Råtrî Jõlon Hædrîan It didn't take Ratri too long to deal with his parents. They knew nothing was worth getting into an all out fight with him again, so it just took a combined effort between him and his father to calm his mother down. They both knew he was stronger. Then, it was a simple matter, with some threats thrown in, to make it clear that he could do whatever he wanted with HIs human, WHEREVER he wanted, and they would not do ANYTHING to jeopardize that arrangement.
Of course his mom was still pissed, but Ratri was in a hurry. He had a bad feeling, but would have wanted to get back to Heather as soon as possible anyway. For both her sake and Zlo's.
So he traveled back at full speed, meaning he would make it in less than half the time it had taken when bringing Heather there in the first place. And as he neared his apprehension grew, making him speed all the more. Long before he could even see the place, he could feel Zlo's wrath creeping up on him as the distance closed. She would probably be too distracted to notice him coming though.
Yeah. The only thing that could mean, was that Heather had pissed her off- well, it was most likely all things considered. And as calm as Zlo was normally, it was hell to piss her off. Yes. Definitely something was going down.
So, being the rash person that he was, he sent the slab he was moving on crashing into the unoccupied end of the shed, and he curled up into a ball and crash landed through the ceiling closer to the "action." Which actually turned out to be a mere two feet from Zlo and Heather. That created some kind of crater in the ground, on both ends now, but he was quick to jump up out of it, his hands blazing with fire.
"HEATHER!!!" he yelled furiously, as if he were mad at her, rather then Zlo, even though he obviously went crashing through Zlo's shed to save her. And after only briefly glaring into the human girl's eyes, he stared directly at Zlo, with his burning fists clenched at his sides, ready for use. "Put. Her. Down. Alive." He said, with cold calmness, contrary to the fierce way he had shouted at Heather.
Probably a confusing and painful few moments for the human girl.

демон Zlo DrăgutZlo's concentration on strangling Heather was broken as a giant stone slab came crashing through her ceiling... and seriously who's concentration wouldn't be broken after something like that? The impact from the crash blew the hood of her winter outfit off her head, showing her entire head for the first time since she had gotten back. She looked at one of her best friends and her purple eyes narrowed. She wanted desperately to kill this human, she wanted it with every fiber of her being. But now that Ratri was here, she just couldn't do it. And not because of fear for the red headed demon, but because she couldn't take the risk of hurting her closest friend. She just couldn't, so she growled, loudly, in frustration, her grip around Heathers neck tightened for a moment and she contemplated just breaking the bones in her neck, but she snarled instead and dropped the unconscious human, letting her crumple to the ground.

Råtrî Jõlon Hædrîan The second Zlo dropped Heather, the fire around his hands went out, and his skin's natural coolness began to reclaim his natural outer body temperature.
He swooped to pick Heather p before she full hit the ground, and brought her back up in his arms. "Dumbass" he growled, but not at Zlo, it was directed at the unconscious girl, and yet he held her gently.
It was then that he took a moment to observe Zlo more closely. "What uh... what happened.... before this?" he said, nodding toward Heather. He meant, to make her be like this, wear those clothes for example.
Ratri was currently ignoring 1, the fact that he had almost completely destroyed Zlo's shed, and 2, the cowering girly boy in the corner, that had done some failed duck and cover maneuver that resulted in a ball up against the corner.
Oh yeah, and he know dismissed the fact that he had just been about to attack Zlo if she had continued to kill Heather.

демон Zlo DrăgutZlo watched Ratri swoop in, grabbing Heather and standing with the girl in his arms in front of her. Her lip curled in a growl at the human girl and then Ratri asked the obvious question. The reason Zlo had been hoping for her friends not to come over today. She looked over at Tyler, huddled up in a ball in the corner and muttered a sleeping spell under her breath. Putting the terrified boy to sleep. She then looked back at Ratri, the dark tendrils slowly dissipating from her body till her hair was back to it's unnatural white. She bit her lip, debating on whether or not to tell Ratri. He would undoubtedly hear about it, knowing Icam. The demon would gloat, changing the wording of his blackmail to a story where she finally accepted him. The look in her eye clearly portrayed her indecision and she finally sighed. "I had a run in with Icam at the market today..." she said haltingly closed her eyes and turning her head away from Ratri, not wanting to speak further.

Råtrî Jõlon Hædrîan Ratri waited expectantly for Zlo's answer as she clearly debated on her response. What she said certainly explained a lot, but also lead to a lot more questions.
"I see..... And" he stopped, and looked her over, considering her winter garb. His conclusion ended up being pretty close to the truth. There were only so many reasons she'd be in that get up right now, and feeling the way she did... And when it had to do with Icam, the possibilities were significantly narrowed down.
Ratri barely kept his body from blazing up again, but you could see the fire in his eyes, almost literally.
"Son of a b***h..." he muttered, as the realization came to him. He went and set Heather down on the bed, and turned back around to face Zlo. "Where is that b*****d now?? What did he-" he shook his head angrily, his mind already jumping ahead to his not so new desire to rip the a*****e to pieces. He was now so caught up in this, it was like he'd forgotten Zlo had just tried to kill his human.

демон Zlo DrăgutZlo looked at Ratri, shaking her head. "You can't do anything to him Ratri or he will rat me out..." not like something like that ever stopped Ratri. She did stop and look at Ratri though, because it did seem as though Ratri had forgotten about that. And she was a little confused as well, Ratri never got distracted that easily. He hadn't even yelled at her for attacking Heather, she was starting to get a little worried. Not that she cared to be yelled at, it was just something she had been expecting, at the least. She looked around her home, now tore apart by the best friend and sighed. His stone slab had crashed right into her workbench, narrowly missing her books by mere inches. The large tome she had been looking at before Heather pissed her off still lay on the floor and she walked over to pick it up, looking back at Ratri and biting her lip. She wasn't dumb, but she could be pretty naive about things sometimes and she felt it necessary to ask. "It's not supposed to hurt.... right Ratri?" she asked him, in reference to her encounter with Icam. She was pretty damn sure it wasn't, but she needed someone else to verify her suspicions on the matter.

Råtrî Jõlon Hædrîan Ratri growled, literally. "Piece of s**t. I'll get him eventually." The room heated up considerably, but it was nothing undbearable, even for the humans, and no actual fire. And that was with him really trying to control it too.
That showed just how extreme his temper was at the moment.
"What are you gonna do then??? If he's black mailing you!?"
There was no ******** way Zlo could actually just suck it up and deal with that a**, could she!? He couldn't believe it! And not just because HE hated the guy! She did too!
Ya know. Ratri had his issues. But he really wasn't that bad. He just had anger problems and was maybe a little by polar, aaand maybe a little obsessive/possessive but he wasn't.... He wasn't like Icam.

демон Zlo DrăgutZlo sighed and shook her head. "I think I just have to deal with it till we can get them sent home..." yeah cause with the way she played Icam that was all she really could do. ******** b*****d. "Argh!!! I hate my parents!!" she growled loudly and chucked the book at the wall. If it wasn't for them she wouldn't have even met Icam, one because he wasn't her type, and two because she wasn't his. He would have gone off pursuing other demonesses and she would have been left alone. She frowned and looked at Ratri. "I have to figure out how to send them home, I don't want to go through that again..." uh hell no she didn't!! She sighed and plopped down among the debris on her floor, looking out at the street and weaving a web of darkness to take the place of the empty chunks of her shed, it was a little darker now, but more private. "Peace Ratri.." she said absent mindedly, a phrase she had used with him when they younger when he would get all angry and start blowing s**t up. .... Holy s**t!!! Her phrase had reminded her of a book, one she would have never thought to look in. Some liberal group had wrote a book on how to solve conflicts without fighting, of course it had never really went anywhere as they got into a fight with the protesters, but it was called peace and it showed you how to send things away from you without laying a hand on them. Perhaps their answer would be in there...

HeatherNicoletteBequette If you rain on my parade, I'll just pull out a big umbrella and keep on marching. Heather was starting to get dizzy. She could hardly hear anything straight. She was blinking faster, trying to catch her breath as Zlo tightened her grip on her throat.
Right before passing out she saw the oh-so familiar red hair flashing before her eyes, "Ratri..." She hissed as she lost all consciousness.
Heather didn't feel her body fall to the floor, only to be caught by Ratri. She didn't hear the conversations around her. She didn't feel anything. It felt nice, in a strange way. Everything was black, dark.. safe even.
There was no drunk dad. No pissed off demoness. No... nothing.

Råtrî Jõlon Hædrîan That didn't make Ratri any happier. He wasn't much of a "stick it out" kinda guy, nooo, he didn't tolerate much. He fixed things, at least, what he considered to be fixing, which could also be the same as destroying to him...
"I agree.Their too uptight." Yeah, not what she meant....
And he said that almost casually despite how much he was fuming.
However, her last two words did have an effect on him. First. He growled, literally growled, at her. Then he calmed down. Grudgingly. But he did all the same. It was out of habit more than anything else. Personally, he thought she probably had used her powers against him at some point to MAKE him calm down when she said that, yeeeears ago. And now it was some kind of conditioning.... But whether she did or not, it worked surprisingly well, if not in all cases.
He was just pouty after that.

демон Zlo DrăgutZlo looked up at him surprised by his growl for a moment then she could feel his anger slowly letting up and she smiled softly at him. "Thank you my friend." she said softly and sighed, looking at her book shelf and standing up from her spot on the floor, since Heather was on her bed.
She walked over scanning the shelf for the book she wanted before pulling it out and flipping through the pages to the chapter she was looking for, the more she read the more excited she got before she bounded over to Ratri, seriously across the room in one leap, and held the book open for him. "I think this is what we need, I'll have to figure out how to tweak it a bit but this is the general principle." she said, holding the book out for him to read the spell.

Råtrî Jõlon Hædrîan "Yeah whatever." Still pouty.
Ratri moved over to the bed, standing near Heather now without really thinking about it, as he watched Zlo move to her book shelves. It was really a stroke of luck that he hadn't destroyed any of them.
Zlo came back with a book, which Ratri took and began to scan it over very quickly. He was a speed reader to be sure, and had excellent memory. In fact, he probably had the potential to do just what she said, but he didn't have the patience.
"Interesting. It certainly contains the right elements. I'm just not sure how to actually direct it... plus, it wasn't intended for the scale that we desire, by any means. This sounds even more draining then what we did by accident."
Ratri handed the book back to Zlo. "It's a good start." Then he sat on the bed, right next to Heather, and finally, looked at her.

RynnTheRaven Renee Fletcher Renee was becoming a little anxious, the way he spoke. It really didn't comfort her, though she knew that was the point, but she had complete trust in him.
Another shiver ran through her as his breath hit the soft flesh of her stomach, and she looked to him with a weak smile. "I trust you, Angel, more than anything. I am completely sure about this... About... being with you like this. It's...what I want." She assured him, eyes bright despite her constant trembling.
