Abel cracked a smile at the guy. "Nah, it was all me. I wasn't looking where I was going. You don't need to-" He was interrupted by the voice of a little girl that he recognized. He looked over, and saw Amara running over. "Hey there, Amar-" He stopped mid sentence again, seeing her run over to the guy he just hit and hug his legs. "Amara, you know better than to just run up to strangers and-" He stopped yet a third time, as he heard the man speak to her, followed by Amara looking over and calling out to Abel. "Heh, yeah, it's me... I got back earlier today, so- Wait, you know each other?! How?!" Abel was very.. very confused.

She had backed up, been fine, no one could possibly be as stupid as this, no, sure, right, but then again, these were men, men did lots of things that were stupid, very stupid, very, very, very, very-
Tristai screamed. She couldn't breathe, she couldn't breathe, she couldn't-
She reflexively flung her hand outward- the hand that was holding onto her water glass. Crystal splintered across the axeman's face, and she jerked away from the group, holding herself tightly while slightly hunched over. Her visible eye was wide with shock, and hate, but deep down, the most solid fear. The sent of whiskey was still on her, the smell of sweat from a strange man- if he hadn't been drinking, and hadn't spent time beforehand training, perhaps he would have simply received a splash of water to the face and a close-handed slap. But no. It was alcohol, it was sweat, it was too close to her, too close to her face, close enough to see- to see- to see- he said it out loud. He saw it and he said it out loud, made it real for everyone to hear, pointed it out, made a show of her, made a show of IT.
The color drained from her face, from her entire body, forming the starkest contrast between her now sickly white skin and her vibrant dress. She let out the most pitiful cross between a mewling and yell, covering her mouth and fighting back nausea.
She'd been doing so well, until now. The smell of whiskey wouldn't leave her nose, and she blanched again. She turned tail and ran, as well as she could in her heels, out the door of the hall.

Enter Death's gate on your knees. With remorse, sorrow, and hatred glowing in your heart.Shinon continued to eat. "This is actually pretty decent stuff...." When he finished eating he heard a yell and a shatter. He saw a man with glass in his face and a lady running towards the door. He followed Tristai out of the door to investigate what had happened. "Are you OK? Wait, what happened?" With the arrows of light, evil souls will be purged.

Paler than she is? Now that she mentions it, I do easily pass off as a Learanian. I bet that's why nobody's ever given me a hard time about it.
"When you're in a desert country like Sentria, you keep yourself bundled up against the sun and sands," she responded. "My face and body were usually covered up by cloth, so I wasn't getting that much sun. I knew something of flying in my younger days, though, so I had that going for me."

Ed glanced at Lance, surprised by what she had heard. She honestly hadn't mean any harm and she was quick to assume that Lance was poking at the idea.
"Well -- no, I didn't mean it that way, yeah," she quickly responded, having interpreted his reply a little too quickly. "I mean...well, yeah. Sentient -- I'm not trying to condescend or anything, you know? I guess, I dunno, it depends on someone's definition of 'human' -- ?"
Well, now she was flustered. Ed had always thought of herself as a good person and strove to exemplify that. So she was all too glad when the topic changed, but it still bothered her quite a bit. She meekly scuffed her heel against the floor.
Ed listened as the entrepreneur proceeded onto the topic of dancing, then glanced up to watch Ganon and the naga. Hm. Something told her she shouldn't have been watching. She glanced away and picked up what appeared to be an apple, gnawing on the skin as she said, "Hrrm, dancin'. I like to, but I don't do it often -- the last time I did it was ballroom dancin' with Valter 'round New Year's Eve, and I don't even remember how that one goes."

Take my hand as I wander through... ... All of my life, I gave to you. • ◄AKIHI► • ————————————————
Amara tilted her head slightly, staring at Abel incredulously. "Of course I know him, Abel~! Why wouldn't I know my own uncle?" She giggled softly, adjusting the hat on her head so that her vision wouldn't be blocked.
Akihi looked down at Amara, back at Abel, down at Amara again, and then finally at Abel again. "Y-you know her...?" He blinked a couple of times in confusion. He vaguely remembered someone named Abel or something similar mentioned in his sister's accounts of her adventures in Eyris. However, he wasn't clear what the name of the person Alihi mentioned was. He didn't remember the names as well as he did the scenes that she described. The mage could remember a moment but not who was involved in the moment. "... Then you know her mother...? My sister?" He questioned softly and carefully.

I was blessed with the gifts of the goddess, so show me respect! It's not every day that you stumble across a rarity like me.₪Victoria₪ Victoria noticed Tristai's paling reaction, and then the pink-dressed woman started to run! The bishop gave quick pursuit, waving back to Arashe briefly. She'd sure give Dietrich a lecture for spooking her friend, drunk or not. "Tristai, wait!" The blonde woman called after her first friend of Learania, running as fast as she could in heels.
Which wasn't fast at all. As a matter of fact, she was tempted to just drop the scepter which was really a Heal staff, take off the heels and run. It would be faster, much faster... but so undignified.
Victoria didn't know when her comrade would stop, but she prayed it would be soon, so she'd at least talk about why she got spooked.
A redheaded man was tailing them, and that probably wouldn't help...ΘжElimine's LightжΘ If you are my ally, fear not, for healing is coming your way. Become my enemy and you'll be purged, and dead you shall stay.

"Now, hold still..."
"No, mommy! It's suppos'da stay like this!"
So went on the little war behind the scenes as Ayra strove to get her beloved little daughter looking as prim and proper as possible. On top of the little blonde girl's head was a small tiara, sitting on the center of her head but tilting slightly to one side; Ayra kept trying to fix it, but little Vaherianslyeri wouldn't hear it. Every move towards it by the mother ended with the smaller of the two pouting and bringing her hands up to her head, almost as if threatening to mess up her hair (which had taken hours to fix, though all of her tantrums!) if she didn't get her way.
While Ayra was in a lovely red dress, her daughter was in a sky-blue one, and both looked like- thankfully- they had spent time on their appearance. There was no need to look shabby at a party, after all!
As soon as they opened the dressing room doors and moved into the hall adjacent to the party area, Vah took off and lead her mother with an eager little jump, dashing with a rhythmic 'click click click!' of her little heels towards her father's tall figure. Her multi-layered dress, with all its white frills covered by a blue dress, flared behind her like some kind of cloak as she ran straight towards him, hugging him tight.
Ayra had let go for a moment, stopping as she saw Tristai leave the room.
Now, it was no time for drama like that!
Stepping by the drunkard that had done it, Ayra rested her hands on her waist and raised a careful brow. Her voice was spiced all too heavily in sarcasm, and her tone was biting.
"What a ladykiller. You don't always act like this, do you?"

"..You're wha- Oh, right, uncle, ok." Abel replied to amara, thinking that he understood what she meant. After all, she called Ephraim her uncle, as well, so this fellow must be a friend of hers. Abel gave a sigh of relief that she hadn't actually hugged a random stranger. If they hadn't known each other, that would have been yet another awkward moment for the poor guy he just knocked into.
Abel looked up at the purple-robed guy, as he was being addressed. "Hm? Oh, yeah. I know her mother. She's great! I'm actually living together with them to help out, currently." He gave a wide grin. "I'm a mercenary, so I got out on jobs sometimes, but when I get back, we've got plenty of coins to last for a wh-" It finally hit him. Took him long enough to register it. He looked at the guy and his eyes grew wider, as his face grew somewhat paler. As he replied, his voice seemed distressed. "Wait... S-SISTER?! Alihi's your- ..You're really Amara's- ..You-" He paused a moment, and took a few deep breathes, looking off to the side.
He put his hands to the side of his head, trying to register what he just learned. Did Alihi tell him she had a brother? She may have mentioned it once, but... Abel couldn't remember that. He can't remember what he had to eat yester- no, wait, he always remembers what he eats. The point is, he has really bad memory, so he couldn't help but not remember being told about this guy. Something about... visiting a relative, far away from Eyris, after Halloween...? Forget it, it didn't matter now. Looking back at him, he collected himself. "... ...SISTER?!" ..or not.

"Maybe if I can call you Nephew, Roy... Nephew!" FD replied to Roy's playful comment with a grin.
And then the wedding was mentioned. FD and Nils might be living together, engaged, and spent the majority of their time together, but as far as planning their wedding went, they had gotten... nowhere. Admittedly, this was partially due to conflicts with guest availability. FD knew Roy was planning some sort of trip although he didn't know the details (and they couldn't have the wedding without family, could they?) and it seemed that whenever one person would be available, another wouldn't. "And I'll have to get back to you for a fixed date. But what's this about a quest, Ro-Nephew?" FD asked. "Where are you planning? Because you can bet we want you to be at the wedding."

Surprise smacked Sophia in the face when Blossom suddenly hugged her. Though she was always glad to help, she never expected signs of thanks from others. Just being of assistance was good enough to her. Such a quality had its down sides of course, but Sophia trusted that others wouldn’t take advantage of her kindness. “Y-you’re… welcome,” Sophia piped up before the girl suddenly rushed out to rejoin the party. It was good that she was lively and that Sophia hadn’t made any mistakes in the sewing.
It was about time she be getting back to the party as well, though she had never really joined it in the first place. Social scenes made Sophia nervous, and she was often caught simply listening from a safe distance than contributing at all to the conversations. Walking back over to the table, the pin cushion was returned to its rightful place, as were the spool of red thread and the needle she had used. With nothing no longer keeping her in the room, she departed, locking the door once again behind her. It was simply a safety precaution to keep people from stealing the valuable clothing, not a matter of trust.
By now, even more people had joined the party and as she had figured, groups had already been formed. If she wasn’t so timid, Sophia might try approaching one of the groups to acquaint herself with some new people, but no such thing occurred. She had only come in the first place because her attendance had been required as a crew member, but parties just weren’t her thing. More than anything, they made her realize just how uninvolved she was with the guild members. It would be rude to leave now though, so Sophia wandered back into the hall, staying along the outskirts of the group to avoid drawing attention to herself.

"I know how that feels" commenting on Ziaram's concern. Though that was the least of Ephraim's problem right now. Truth be told, the prince was getting a little bored. The party had just only begun and the only thing available right now were food..though one can't really deny the need to get something to eat. He turned his heel, observing the area, scouring the table at what there was to eat until they came to land on a certain someone he had been looking for the entire time.
"Um.." Ephraim turned back to the man whom he was talking to "I hate to run off on you like this but...there's someone I need to catch before I lose sight of her" without another word, Ephraim zipped away through the crowds, picking up a couple of glass waters on the way.
Sophia didn't really notice the prince's presence, more like she was off in a daze or just really tired from all that planning. Never the less, he approached her, the glass still in hand and raised one up to touch her cheek.

I've been dreaming for so long... ... To find a meaning, to understand... • ◄AKIHI► • ————————————
Akihi flinched and his eyes widened with shock. "Y-yeah..." He stammered nervously, not seeing the cause of the reaction. Was it that big of a deal that he came from the same parents as Alihi did? "I-I'm Akihi... Kaua. An... And you're Abel, right?" He hesitated for a few moments, deciding how to say what was running through his mind.
WAITWHATYOU'RELIVINGWITHMYSISTER?! WHATTHEHECK?! DON'TYOUUNDERSTANDTHATTHAT'SSTRANGETODOSOIFYOU'RENOTINARELATIONSHIPunlessyouarethenit'sokayBUTSTILL?!
... Yeah, he really needed to find a way to coherently say what he was thinking. "You... uh..." He started to speak but the words caught in his throat, making the rest of what he said come out soft and squeaky. Raising his hand up to cover his mouth, he coughed a few times, muttering about something getting caught after slamming the palm of his hand against his chest. "Ah..." He coughed a few more times, looking around a bit before turning towards Abel.
"... Wh-what do you mean to her?" Of course, Akihi was curious as to rather Abel was in a relationship with his sister or not, but he was also dreading to hear the answer. Though he would never admit it, he was jealous of his sister. It wasn't that he liked Abel in that way... no, he wasn't lustful like that. The mage was more jealous of the fact that she even got those chances. He always got the short end of the stick, it seemed, which after so long of it got irritating. No matter what the answer was, though, he wouldn't hate Abel for it; it would be rude to do something like that. Besides, despite their odd introduction, Abel was the first person Akihi met in Eyris...

Abel finally calmed himself. He figured it wasn't that big of a deal that this guy was Alihi's brother, it was just kind of a shock to have met him so suddenly... and the way they met was less than welcoming. He'd probably never hear the end of it. He snapped out of his thoughts, when Alihi's brother introduced himself. And without the need to give his name, Abel simply confirmed.. Akihi's question. "Yeah... that's me." He didn't look too far into how Akihi knew his name. Alihi must have mentioned him. ...Of course, that made him kind of nervous, when he thought about it some.
His thoughts were interrupted, as Akihi spoke again. "..Hm?" Abel questioned, as he heard muttered words come from Akihi's mouth. "....Yeah?" He said, encouraging him to say what he wanted to. Of course, he immediately regretted having encouraged him, after Akihi really did say what he wanted to. "I-I..." Abel's face grew red, and only grew more red by the second. "We're.. I mean..." He didn't really know what to say. Really though, what were they? Should he call it what it was on the surface, or what it was underneath? This was her brother, he couldn't just say that he was growing deeper feelings for her every day. After a battle of what he should say, he finally came to a safe conclusion. "We... we care for each other." Yep, he chose the vague route. "R-right, Amara?" He blurted out, trying to change the talk away from him talking.
