I know a Rowan spelt 'Ruadhan"
and a read spelt "Raed"
Sterling's parents were both English I think, and his siblings all had odd names. His last named was hyphenated so we just ended up calling him V.J.

Its the correct way to spell it in my opinion. Its Irish, like Seamus(Shay-mus) or Seanade(Shen-aid).

Dude my brother's name is Sheamus xp
And there's an odd "sea-muss" type pronounciation I've heard. It's lame though.
