"So how about we get to the Commander before eternities end?" He asked off the wall. "I'm getting tired of this slow pace. And besides, I can follow his scent easily."
He looked her way and turned his head in the questioning puppy look again.

Zukota finally grew tired of beating himself up, and started walking at a normal pace, "I guess I had better get over to Mayuri before those two catch up; I'll have to threaten him to make sure he won't do anything stupid while my guests use his tech. I think I'll borrow a few of his researchers as well, there are too many scrolls for just the three of us to work on."
He flash stepped his way to the entrance of the research and development headquarters and then walked through the entry way with the composure of the Captain Commander.

Zukota hated the smell of the eleventh division headquarters; it always smelled like death and chemicals. He continued walking until he reached Mayuri's office, there, he and Nemu were working steadily on something.
"Knock, knock," the Commander said, "I hope I'm not interrupting you."
"Actually," Mayuri said excitedly, "you have arrived at exactly the right time, I have had a breakthrough with these phantoms that keep appearing."
"You have?" Zukota asked surprised, "what is it?"
"I've managed to capture one in an experimental field that I was developing," He smiled wickedly, "I've been examining it all day, and I think I may be able to communicate with it."
"Do it," he said, "find out whatever you can from the phantom and send me a report. In the mean time I am going to borrow a few of your staff with knowledge of ancient texts."
Mayuri seemed to lose interest, "fine, do whatever you like."
