone. If you follow me..."Artemis said in a deadly voice with a hint of sarcasm in it as she kissed Kiyoko good bye"Kiyoko, be a good girl and listen to Qastor and Sei. I'll bring Hikaru back... I love you."she whispered and straightened up, nodded to Sei and darted into the woods, she would end this for real.

He stiffened slightly,"Yeah.... I stopped the worst of it, they had been poisoning the childrens brains. I had to heal them all using my Sharingan, I thought I had gotten rid of the two for good, but that evil side left a back up plan, she infiltrated Hikarus mind and I cant get her out this time. She can only influence him but, shes so deep, his brain would become mush if I used my Sharingan on him again." He sat down his head bent over,"Hes so young..... you shouldve seen his mind..... it was the most horrid thing I had ever seen.... I cant blame them, though it would be easier to call it their fault, I almost had to kill them to save their children..... Ive killed so many and Ive lost so many.... they are my last students, the only to pass on what I have taught. Artemis was like my daughter I took her in when no one else wanted to and I treated her with everything she deserved as a growing child. I lost Srian, then Taiyou.... shes the last of good old Squad 3..... I feel like the longer I live.... I lose more than I gain....." He sighed and looked up into her eyes,"I will never be strong enough to truly protect those I love..... why is that.... have you ever really thought about it. I have lost so many and could not protect them no matter how strong, Artemis, Burian, they are pieces of my work the strongest shinobi Ive known as they grew up and still so; yet they couldnt protect their own children from themselves." He could not help but release the pain hidden behind that mask of a face,"This world.... it breaks people.... cripples and taunts them until they snap their own neck..."
