This is what she got for going against her father's wishes... Looking up at Rory with guilt, she sighed, not wanting to tell him what she was about to say. "Rory, my mom is bringing Jeremy back here to meet with me." It came out rushed, almost panicked, and she hoped he wouldn't be angry, or perhaps scared.

"Oh, tha's good. He can hae a few more tries at killin' me, then," Rory said almost casually. "I cannae believe your mum is tha' heartless tha' she'd keep hurtin' tha' boy along wi' us just t' try an' make you leave me." He looked up at her. "I say w' leave. Let's just gae home an' finish wi' th' house. I like your da an' I want you t' spend time wi' your parents, but I'm not gonna be treated like I donnae exist by your mum." He straightened up, a slightly determined look crossing his features. "Better yet, I'll just gae tell your da what w' wis doin'. He'll hate me, but your mum cannae blackmail you." He moved to go find Mr. Katan.

Lee chased after him a bit, grabbing his arm. "N-no! Rory, I went out of my way to go against him, he'll hate me too. We're finally getting along, and you two are, too." Sighing, she looked off, speaking softly. "I'm sorry. It's my fault, all of this... You can go home if you want, but... I don't want my dad finding out."

Rory frowned at her. "W' could just tell him th' truth, lass. W' were playin' around an' forgot ourselves. Tha's what happened. Your da cannae really find fault in th' fact tha' were a young couple in love, eh?"

Biting her lip and looking in the direction of her father. "Why would he believe us when we've only been here... what, twenty minutes? How could it be an accident when I went out of my way to wear a bikini for you?" That wasn't telling the full truth if they said they only "forgot themselves". Lee groaned a bit, rubbing her head and looking away. "If you wanna tell him, fine. Will you stay if we do?" Oh god, her dad was going to hate her.

Lee covered her mouth, actually trying to keep herself from laughing. It was a rather inappropriate moment to find what Rory'd said so funny, but... He was certainly thinking too highly of her. "Actually, that's exactly what I was hoping for. Expecting, actually..." It hadn't been a mistake at all, at least on her part.

Rory just nodded. "Alreet then." He moved away from her and headed straight for Mr. Katan. "Sir, there's somethin' you should know. Your wife's tryin' t' blackmail Lee, puttin' her on th' auction block fae any man she thinks is more worthy than me. Mrs. Katan didnae catch me changin' in front o' Lee. She caught us haen sex. It's me own fault. Lee wis changin' int' a bathin' suit t' gae fae a swim an' when she came out o' her closet, I wasnae thinkin' straight. Wasnae thinkin' at all. Lee was just gaen along wi' it, but it's me fault. I'll leave if you want me to, but donnae let Lee's mum do tha' t' her."

Mr. Katan stood looking back at Rory, speechless for a long moment, eyes staring, unblinking and unemotional. He took a deep breath, seeming to try to make sense of it all as his eyes wandered. "You..." He began, thinking some more before continueing. "Had sex? In there? Just now?" His mouth fell open a bit, and he stared back at Rory. "But... you only just got here..." And now, he sounded like he could cry.
Lee stepped behind Rory, hiding while poking her head out over his shoulder. She managed to tone her guilt down enough to feel bad for the man, being lied to twice in a matter of minutes. "I'm sorry..." She whispered to the man, not trying to manipulate him into forgiving her, and honestly apologizing.
Eyes wandering over to his daughter, he shook his head softly, not wanting to believe Rory was telling the truth. His eyes darted back to Rory for a moment. "Rory, you're sleeping with the servants tonight." Clenching his jaw, he walked past them, heading downstairs and for the kitchen to speak with Mrs. Katan.

Rory looked down at Lee. "I'll talk t' him. I'll get him t' understand." What he really wanted was to just leave. He'd embarrassed Lee and upset her parents. He really like her dad and now the man hated him. Sleeping with the servants. They might as well told him to sleep in the backyard. He headed after Mr. Katan, hoping to at least smooth things over between him and Lee.

Lee sighed, sitting on the steps, not really wanting to hear whatever would be said. She'd be able to see from here, which was more than enough for her.
Mr. Katan stood in front of the kitchen door, working up the courage to face his wife. Oh, he fully understood why Rory was frightened of the woman...

"Mr. Katan," Rory called, catching up with the man. "Donnae be upset wi' Lee, alreet? Nothin' exactly happened. Your wife came in before it did. Neither o' us meant t' disobey you." At least not so quickly. "I'll gae if you want me t', though. Lee said she'd stay here an' vist, just donnae let your wife try t' arrange her int' another marriage. Please."
