"Well lets practice." Seth handed her the torch and said. "I want you to send the fire from this torch onto this box." He put the box on the ground at their feet. Taking a few steps back he continued. "Concentrate on the fire, any little distraction at your level could send the fire flying around these tunnels like a bat out of hell. Remember that you want it to destroy the box completely."

She took a few steps back from the box, not wanting to get burnt again. "This is going to be fun." Lily cleared her mind on concentrated just on the fire and sending it towards the box. After about 5 minutes the box burst into flames, but so did several other things in the room. "Whoa. That was cool. So how do we get rid of the fire now? Because I have no idea how that happened."

Seth snapped his fingers and all of the fire in the room combined into a sphere next to him. He bounced the sphere of flame up and down a bit. "Not bad for your first shot. We'll practice more after we get that sword." With that being said he shot the fire down the tunnel they had came in. "Huh, I hope now one is down that way...Ah well."

"Well, if anyone is down there they are probably burnt to death by now. So keep going?" She said this more to herself then him, and she continued walking.

"Well we all need to learn to duck eventually." Seth said walking along with her. Eventually they came upon an armory. There were many weapons. Swords, mace, axes, guns, daggers. "Here we are. Go on and pick on a weapon you like." As he said this he took a look at some of the daggers. He had been meaning to get a new one.

"Wow. This is a lot of weapons." She quickly spotted the perfect sword and grabbed it. It looked exactly like an old sword of hers from years ago.

Seth flipped a dagger into the air and caught it. "I think I'll go with this one. Light, agile, smooth blade. It's perfect." He took his old dagger out of it's sheath. "Ah old friend, its time for us to part." He laid the old dagger where he had found the new one. Sheathing the dagger in his boot he said. "So, you like that one eh?"

"Yes, it is just like one I had a very long while back. It just feels... comfortable I guess." She examined it until she saw something. "How did they get my sword!?" She pointed to the initials LI hilt of the sword. "This is my sword!"

"Really?" Seth said with a look of question. "That is odd. Well it's good you have a weapon you can put a part of yourself in. A good weapon should be like a partner, someone you can trust completely." He took a moment to look at his revolver and said. "How did you lose your sword anyway?"

"When I ran away from home. I am pretty sure I either dropped it along the way, or it got stolen." Lily looked at it and sighed. "Sometimes I wonder if running away was the best idea."

Seth took a seat on some of the boxes next to her. "We all make mistakes under stress. Like when my dad died I....uh never mind. Why did you run away from home?."

"Well my parents didn't really like me being a Lugaru. I was adopted, and they didnt know that I was when they did adopt me. They abused me. A lot. It was only me though, sometimes I would go without eating for a week or two. Its like they were preparing me too run away in a way. Toughening me up? It did help though.They were starting to get better when I ran away though, but I did anyway, because I couldn't take it." Lily felt kind of weird saying any of this, because she had never told anyone anything about her family. She was amazed though at how easy it came out, seeing as she had denied she even had a family for many years, telling no one anything. "What happened when your dad died?"
