The kind I have always seems to slip my mind. -------------------------------------------------------  Sleep seemed like the greatest idea since like---plumbing.
Raffaele stepped out of his shoes once he was at the edge of the bed. He lifted his shirt off of him and the silver cross around his neck slid again his now naked collar bone.
Raffaele sat himself on the bed and his eyes closed before he even made an effort to lay down.
He was just resting---trying to get himself to lay down really.

this, the end of life.  Hunter pushed on Raffaele lightly, making him lay down, before sitting on the bed next to the man.
What a day... well night, it had been.
They had broken up, Raffaele had been raped and emotionally torn apart, Hunter on the other hand had recalled quiet a few unpleasant things from his past, they had a crazy creature stalking them, and it was just an altogether ******** up of a day night.
Sleep was the ideal right now, but Hunter wanted to make sure the priest went to sleep before he himself did.

The kind I have always seems to slip my mind. ------------------------------------------------------- Raffaele let himself fall back but slowly opened a single grey eye to acess what was going on.
It was subconscious because really there wasn't much going on when you were about ready to go to sleep.
His eyes closed and he exhaled deeply, his body claming quickly.
A sudden thought roused him, but dared not move him.
"I'm supposed to pray, but I'm too tired."
The words came out like a breath. Each sound wafted together with the next in a powedery stream.
It was light, but obviously it bothered the human.
It was a display of how fragile he was, something Raffaele rarely admitted he hated. Human beings in general were fragil...he didn't like having to face that.

It was to prove anything. It wasn't to convert anyone or give Raffaele an ego. It was just a statement, but sometimes those brief seemingly meaningless sentances meant the most.
Raffaele's eyes were shut and he had to admit, what Hunter said had sounded pretty appealing.
And what the hell, he had comitted so many sins as it was a nightly prayer wasn't going to help him out.
"Could you lay down? You're making me nervous."

this, the end of life. Hunter sighed, not about to go into the whole religion thing with Raffaele. The man needed sleep anyways.
Then he asked him to lay down and he sighed again, shifting and moving so that he was laying next to the priest.
He didn't touch him, didn't wrap his arms around him or anything, he wasn't sure Raffaele wanted that at the moment.
Sooo.... yeah...
Hunter closed his eyes and let out a breath before he stopped breathing.

The kind I have always seems to slip my mind. ------------------------------------------------------- Raffaele had to admit, it was weird sleeping in the same bed as someone.
He hadn't done that since like, he was really little. Being part of the church did give him the privlidge of constantly having his own bed so the new sharing his caring concept, while he slept, was weird.
Not totally uncomfortable, just different.
Whatever though, it was a thought that lasted but a second as it was.
Raffaele's body relaxed and more quickly than usual, he found himself asleep.
The idea that perhaps that man, or creature, whatever he was, was still out there watching, lingered.

this, the end of life. Hunter sat up for a while, moving slowly out of the bed so he wouldn't wake Raffaele. He riffled through Ravenna's volumes of knowledge for about five hours (looking on information about Raffaele's creepy stalker) before he felt that familiar pain in his stomach that told him he needed to eat something.
He sighed and looked back out at Raffaele. Nothing would bother him here and Hunter was sure of that without a doubt. So it was safe to go hunting for a few moments. He sighed and rubbed his stomach before standing up and exiting the cottage.

The kind I have always seems to slip my mind. ------------------------------------------------------- He had rolled over a few times. There was no way Raffaele acted like the living dead in a REM cycle. He was a pretty restless sleeper.
It wasn't that he had a case of insomnia, because he was out like a light, it was just one of his very human characteristics.
Hunter had gone out to hunt unbeknowst to the priest. In all honesty that was better because being oblivious saved him a s**t load of worrying and a ton of guilt.
His lips parted, collecting air into his mouth. Even in his sleep he realized he was thirsty.
When you hung around a vampire, it appeared you forgot to eat.
And drink for that matter.
He huffed, groaning quietly as his body forced his mind to wake up...much to his discontent.
After some stretching, moaning, whimpering and rubbing, Raffaele was up.
And grumpy.
Nobody liked waking up in the middle of the night because they were thirsty. The human walked out of the room and searched for some form of water.
Which he found in the kitchen...to his surprise actually.

Hunter Ryan Black"Take me from this earth

this, the end of life. Hunter tracked down a hunter in the woods, because no other human would be wandering so far into them. Plus, hunter was in the mood for a halfway decent fight.
He stuck with the usual, letting the human think that he was some inexperienced newborn.
He growled a little behind the man, then moved to the front, Hunter could almost see the confident smirk on the hunters face. Until he lunged at the man from the front. That threw him off and gave hunter the opportunity to catch the man across the face with his hand. Leaving a few gashes as a result. The hunter then proceed to follow what the vampires called "normal protocol" he slashed at Hunter, got out of his reach, then fired a ranged weapon at him. Hunter let the man hit him, if only to make him feel a bit of hope before he died.
Then the vampire ripped his throat out and drank his fill. He needed to shake things up a bit, his hunting was becoming montenaous. He spaced wiping his mouth off and ran back to the house to see if Raffaele was ok. He opened the door quietly, thinking the priest was still asleep, and poked his head into the bedroom, only to see the man was gone. "Raffaele?" he called, his voice a bit hoarse.

It could be a giant man easting gerbiel for all he knew!
Ye that had to be it, a giant rodent.
Actually in such a delerious state, Raffaele tended to think in the fantastical sense..call it his lost childhood rearing it's imaginative head.
And so afer downing what could be a gallon of water, Raffale went all ninja.
He arched his shoulder and got low to the ground, stalking forward stealthaly like some agent right out of a James Bond movie.
He turned the corner and heard the sound of footsteps.
OH NO! It had to be that crazy unicorn vampire thingie from his dream! It was comming to eat his scrotom!
He needed that now!
(The inner workings of Raffaele's mind were a very interesting place..for the record)
He heard his name, then looked out past the corner.
Who the ******** was at the door!
Oh, Hunter,
Wait, why was Hunter here? No wait a second, wasn't Hunter supposed to be in the bed with him?
Nevermind! There was no time! The unicorn for Christ's sake!
"Hunter!" He whsipered sharply.
"Hunter there's a monster in the house!"
Undoubtaly this would result in mayhem.

this, the end of life. Hunter's brows creased downwards and he looked around the house, sniffing, then shaking his head. "Raffaele, there is nothing here but you and I." otherwise Hunter would have smelled it, cause everything had a scent you know.
He walked over to where Raffaele was crouching and looked down at the man closer to the floor, before poking his head into the kitchen to see what the priest had dug up.
... Water, at least he didn't get hold of the nasty refrigerated animal blood that Ravenna liked to keep for snacks. Hunter just didn't understand how that woman could drink something so gross, and cold to boot. It just wasn't right to him.
"Are you alright Raffaele?"

What time was it? Like three o' clock in the morning or something? Jesus he must have been delirious. Truthfully he'd probably sober up in a few minutes, right now he was just really confused and unable to differenciate what the hell was a dream and what was reality.

"I, I uh, I'm..." Raffaele twisted his lips before looking at Hunter blankly with big grey eyes. He deffinitaly didn't look too sure---mostly because he wasn't. That soon turned irrelevent.
Raffaele, in all his groggy three o'clock in the morning wonder, opened his arms stepped forward and gave the vampire a big hug.
"I'm sad and confused and I just really want you to hug me....Is that okay Hunter? Just a hug?"
In theory Raffaele didn't need to ask permission because he'll he was hugging Hunter already.
