Kara laughed softly and winced. "I didn't really believe mom was on the wanted list, but now that is cleared up for me. Of corse I am going to stay here, this was my first home, and home is where the heart stays, no matter how far you go."
Phantom took the first aid kit from Eddy and dragged Kara inside her office, closing the door. "Brother, I would sagest you go out, unless you want to see your neice half naked while I treat her wounds."

Edward cringed. "Yeah you do that." Edward heard a crash in the lobby. "You take care of Kara, Ill check on that." Edward sprinted down the hall to see what made the noise. "Uh, hello ma'am, can I help you?"

Andy glanced over her shoulder, saying curtly. " ill pay for the table, where is Edward Grey?"
Miri sat up, shakeing herself before shifting as well. offering Andy lop sided grin she giggled quietly. " it was fun."

Phantom sighed and closed the door behind Eddy. She got all the damaged clothing off of Kara and wrapped her up in a long thing of gozz. "I wish I could heal you sweetie, but you burned it, so now its going to scar something fearce." She went through her office and pulled out some old clothes for Kara to wear for now.
Kara got dressed and sighed. "I know, but I was losing a lot of blood, and Quin couldn't do anything for it. He says hi by the way and we should go see him soon. Is it wrong for me wanting to call him uncle?"
"I don't have a problem with it, he did spoil you like a real uncle should have. He was your father's most trusted friend so that made him a brother to your dad, so yeah, you can call him uncle if you wish." Phantom looked at the door and then back to Kara. "You stay here, I am off to see what that crash was now." Phantom walked out of her office and stood next Eddy quietly, with a greating smile on her face.

" looking for Phantom Grey." she replied, side stepping the question smoothly. turning slightly away she brushed the wood from Miri's shoulders, her tone oddly amused. " its destructive, baby. breaking things is fun, but you shouldnt do it unless its yours."
" alright.." lifting a hand she touched the table, watching it ripple. in a matter of moments it was as good as new, Miri standing and dusting herself off. " better..?"
" Much." her attention back on Edward and Phantom she finished firmly. " i am in need of a safe place for my cub. may she stay here?"
(( sorry for the slow responce, had to clean the kitchen.))

"Phantom is right here." He gestured to phantom walking up to him. "And yes this is a safe haven. You can keep your cub here."

studying them both for a moment she took in every detail, how they held themselves, height, and arm reach.. it was who she was, after all. what good was a body guard that couldnt read people? nodding stiffly she caught Miri's hand, pulling her forward gently and gestureing at Edward and Phantom. " Miri, you will listen to these two until i get back."
instently her hand twitched, unsure how to respond. slowly though she nodded, swallowing her fear as she said quietly. " ok.." she didnt like the idea of being away from Andy.. after all, she had only just woken up.. but she would do as she was told.

Brannon walked into the building and was almost floored to the ground when he seen his grandfather. Seeing that he was talking with someone else he just sat in a chair and waited.

" just for a day or two.. thank you for careing for her." she needed to speak to Asa, and disliked the idea of her cub near Howlers. hugging Miri she promised to be back soon, shifting as she left.
Miri watched her go, pale eyes warry as she fiddled with a strand of hair.

Mimicry had been fortunate enough to give Gage and Mina the slip. Which had ultimately led her here, The Red Cross. The familiarity of this place brought her peace of mind. Her parasol, torn and rusted over the years she'd been dead dragged behind her, making a scraping sound across the floor.

Edward and give Miri to Phantom to take care of. The sound of a scraping on the floor drew his attention as well as Brannon's attenion to Mim. Edward was speachless, he just walked up to Mim. "Is it really you?"

Phantom looked down at the small girl and smiled at her, kneeling down to her eye level. "And what is your name small one?" She saw Brannon come in but egnored him. She didn't notice Mim come in though.

"Eddy..." Mim said quietly. "Why am I not surprised. Of course you'd be here, The Red Cross was always you, Eddy." She grinned, brushing her hair behind her ear and said, "Who else could I be? I don't see any other swiss cheesed women walking around here."

Edward nearly tackled her as he hugged her. "I have missed you so much. When you died, I didn't know what to do, I couldn't find anyone who would help me."

Brannon just walked away from his great aunt. She didn't want to respond to him find. So much for being nice. He just went and sat down and waiting for a chance to talk to Edward.
