Sora shook his head watching the two of them as he leaned up against a tree. It seemed as if they were always fighting. He silently wondering how they had managed to stay together for so long so far.
"Don't worry about me Athena. My kit is out looking for something for us to eat..." He began.
Then a huge boom sounded close by in the forest. Sora couldn't help but smile and shake his head again.
"And I do believe that that is my cue for dinner..." He muttered aloud, and walked off into the forest.
Soon enough he and the kit were back. The kit with a proud little look on it's face, and Sora carrying a newly roasted deer on his shoulder. He dropped it down by Leon and Athena on the fire to keep it warm.
"Help yourselves." He said calmly, then walking to his pack. There he took off his now dirty shirt, and grabbed a clean one that he put on.
He then joined them again at the fire, taking out a dagger, and cutting off a peice of the deer for both him and the kit. Knowing that it was fully cook from the kit's skills.

Sora sat there silently after telling Athena "Good night, sleep well..." when she said that she was going to go to sleep for the night.
Cutting off another peice of venison he ate it, just sitting there quietly thinking. The kit also eatting a little, and clearly relising in the food, even if it wasn't fish.
Eventually Sora got up and set up a sort of rack over the fire. He then cut up the rest of the deer and began to smoke the meat so it would last longer.
We're not eatting all of it? the kit asked puzzled.
Nope. Sora replied.
But we always do that...
I'm not changing in front of him. Besides we're going to need the meat later if we're going to be taking care of Athena.
But we could always catch something...
No we can't. I'm not going to rely on that kit. That may just work for the two of us, but not while we have someone with us. They need to eat more than us. And more frequently. Besides, it might be good to stay human for a while.
The kit let out a frustrated sigh. Not truely understanding.
Sora couldn't help but chuckle at it. "Don't worry it will still be good..." he said rubbing the kit's head. Saying it out loud for Leon's benifit, so he wasn't suspecious of anything.
Once the meat was done, Sora pulled out a bag, and stored it away for later. He then pulled out a cloak, and bed roll for him and the kit to sleep on.

Sora watched as Leon put the necklace on Athena and go back to sleep.
"Goodnight Leon." He said to him, knowing that he wouldn't be there when they woke up in the morning.
Fools. he suddenly then heard from next to him.
Sora looked down at the kit curled up next to him, and looking out around the campsite. What do you mean? he asked the kit.
Don't you remember where we are? Who knows what really lurks in these woods. You know what I speak of, we encountered it the last time. These people just go to sleep without a care in the world. No guard system or anything. the kit calmly exsplained looking up and into his eyes.
Sora looked up and into the woods. Knowing that the kit deffently had a point. Think we're in any danger?
No. But I'm still going to stay up and watch. the kit told him.
Want to take shifts? Sora asked it.
The kit laughed inside of his head. No I will be fine. Sleep Sora. I will watch you all. the kit told him, getting up and walking out of sight. The whole time slowly growing in size.
Sora sighed watching him go. Knowing that even though the kit was watching over them, he would still not sleep very well.

Sora watched through half open eyes what happened. As he knew Leon left Athena there.
He had first woke up when he first heard Leon stiring though. His hand on a dagger under his cloak just in case the kit's warning came true. When he just saw it was Leon he relaxed, and just watched then as he was now.
He hadn't exspected Athena to wake as well, and clearly neither did Leon.
Poor Athena Sora couldn't help but think as he listened to them talking. Probably trying not to wake him up.
Sora repressed a sigh as he heard of how Athena didn't want to stay with him, and wanted to go with Leon. He knew that Leon would make her stay. But he didn't know if she would leave anyways just to be by herself for a while. Won't stop her if she does... he thought quietly. Wouldn't blame her if she wanted to anyways...
He then watched as Leon walked out of the camp, and Athena went back to sleep. Sora couldn't help but wonder what would happen when she awoke again.
So is he finally gone? the kit's voice suddenly asked him in his mind.
Yes.
There was a moment of silence. Ok. Just wondering... is breakfast going to be ready soon? the kit said with honest just kitten curiosity.
Sora chuckled in his mind. Aye, i think that could be aranged... he told the kit. Getting up silencly then, and begining to make a sort of breakfast stew. Including the meat that had been cooked the night before in a pot that Sora pulled out of his pack. The kit suddenly showing up at Sora's side, and starting up the fire, to warm the area, and cook the food. At least til it was ready to be eatten.
Sora then went to the stream and got more water in another container, to put in the food to keep it like a stew til Athena awoke. So nothing dried out til then.
He then sat back against one of the closer trees, and waited. Watching the sun rise slowly as he did through the tree tops.

"Good morning" Sora said back to her with a smile to accompany.
"Want some breakfast?" He then asked her, motioning to the stew that he and the kit had made before she awoke.

Sora nodded in silent agreement.
"I know." He said quietly almost to himself. Knowing that she should be safe in the forest as long as she did not go far.
The kit however did not believe so, and soon was to it's feet. Padding after Athena at a short distance.
Knowing fully well itself what the forest was capable of.

The kit followed her until she plopped herself down in the woods. Since they were now traveling with this girl, it did not want to loose her to the forest. It knew of what the forest was capible of, and it had already almost swallowed Sora when they were leaving the house.
Fortunelly the kit was there to direct the forest's power so they only walked in circles for a time. It glanced back the way it had come, and with a content feeling knew that Sora was safe where he was, even if it wasn't there to protect him. This forest knew better than to mess with the kit.
"Meow?" it said, sitting down next to Athena then, wondering if she would start talking to it. Just like all humans did when cats were around.
