Selce stared wide at the forest, she could see a bit of something through the woods, but couldn't quite make it out. "I see something ahead, I think your right Anduril." She stated and watched him closely. ------------ Aisha had moved off to the right of the path when she saw something through the woods. She decided to wait for nightfall and then she would get the answers she needed. She grinned in anticipation of the thought, but as the little voice spoke again in her head. 'What your about to do is wrong, you'll never get free of the demonic lords and redeem yourself in your own eye's if you go through with it.' Aisha kept her frown and just began to wait, now unsure of what she would do.

The massive forest Keiza was currently wandering about had to be Pershna. There was no other forest like it. She reached into her bag and pulled out her map. Combined with the humid air around her and the heat of her cheeks, her glasses fogged so she just lifted them up on her brow and continued to stare at the map. A lost assassin, a bad jape it is. Releasing a sigh, she stuffed the map back into the bag at her hip and continued on. She was suppose to be off to Netura by now but she seemed to be walking in circles at the moment. Keiza released a sigh and plopped down on a rotted log. She'll just wait for it to get cooler, this heat was unbearable especially seeing as she was in all layers.

Anduril glanced in the direction Selce indecated."Think it's safe to use weapons?" He asked, his hand reaching for his bow.

"My rules apply all the time." The voice cried out again from all around the group. "Weapons will get you killed and I have no power over the plants at this time of day." The voice laughed as an arrow flew past the group and skimmed Anduril's arm he was using to reach for his bow. "Touch it and that arrow will go through that head of yours." The voice laughed as the arrow was picked up by some vines and brought back into the darkness of a tree. Cries from things were heard as the arrow flew back and hit a tree in front of the group. "See my plants are still around." The voice cried out laughing.

"I said before, if we are attacked then we will defend ourselves," Anduril told the mysterious Elf."You will have to be very quick to get an arrow through me."

Keiza shrugged off her large traveler's cloak and pulled out a small book, quill and ink bottle from her bag. She placed the bottle on the log and crouched down low on the grown to examine a plant. "Jimson Weed." She dipped the quill into the ink and wrote down the name of the plant and where she found it in her little book before setting the book itself on the rotted log and reaching for the plant. Now she could make a nice little poison for her katars.

Not that Kayn would ever admit it, but there was something about the forest that made her uneasy, and all she could really focus on was the different ways she was going to tear that shadow mage to bits. Perhaps it was that figure she sensed following them that made her a bit anxious.
“Where exactly were these rebels now?” she growled as she looked around.

Nalken smiled. "Ah, my demonic friend. We are NO where close to Pershna. We have still miles to go before we get there! This fine Elf has no power there; only this forest belongs to him! Best we keep on and maintain his good graces." He walked lightly on, enjoying the air and humming a merry tune.

"What the hell are you talking about!?" Althenna demanded, moving from mild irritation at having an attempt made on her life to royally pissed for being in the wrong place, "Purshna runs through Netura and Setar! It's pretty much every tree in the south east of the known lands! And you're telling me this doesn't count?! Now I really feel like killing something." She grumbled.

"The way you know the Pershna woods are a long way away, but not the way I'm going,"Anduril said to Nalken."These woods have no name that I know of, but they were once part of the Pershna woods." The last part was aimed at Altenna.

Selce stared at the the rest of group. Despite the many history and geography lessons she had been taught ,due to her noble born heritage, she had learned nothing specific about this small strip of woods she was in. "As you will, I do believe we are quite close to something." She strained her eye's to see by the line of tree's but they created enough protection to only see there was something on the other side, not discern what it was. --------- Aisha grumbled as she caught scent of the group. She followed her nose around to look directly towards the group. The wall of tree's in front of her prevented her from going ahead through them so she would have to double back behind the group. Her frown started to turn into a feral grin but quickly moved back down as she remembered what the voice had told her.

Nalken nodded in Anduril's direction. "Indeed, sir elf. That is the case. These trees are generally thought to be part of the "Old" Forest, if you will. Ironically, they are actually a relatively new colony of Pershna's trees, but was seperated during a major logging campaign by Neutra's new "king", as it were. And by the way, I believe that there is something behind that wall of trees there," He continued, pointing at said wall at which Selce was staring.

Valora snickered under her breath at Althenna's mumble. But her amusement faded fast when Nalken mentioned that there was something behind the wall of trees.
While still supporting Althenna as best as possible, Val widened her stance for a better attack (or defense) position. She glared at Nalken again. "Why do you always treat things so lightly?" she spoke, obviously annoyed with his light-heartedness again. No matter if there is a fight ahead... I don't need my weapon to kick some a**...

Nalken smiled as he picked drew out his 6-foot quarterstaff. Ah...this would do just fine. And pose little threat to the sturdy trees. "My good friend, a cheery disposition and lack of negative emotions does NOT mean that I live in a fanciful dreamworld; I merely see things in a...more abstract light, as it were? It makes life infinitely more pleasant when no one can truly anger you except when you wish to be. And do stay back, as I shall deal with this. Nothing in a wood is hidden to MY eyes. I lived in woods all my life." He raised his voice. "HO THERE, HIDDEN WATCHER! BEHIND THE TREE-WALL! YES, DO COME OUT! We wish you no harm!" He twirled the quarterstaff around, so quickly that it briefly vanished from sight, and then calmly tapped it into the ground, stopping it cold. He looked like a man with a steel bound walking stick.

Selce grimaced at Nalken's boastful countenance. "As you will, oh powerful protector." She made of Nalken and stopped directly behind him. With hand on hilt she looked over his left shoulder. "If you would continue, anything lurking behind the tree's to catch us off guard would not leave the protection of the trees to attack, no matter how eloquent the reasons you give." She couldn't stop a smile from reaching her lips as she waited. ----- Aisha waited in the shadow of a large tree. With such a large form it was quite hard to stay hidden, let alone sneak up on anyone. 'You can not go through with this, you'll ne-' and with that Aisha ended the voice with some concentration. She could wait as long as needed to, she still wasn't sure inside herself as to what she would do if she got the chance her Lord wanted.
