Kudo's visible emerald green eye widened a little. "How often." He lay his hand gently on the gauze.

Hiryo fingers interlocked with Kudo it payed to be double jointed. "I don't know..they kept doing that while I was with Shadow."

"I'll need to tell mother. It doesn't hurt you does it?" Kudo looked down at the hand Hiryo had grabbed, her gave a very slight half smile and held onto it. His eyes were a little glassy, wavering on indecision and mild concern for the boy he'd grown to like. Kudo saw Hiryo as a friend who needed him more then Kudo needed to sulk in himself, and that was worth dying for, should Hiryo need it that way at least.

"The scars hurt at times when I strech to far or if it going to rain other wise no it doens't hurt." He said smiling as Kudo grasped his fingers back.

"Mom can do something, I trust her, that is only if you want her to." Kudo said gently wishing that he'd been around to protect Hiryo before this'd happened to him. He didn't deserve this, and it saddened Hiryo. Kudo's eye looked at all Hiryo's scars and he wished he could make them go away, he averted his eye after a moment but didn't pull his hand away, it was if his hand belonged there.

Hiryo released Kudo fingers taking back his hand and pulled his shirt back up or tried to. "I'll let her see them." He said looking softly "Though Kudo I like you hand there but I want to get my shirt on."

Kudo turned a little red and pulled his hand back as if it burned and then he turned his back to Hiryo as he picked up his chest. "Sorry."

Hiryo pulled the shirt up streghtening it. "For what?" He asked softly looking at Kudo.

Hiryo stepped next to Kudo resting his head on the others shoulders wings flickering. "Are you upset?"

"No. No I'm not upset, I never really get upset anymore." Kudo said ignoring the smaller boy as he started walking. "Come on, I'd like you to see Zan before night falls soon."

Hiryo sigh hurrying after Kudo. "Alright. It's alright to be upset Kudo." He called running ahead of the fox.

Kudo was going to argue but suddenly, he wasn't in the mood for it and he nodded as he kept walking. After a few more minutes they arrived home, Kudo opened the door, set down Hiryo's trunk by the door for a moment then waited for Hiryo to come in so he could close the door. He didn't say a word amongst this whole thing and he looked as if he was thinking. He should've stayed distant, he was better without friends, better not hurting others and not getting hurt. He was getting a sickening feeling that because he was becoming closer in friendship with Hiryo something was bound to go terribly wrong and someone was going to get hurt. Kudo's visible emerald eye looked worried but the rest of his face was emotionless.

Hiryo walked in and sat down on his trunk looking up at Kudo. "Your worried about something Kudo. YOur eye is so worried. I'm sorry to have worried you." He said softly turning his head away.
