Desidarius sat up when Jennifer came in. He looked to his daughter, asking the same question Angel had with his eyes.
"Okay..." Jennifer told them the whole story about what happened when he came downstairs up to the part where he stormed out. She intentionally left out the part about her and Gabe since she figured her parents wouldn't approve. "And now he's out in the middle of the forest, Gabe is out alone trying to find him, but we can't. He told me to come get you two."

Angel nodded and looked to Darius, "See if you can go find him. Jenny and I will stay back here and be ready for you when you three get back." She looked at Jenny, "You're brother will be fine. And we're going to have a little talk while your father goes to help."

"But I want to go with dad. Please? I can help." Jenny asked with her big brown eyes.
Darius looked away. "Listen to your mom. I'll be back." He kissed Angel's cheek and patted Jenny's head before porting off after Gabe's presence and scent.
Jenny looked super nervous. "Yes?"

Angel stood up and walked to her daughter, "Seems like something is on your mind. Mind me asking what it is, since I'd like to know a little more about you. You have a...look in your eye that I've just seen before." She started to the stairs to help with the boys return.
Gabe was still sitting trying to track Aiden. He growled under his breath not able to do anything

Jennifer shook her head. "No mom. I'm just hungry is all. Been a few days since I've really eaten." She said trying to cover herself as she followed.
Darius walked to Gabe. "Calm down. Where did his trail end? We can probably still track him."

Gabe seemed confused as he still could hear nothing and he growled more under his breath not knowing who it was.
Angel nodded and took a few things out of the closet. "Alright, you know me and your father do look after you and want the best for you and your brother. Run some water in a bowl and bring it to the table near the couch."

Jennifer nodded. "I know...but I can take care of myself sometimes too though..." She got a big bowl and filled it with water, all the way to the brim. Without spilling it, she put it by the couch.
Darius looked to the boy, wondering why he wouldn't respond. Gabe. Answer me will ya? We need to find Aiden." He tried to send to his mind.

"I dont know where he is. The trail left as soon as I got to here. I cant hear, smell or see anything. I'm useless if I cant hear at least. Wait, where's Jenny?"
Angel smiled "I know Jenny. A mother just worries about her daughter, and her son..but only from time to time since when you two are this age I dont have to baby you anymore."

Jenny smiled. "Is that a 'yes you are allowed to date now' statement you just made?" She said innocently.
Darius frowned. "Where did you lose his scent?" He answered, intentionally leaving Jenny out.

Gabe stood up weakly and walked a few steps then pointed down with his paw "Right there. And then everything just went blank. I cant hear, speak or see."
Angel looked at Jenny and thought for a moment. "I'm not sure. Is there someone you want to date?"

Jenny blushed and looked down. "Uhm..no...just a...general question mom..not for anyone specific yet anyway." She said correcting herself.
Darius looked Gabe over. "You should go home. You are not fit to be out here like this. You should regain your strength at home and wait for me to come back with Aiden. Okay?"

Gabe shook his head and was determined to stay and find his friend "No, he left because of me and Jenny and now I'm going to help find him."
Angel smiles trying not to laugh at her innocence. "Well alright. But if there was would you tell me?"

Darius looked to him, raising an eyebrow. "What happened with you and Jenny to make him leave?" He asked as he continued to look around and think.
Jenny thought for a second. "Mom...please...let me do this one by myself? If it gets to the point where you need to meet him..then sure..but until then, you gotta wait."

Gabe put his ears back and was silent for a moment. "Nothing.."
Angel laughed some and nodded "Oh alright."

Darius sniffed the air. "Aiden!" He looked to Gabe. "It had to be something. He doesn't just get mad at you for nothing. Don't lie Gabe. Tell me what happened. I already know what Jenny said...but I want to hear your side."
Jenny smiled, though on the inside sighed relief that her mom hat let it go so easily. "Mom...is there any food left? I'm really hungry."
