our baked beans are not the same as yours thoughEirwyn.
Brit beans are in a strange orange colour 'tomato' sauce, not the molassess and so on that yours are cooked in.

I know; I bought a can of Heinz Baked Beans at a gourmet shop so I could try Beans on Toast this spring after we had a big discussion on the SciFi Channel Doctor Who forum about the Doctor mentioning it on Doctor Who last season (which just showed on SciFi in America). I have to admit I prefer ours. Bush's Baked Beans are the best anywhere! 3nodding
I ended up horrifying the UK crowd by creating Mutant Baked Beans on Toast--made with Bush's Barbecue Baked Beans over a split biscuit (American biscuit!) with shredded cheese on top. I liked that. biggrin They all laughed at me. razz mrgreen
