Jon looked over at her as she explained. "Then I'll wait for you to get out of the store and drive you home." He took a big bite of his food before turning back to look at the road, his brown locks swishing a bit with the movement.
"There's too many creeps out there to let you alone like that." He smirked before hitting his blinker and pulling to the right, going down a side street so that he wouldn't risk any swerving on a busy street while he ate.
Yep, Jon... Always thinking of other people. Strange as that might have been, considering everything. But still.
He took another few bites before making his way towards the store. "Don't even try and fight sweetheart. I'm not letting you go alone." Yeah, after finding her on a bench...
He didn't even want to think about where she'd end up next.
The thougths just worried him, for some odd reason. And he couldn't stop glancing over at her. Those eyes... they just... Gah! They seemed so familiar!
He parked.
"Where are you from?" Random. Odd. Even a tad creeperish. But still. It was bothering him like no other.

"It not far from there really, I'll be fine..." she trailed off as he went on, apparently not going to let that one go.
Damn.
There was no way she could be dropped off by another man. Oh, but she was just being paranoid wasn't she? There was also no way Miah would be up at this time. Yeah, it would be fine.
Oh no wait! What if one of his friends saw!?!? Or a neighbor?? Of course, Kori dismissed the fact that most of their neighbors seemed to be afraid of him and said the minimal word to him....
And he kept looking at her, why??
Really. Calm down. This was stupid. And yet her heart was thumping! But it wasn't an, erie feeling, like this dude is gonna rape you foreboding or anything creepy like that! So then why....
"Wha- Oh. Orlando, Florida. I've lived here for a couple years though." She said immediately with a little shrug. Well, that's where she originated from. She'd moved when she was 7, but still considered it her home town, well, city, and moved around a lot in the next year until the settled down. Soooo yeah. It was easiest just to go with the home town.

Jon sighed. "Oh. Nevermind. Sorry." He parked at the store and unlocked the doors.
"You still gotta go inside? Then I'll drop ya off. Unless you want me to go in with ya?" He laughed lightly.
"Ya know those early bird, grocery store creepers. They're always in there wallowing around in their own self created misery, looking for some sexy thang to bang all night in the produce aisle."
He winked at her, always lightening the mood. Or trying to.
Then he chuckled. "You'd be a right on hitter."

And down here from the ground, I see who you areHe seemed disappointed... Oh! Did Jon still think he knew her from somewhere? Well, she supposed it was possible, considering how much she had moved around. Three different elementary schools, two middle schools, and two high schools.
And there was something... but No. She couldn't place him anywhere.
"Oh it's fine. I won't be long, there's no point of coming in." Kori said with a shrug.
Although, she hadn't expected what he said next. It was a joke, clearly, but still.
She looked down when he winked, but there was a little sile on her face.
Then she looked back up at him, while also unbuckling her seat belt. "You've done so much for me already, really.Thank you very much." she said, and very sincerely too. He had no idea how weird this was for her, but in a good way! Wasn't it?
Anyway, she opened the door and slipped out, naturally hooking her bag around her shoulder. She waved to him before turning around and quickly made her way across the pavement.
She hoped he would find the money she had left for him eventually. Even without paying he had... Done a lot.

Jonathen was even more disappointed when she didn't laugh. "I wasn't trying to offend you or anything," He muttered softly. But she was just thanking him and then getting out of the car.
"Kori, hey at least give me your--" Your what? Number?
Right. Because that would work out well at home.
Kori? That slut from the pictures?!
Oh yeah. Perfect picture really. He shook his head as the door shut and he grunted.
Jon sat there, still as ever for a long time. What seemed like hours though, had only been a few minutes. And he was due back home any second now. He put the car into reverse and drove home, not even thinking or paying any attention to the roads or traffic.

No. The name just didn't fit the face. Or the picture in his head more or less.
And without even noticing, Jon arrived at home. He gathered up the trash and bags before heading out of the car and up to the complex. He threw away the empty bags, making sure not to leave a trace. McDonalds was bad for him and blah blah blah. He wouldn't be as cute with flub. And blah blah blah.
Whatever.

And down here from the ground, I see who you areShe wouldn't admit it, but it was with a heavy heart that Kori walked into the store with Jon's car still waiting behind her- and forced herself not to look back. She knew he would be gone by the time she was done here, quick or no, but it would have been so easy to turn and run back, even now...
Of course she didn't.
No, instead Kori moved in, going right for the aisle she would need. Of course, when he found out she had gone to the store, she knew Jeremiah would likely come up with things she should have magically known he wanted, but she could get a few things other than her main goal to try and pacify him. Try, being the key word.
For now, she walked through the section containing all kinds of alcohol and grabbed one of those little baskets you held, on her way. The fist thing she took of a shelf, and very reluctantly, was his favorite hard liquor. After that, it was for a 12 pack of beer- bottles, he disliked the cans. He never told her why, but Kori had a hunch. Beer cans didn't shatter.
Afterward she went around, got his favorite brand of chips and some beef jerky- ended up with nothing for herself in order to conserve money- ans checked out. When doing so, Kori has made sure her sweater didn't reveal a thing and did her best to ignore the throbbing ache that had returned after dissipating only a little while ago.
Kori was lucky it had still been pretty dark while with Jon as well, because she was pretty sure some blood had matted in her hair at the back, but he hadn't noticed.
After that, all she had to do was walk home... home. The word didn't seem to fit so well any longer.

Jonathen quietly opened the door and creeped inside. He looked around. No signs of the blonde. Thank ******** god.
He put everything in its place and removed his clothes slowly as he headed for the bedroom.
He slowly put them away before crawling back into bed with Audrey. His arms snaked around her, praying that she would wake up happy.
Or at least.. not mad. He pressed a soft kiss to her head before snuggling his head against her back and kissing her skin gently.

And down here from the ground, I see who you areKori made her way out of the store with twoo bags in hand. The 12 pack was of course, very heavy, and the other had a bigger bottle along with the lighter stuff. It wasn't really very much fun carrying all that home.
However, she did eventually make it back, so she went in very quietly, knowing she was in some deep s**t if she woke Jeremiah up this early. The sun was just coming up by the time she had arrived too.
The beer went where it always did, and the rest of the alcohol was placed in the freezer. The chips and jerky were left on the counter in plain site, and with that, feeling quite exhausted, even more than she should, Kori put her little back pack into the closet once more and took everything else out of it, putting them where they belonged. With a heavy heart.
Once that was done she stashed her shoes and tried getting comfy on the couch, maybe get a couple more hours of sleep.

Fortunately for Jon, Audrey did not awake entirely he while he was gone. She had drifted in and out of a light and deep sleep, but that was all, turned a little around, but never fully woke up.
When he returned and slipped back into bed however, her eyes opened as he situated himself.
And yet, not fully all there, Audrey smiled at him and kissed his lips before snuggling up to him and drifting back off to sleep.
Sometimes, when she was really tired, she got like that- but only when she was either already half asleep like now, or due to lack of sleep, but that had to be a lot to get passed the ******** stage.
Seeing something like that, it almost made you forget what a heartless b***h she could be- but it was a rare occurrence anyway.   XXX||X||Audreana||X||Melony||X||Scotts||X||

Jon was suprised by Audreys cute reaction to him. He smiled gently and ran his fingers through her hair while his eyes shut slowly.
He felt his heart sink though as he did. Small gestures like the one the blonde he loved just made, rarely happened. She was being kind of lovey... And he felt like s**t.
But he was only helping Kori. Its not like he was secretly screwing around with her. So, it was okay. Right? Right?
As long as she didn't find out.
But didn't the fact that he had to hide it make it bad? Or was it just that she over reacted about things?
Gah.
Too complicated.
Jon buried his face into her hair and ventually drifted back into a fitful sleep.

Miah woke up hours later, heading straight for the bathroom. After taking a piss, he went to the medicine cabinet. But he couldn't find aspirin. And his head was pounding like no other.
He grumbled in his raspy morning voice before throwing open the bathroom door. He called out, "KORI!" But his voice broke and he clutched his head as he walked into the living room.
He tripped over his own foot slightly, but didn't fall..thankfully.
He leaned over the couch, his breath still stinking. "I need the ******** headache medicine."
Miah groaned. "Dammit KORI! Wake the ******** up!"

And down here from the ground, I see who you areKori had hardly been able to sleep at all after that. It's not like the couch was that uncomfortable, though it wasn't the best either... But she just couldn't stop THINKING.
She must have dozed off a few times though. And yet, she stayed there even when she normally would have been up. It's not like there was any point in laying there when she clearly wasn't going to get any real rest, but what point was there to really get up?
It was Saturday... She didn't have to work... So what was the point? It was just the same thing as every other day. Of course, she didn't usually sleep on the couch... but it wasn't the first time either.
For now, she was on her side, face turned into the back of the couch with her knees curled up, putting her almost into a little ball, meaning her butt hit the edge of the couch. She had a light blanket... Yeah, she could just lay there for as long as she could and not do anything.
Well. So much for that plan.
Kori heard him up before he came out, but she made no move. That is, until he was bumbling through the living room, shouting her name. Yep. Same as ever other ******** day.
She surprised herself by these bitter thoughts actually... Why...?
But she had no time to dwell on it with him yelling again, so she turned over. Medicine, that's what he wanted right?
Kori got up, blinking at the light that came through the living room window, showing that it was hours after she would normally be up, weekend or no. "Come on" she said, walking into the room he had just vacated and then into the bathroom.
It took her about 5 seconds to get a new bottle of aspirin out of the drawer, where she kept reserves, after seeing that there was none in the cabinet. She better than to let them run out, considering how often this happened.
"Here honey" she said, getting pills out for him, but sounding surprisingly detached, tired, deflated. She just... hadn't gotten enough sleep.
