GUUUUY LOVE~
The patting did wonders to further settle Chris down...though now Chef was stuck with a snuggled, clingy, -purring- drugged up host.
.....s**t.
At least he was falling asleep?

Falling asleep was a plus, except... Chef wanted more than a chicken finger to eat. Freakin' munchies, now he was stuck watching a movie with a sleeping host. Oh well, he's been in worse situations.
...Then again, this didn't really qualify as a bad situation to be in. He was on a comfy couch watching a movie with destruction, and interns were forced to keep a 24-hour watch on his kitchen until he returned to it. Aside from the host making his arm numb... it was a nice break after making campers go through his obstacle course, heh heh.

And juuuust as he was falling asleep....
The host sat straight up (dragging Chef's arm with him) and blinked.
"Dude..I'm thirsty." ....At least Chef could nab some food now?

If you give a McLean a cookie chicken finger...
Chef grumbled. "Yeah, yeah, ah'll get you somethin'. What'chu want, man?" He tugged his arm free and stood up, quickly going to the kitchen area before McLean could grab his arm. Or tailhug him.

The host slid off the couch, stumbling to follow Chef. Mmmm big fluffy tail looked comfortable or something...
"Iiiii dunnooooooo."
...Chef-man was going to have to force the host to stay down and go back to sleep for this s**t to wear off.

The unexpected sound of Chris attempting (and failing) to follow him prompted Chef to whirl around, just in case a camper was trying to break in. Thankfully that was not the case, but the sleepy host didn't look very comfortable there.
With a sigh, Chef picked Chris up and placed him back onto the couch. "Nao yew need to stay here, man. Someone needs to keep the couch warm, right?" He waited for Chris' answer before turning, heading back to the kitchen and poking around. Some bottled tap water bought with the very first wad of Chris!bucks would suit Chris' thirst... and ooh, what was that? A box of crackers? That would do well for Chef.
Chef placed the items down on the table before disappearing into Chris' bedroom, reappearing with a blanket. This was thrown over Chris before he retrieved the snacks and water, opening Chris' bottle for him. "There. Anything else a'fore ah sit down?"

Water? Check. Food? ..Check, he already had some. Blanket? Check.
Water sipped, Chris seemed content. "noooo dude, cmooon you're gonna miss a good part!" The host snickered, pointing at something..rather boring going on in the movie. Oh yeah, he was still out of it.

Chef sighed. This was going to be a loooong night.
At least he had a box of crackers, nevermind that they were Chris-shaped. Food was food, man. He settled down on the couch, half-watching the movie and half-listening to what he could hear of camp, just in case someone tried to take advantage of the moment.

Chefersonmanthingpillow back in place, Chris scooted over to flop against him once more. As soon as he was settled, Chris was out again.
Sucks to be you Chef-man, guess you're stuck until morning.
